So , Bahubali takes the task of "diverting the crowd" and "make the crowd watch him" , while the Bad Guy concentrates on searching for the thief ( as shown in the song). Even in this scene, we can observe that the Bad Guy has his mission of acquiring the crown , while Bahubali does not mind diverting the crowd towards him ,for Bahubali - task of catching the thief has to be done successfully, he does not think of catching the thief himself , in the sense - he is not materialistic , but patriotic. The Bad guy's concentration is ONLY ON THE CROWN in what all he does.
