Thanks Mate, just tested it but only used thew Half Trend indicator on a 1 hour chart and entered the trade when the price crossed the trendline after the signal was issued and got some great results. out of 50 trades only 8 were a loss, the rest were profits.

@@Undertakerfan700 I started to, but found that there was was many false entries & the time from pin pointing the RSI cross over to the actuall entry would take far too long.
I've stuck with Price action support/resistance trading..

Hi - Thanks so much, i will give this a try, as it looks promising with trend following, and then using lower time Frame to find a good entry on pullback, hence we can get higher RRR with tighter SL (which begs the Q where is best place to put SL). I have a few Qs: 1) How much does it need to retrace? You used FIb 50 % retracement - is that your preferred retrace confirmation technique? Are there any other good markers, levels or indicators we can use to determine if retrace was enough (e.g., retrace a fixed amount of pips, or use halftrend indicator to confirm retrace, or?) - which is the best way, and what are other good techniques to confirm retracement? If it doesn't retrace enough, then we should skip trade entry? 2) For entry, is it good idea to place sell stop or buy stop for entry at ATR line, once it retraces to at least a specific level? (that appears to be what you did, since you entered at ATR line, thus, it seems best to do sell stop or buy stop at ATR line, otherwise i will miss that entry point). And, 3) Where do you put your SL (fixed SL, or behind a certain candle, or ?) 4) bonus Q - is it enough if it retraces into Halftrend zones (e.g.; any retracement into halftrend zones is enough retrace?), and then (for entry) it crosses ATR again in direction of trend? Thanks mate, If the indicators show an opposite signal you can exit or set a fixed profit target .❤
I recommend in any strategy to just work with fixed stop loss and take profit. This way you define your risk to reward clearly for example: 0.5% account loss for 1.5% account gain. This way you smooth your equity curve and you can work for trading companies as you are reliable to them. I recommend funded trading plus for a challenge account.

Only one thing remains: it appears that the Laguerre RSI setting in the video differs from what I use on the trading view chart. It appears to be less noisy than the indicator with the default settings in Tradingview. Would you please let us know if any adjustments to the indicator's settings are required?
I adjusted the alpha value to 0.2, but this is not a fixed value; you can experiment with different values in different markets.❤

Good job man, amazing strategy. But would you please give more clarifications about SL and TP.
if you do it on shorter timeframes, you can do the 1:1.5 Rule, or on longer, till the first down arrow of the halftrend appears, I do SL on the bottom of the Halftrend indicator of the 1h timeframe when I looked into it on 15 min and letting it roll till the first red appears on the 1 hour...so you can take away trends with it, BUT pls test it yourself...

@@TradingNerds You can do that, I tested and using this "strat" for like a year already, and made the best profits by not using fib, since at the moment, politics is driving the market price very much and no psychological prices

Excellent.... but where should I put the take profit and when to close with profit before reaches that take profit level ? like in "Heikin Ashi scalping strategy" you have suggested two exit ways by hitting the laRSI 80 or show the bearish Heikin Ashi candle in case of buy order indeed...thanks in advance
You can use H4 half trend, H4 Laguerre rsi or a Fixed profit target. You should backtest with various profit targets to analyze which will give the most profits.

here in your first example, we get the entry 54 hours later once you identified the LRSI crossing 20 line. In the second long example, it is 36 hours. Do you think it is a long time you wait for an entry? and what if the entry candle appears at night and then you miss the entry altogether.
Retracements take a few days to appear if you want to swing trade in 4H time frame. You have four hours of sleep before the next candle print on the chart :D

Hi, when you show the short example you enter on the pullback rather than when the price leaves the ATR to the downside. Is there a specific reason for that?
On the long examples you enter trades when the prices moves above the ATR.
Apart from that, this is definitely interesting, thanks for sharing!

If holding forex trades for 2-3 days & entering on 15 minutes chart action,what should be Guiding time frame chart for trend direction.If one uses daily for trend,then trader is paying for overpriced merchandise marked up over many days.Going with 1H trend for direction,the trend can flip on A dime. Decent trend on 4H chart is not going to flip on A dime. I think that 4H trend is optimal for direction.Objective is to buy on correction & to keep stop loss 30-50 pips for risk control.Seek your wisdom.

Near the 0.5 fibo level. The Fibonacci tool is optional; you can confirm the pulback with any technique.❤

People are moving forward by developing new indicators rather than closing down existing ones.
If I new what Indicator to use for a pull back then I would use that but I don't have any indictors for this.

You could also use the 13 and 62 Ema.. 62 Ema is best probably
Do you really need to go to a smaller time frame? Seems a lot of the time there is no pull back and the trade is lost. If you entered on the H4 or H1 penty of winning trades.

So the video says 91% win rate? Any backtests to show? What market and what timeframe did it backtest 91% win rate on? You did give examples of TP and stop rules but should have explained them better in detail for beginners. Have to assume its BS without evidence to back it up

Oh, you mean the bitcoin example. For back testing, I chose a 1:3 RR, but you can use a fixed profit target or any other exit technique. So, I exited the trade based on the H4 half trend indicator.
