Sandra, you are the very very best storyteller in the way you sing ! The emotion, the tone, your expressions and movement, and the clear pronounciattion drags us all deep into the very heart of the true intentions of the lyrics ! You are a blessing for putting on the sing-along, however, your ability to touch heart through your style is something I am truly grateful for. It is a true gift.... I've said it before..... and God is using it for His glory. This sing-along draws me (a lonely, older, divorcee) into worship and praise to the God who shines in the beauty of the smiles, and and instruments, and the lyrics, and the laughter. I could go on, and I would, but most of all I'm thankful for helping me love God more..... no matter what the world dumps on us. Hey Sandra, please try to get a better balance between the piano and the voices. Your site is called Sabbath Singalong. That's not so easy to do if the piano is so loud that it drowns out the beautiful harmonies of the singers.
Oh Sandra, after an amazing sing along last week to hymns that were divinely appointed to worship God and give glory to him, you’re back to modern songs that soothes the emotion rather than bring conviction. For example the song ‘I call God my friend” elevates self love and doesn’t place the petitioner prostrate at the feet of God praying, “I hope God accepts me as his friend” or something like that. Please use the great platform and don’t be afraid to repeat the old paths.
@@mauvettegregory1694 if you are SDA and believe we are living in the judgment that is fast closing, you would be more careful what you use for worship. Ponder that. Isaiah 58 is my appeal. If Non SDA are unable to give the gospel how can they give the lyrics to songs?
When I was a party going Non-Adventist, I was invited to a gospel concert by my still very present Adventist best friend to this day. I wasn't interested at first but decided to attend, just to please her, because we didn't really mix socially in the evening's. I was totally impressed by the first song "What Shall I Do" and most of the songs I now know were a mixture of choruses an hymns and maybe a few contemporary. It was the energy and love experienced of the people around me at the concert, but mostly the conviction of the Holy spirit. I was far, far, from church and expected a happy clappy church boring atmosphere. I attended Sunday school has a child. This was however ab anointed experience and God used that experience to open my heart. I started attending church sometime later and was baptised a few years later. At my baptism I relayed the concert was better than any party/rave I had ever attended. I love hymns, but wasn't impressed at first. This is a beautiful ministry and like Jesus we need to be patient, and kess judgmental, allowing the holy spirit to convince hearts and mind. I don't agree with all songs and styles but agree with the holy spirits power to reach the heart of the hard-core raver, rocker, atheist, who might stubble over this singalong ❤... Our most urgent prayers through this ministry should be, lord reach someone through these songs. Praise the lord for today's singalong, beautifully sung and played. Continue all to use your God given gifts for His glory, to win soul's into God's kingdom, what a blessing 🙌

John 15:14 says "Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you." And Zechariah 13:6 says, "And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends." So I KNOW that God calls me His friend - even when I fail him. The song "Friend of God" whilst it is not really my style, is just another way of singing the beautiful old hymn "Blessed Assurance, Jesus is Mine"
