no answers by NI to questions here, no answers to e-mails on simple questions. sadly quite a poor support. but again a try: I have to buy a new mobile soundcard as my old audio 2 dj is not supported anymore by Mac OS. but as this tractor audio 2 is now already almost 7 years on the market I wonder if I should wait if there are plans for a new version of this soundcard and support for this version might then also end quite soon...??? will there be a new model of this soon or not? please answer.
This interface is amazing but I have a huge issue with mini USB port, cables falls out and souncard disconnects from every touch, its extremely dangerous during the dj sets. Was this defect taken into the account in the new batches?
From a fellow DJ, thanks for the heads up. Will be passing on this because of your comment. No one wants to have to use electrical tape just to keep a cord plugged in.

I have Traktor Scratch Pro 2 A10 but I need the interface box and multicore color cables can I use the Audio 2 to connect to a laptop to run the software and jam in the club?

Set mixer to external in traktor and you're good to go.
Can i use this with lightning to usb cable? Im using newer version of ipad
The Traktor Audio 2 Interface does not work with the iPad. The headphone output does, but the MAIN output has no signal.

no both the z1 and z2 are Traktor interfaces /mixers the ideal set up is the z2 which is dvs and 4 deck comparable designed especially to pair with the d2

Does this work in Catalina macOS? I have mohave and it sure doesn't work, not even with driver. Im kind of disappointed...
I want to know like many others if the z2 will continue to have support when a new version comes out, NI is losing sales because there is no news, there is no certainty of having support for an old product, I do not want to buy a z2, and in a few months it will be discontinued and obsolete.
No, they do not support old products and do not update the drivers. I am abandoning this company for good.

Great soundcard. Loved it for years. Now defunct. Not even heavy enough to be a paperweight. C'mon, N.I. , update the drivers and make it live again. How hard can it be? It's customer service like this that just breeds resentment towards you which is a shame. Yeah, we get it, you have to make the benjamins, but customer loyalty is priceless. So many disappointed Audio 2 owners, it's not even funny. Bad optics, guys. Be the change!
