    Very cool, loved seeing a practical use case for regex! I’m pretty new with using it and you did an excellent job explaining!
    For this particular process if you do this often you might like using excel to delimit the data as an alternative. Basically separates the data into columns via a selected delimiter, which in this case looks like a double space.

    Thank you so much. Learned so much basics too.Don't know why, I watched various videos before, but didn't get well on other people's regex tutorial. But You have explained everything very clearly and practically. Now I can use regex on some basic stuffs at least. Thank you :)

    Sir thank you. I am here for a specific problem, Very nice video very close to what I needed but my selection other than my pattern is entire text selection. So it replaces with "/1" literally but when I click next, i get my selection and pattern is group 1. Is it possible to help me, in that scenario please

    Awesome that you can work with RegEx so easily, am I correct to say that the default MS Notepad will not allow the use of RegEx to do exactly this style of character or string manipulation within Find/Replace? Would I be able to use RegEx in this manner within the CMD? Thanks so much for the awesome video.

    hello. Nice video. Can you help me with a regex code?
    I have 40 .txt files. In every files there is an "item_id = 1".
    I want to increment that "1" with an find and replace in those file. So then I should have an different "item_id" on every files. From 1 to 40.
    .txt 1 should have "item_id = 1";
    .txt 2 should have "item_id = 2";
    so on..
    Can you help me please?

    Way to wordy. Anyone looking up videos on how to search with notepad++ are already going to know what notepad++ is. Your almost 8 minutes in before you get to anything even remotely useful.
