I been in these situations on both ends. I moved in with a girl and also had a girl move in . Look my advice is if you not married don't do it . That shit is gonna crash fast . If its not my wife im not moving in with this broad. I was 22-23 she was 28-29 years old. She would always threatened to put me out when shit didn't go her way.

I had a guy (my boyfriend at the time) stay with me ONE time in my early 20s. We actually were in love but he didn't contribute (i cooked, cleaned AND paid the bills). I was too young and dumb to even be mad but on top of all that he had the nerve to be insecure and wanted to control me smh
We broke up, he moved out ..left most of his shit behind. Gave him MONTHS and plenty of warnings to get his stuff ..we weren't even beefing, he was just taking his sweet time as usual. I eventually moved, and got rid of and sold his stuff (only two items were worth anything)
He got mad BUT still tried to move into my new spot. Hell nah! 😂 I wasn't balling but not way I'd go through that again.
When I met my husband years later, he had his own spot. A simple one bedroom, beat down car BUT it was his! We built TOGETHER ...and been together 15 years ❤

Been in that position with no car & no job for 2yrs. You try to stay out of sight out of mind as much as possible leaving no type of trails. It’s hard to feel like a man. My darkest night was the best thing to happen to me. My life changed completely the very next morning.
I actually tried that with a female friend, who I wasn't even clappin', but she still found a way to make me seem like a burden.. I would get up by 7 or 8 am, leave the house and didn't return until like 8 or 9 pm at night. I was sleeping on the couch and wanted to only use her place to crash, not lounge around like a bum. I would even turn down food the majority of the time, unless I was really strapped for cash. I cleaned up after myself and everything. But she still wanted me out after 2 months, trying to blame me for her rise in the bills. I would only shower once or twice a week.. Most times, I washed up at the sink, just so I wouldn't run up her water.. But I think she got mad because I didn't try to clap her cheeks. I was separated from my wife at the time, but I still had feelings for my wife and wanted to work it out. Plus, I wasn't attracted to my friend like that and I didn't want to ruin the friendship, but after I kinda rejected her offer, she flipped on me.

I was in relationships with both (at different times) but even still I got irritated after a while and wanted my space back the way I had it when it was just me living there. 😅I have a hard time sharing space with other people because I enjoy my solitude so much and also I don’t cope well with negative energies or toxic situations. 🤷🏾♀️ I grew up with too much of that in my household with my parents and vowed to never be in that type of relationship/marriage.
