txt are literally one of if not the most diverse 4th gen group, they’re so unique compared to others. When you Stan txt you’re not only getting their music, you’re getting *2 lores*
I’ve noticed it to all the time. I became a Moa right around the time freeze came out and I remember how when gbgb came out everyone and their mother was talking about how TXT were such flops completely ignoring all their achievements. And like if those people actually listened to a TXT album they would realize that there is probably at least one song they would like because they don’t have the same sons on every song let alone album. The achievements that TXT have hit in their careers are I would say pretty big and impressive but every time a most tries to praise them they get bashed because apparently it doesn’t really matter and anyone could do it. You’d think with the amount of times haters have been proved wrong when they try to make up a scandal for TXT they would give up. Taehyun a whole club thing was proved to be an over exaggerated when the person in charge put out a statement saying it was a personal party; or like way back when, when people were trying to get Yeonjun a bullying scandal only to have his schoolmates come out and talk about the amazing person he is. Sorry I have some feelings about this topic.
It seems that no matter how hard txt works, no matter how many new and innovative genres of music they put out, no matter how much they write, produce, or improve their vocals, there will always be someone to diminish their success. txt is the only group I stan as I only casually listen to some other groups, so I cling very tightly to them. I don’t want to sound like one of those parasocial fans but I take the hate they receive personally, since it is very disheartening to see. The members all work so hard, are ridiculously talented, and seem to be lovely people. They don’t deserve any of this.

This was a very detailed and well-made video. It was nice to hear from the perspective of a predebut moa (not that any of this is nice but you know what I mean). I became a moa and a kpop fan about one month before Thursday’s Child came out. I don’t think I had witnessed so much hate towards a member until ggum came out. I was shocked at how open and casual other kpop fans were about their disdain for Yeonjun. At some point it didn’t even seem like it was about the music or dance. It was about him. I feel horrible for him because there’s no way he didn’t see that. I of course feel horrible for the rest of the members individually as they all unfortunately receive their own share of hate.
Five years of TXT, and it's insane how they’ve had to deal with so much hate and unfair comparisons. Meanwhile, groups like bts, straykids, and enhypen keep getting praised for doing the same thing over and over, while TXT is out here breaking the mold. Their sound? Unique. Their performances? Next level. Their concepts? Deep and groundbreaking. It’s clear some people just can't handle the fact that TXT is on a whole different level, doing things no one else can. Dance is YEONJUNs life and it’s Evident in the way he performs, SOOBIN has a passion for the Industry itself and Conveying his self and stories through his performances . Coming to BEOMGYU, Stage is his Thing, Performance is his Thing and he never lowers the bar. TAEHYUN sings to live, Singing is his passion and I don’t even need to mention that cuz that boy sings with ACTUAL EMOTION!! HUENING is MUSIC, MUSIC is HUENING, That boy was RAISED TO MAKE MUSIC AND SING, he’s a total package. All of them combined, MAKE A GEM OF A GROUP. THE FACT THAT THE INDUSTRY JUST SHADOWS ALL THIS UNDER THE RUG ANGERS ME SO MUCH CUZ THESE BOYS ARE “ONE AND ONLY”.
5 years of hate, but TXT's still standing strong. They turned every bit of negativity into motivation, and look at them now killing it with their talent and heart. Can't ignore greatness, no matter how hard they try. TXT's journey just shows that no matter the obstacles, if you stay true to yourself, you'll always rise above.

i never thought about it untill you made the older and younger sibling analogy, but maybe thats why i feel such a deep level of attachment to txt, as someone who lived in the shadow of my older siblings achievements, subconsciously, maybe i related to this aspect of them in addition to their great music and talent and hard hitting (for me at least) lore and story line centered about not wanting/ feeling ready to grow up. i hope that one day maybe they can finally FINALLY escape this shadow, then maybe i can too.
The hate they get is so insane and it's clearly just kpoppies being envious and scared of their talent and hard work. I hope the future will be brighter for TXT.

Im gonna be honest I’ve been around for a lot of boy group debuts: txt, ateez,enhypen,stray kids. They all got hate after gaining popularity and establishing their music identity. While some of them changed musically fans didn’t accept it and refere it too a “down grade” in music. It was really just a change in style. Anyways beyond that I agree with your points and appreciate the in depth analysis!
another thing I see taehyun get hate for is that he has more " boundaries " than a typical kpop idol and I find it so stupid that you think he is mean and not worth stanning because he has boundaries, secondly tell me why when you mentioned token stan i was like "idk what that is but hopefully i am one"🥲
I’ve personally never seen anyone say that but the fact that there are people who think that way is insane. I respect Taehyun a lot for that exact reason, the fact that he has boundaries. If he is told to do aegyo for a challenge or an interview, he chooses not to. I don’t know why anyone would be upset by that. He is a human being who can make his own decisions and he owes us nothing. But I noticed that when moas tell him to do aegyo at fansigns or on fancalls he always does it. He would never deny a fan’s request. Even if he did though, that would not make him a horrible human being that the haters so desperately want him to be. I would fully support him if he ever denied a request.

Ugh. Thanks for this video ❤ I have been a moa for about six months I think? So I have been in heaven getting to know all the eras I missed. Catching up on it all. And I love them as if I’ve known them forever. They are my favorite group of all time. Their music is my heaven. But I noticed all this too. It hurts me to my core when beomgyu doesn’t get lines or very few lines. And some people will always dismiss it and say it’s not important. If you compliment him they come after you and say Yeonjun is better. Always putting Yeonjun on a pedestal but then also love it when they can finally tear Yeonjun down. Like they did with ggum. People are two faced snakes. And the fact that people STILL have a hard time - with any idol honestly - that they are multi dimensional and not just the silly loud one or the shy one. It’s so baffling. People just have you in a box. Beomgyu is extremely smart. Emotionally intelligent. Calm and soft. Also strong and funny and talented and amazing. His calm personality was one of the first things I noticed that made me fall in love with him honestly. Huening Kai is extremely underrated. He gets low views in fancam etc. he is literally perfect. He can sing amazingly. Is a perfectly good dancer. Funny. Caring. Smart. He deserves to shine ! Also didn’t even know he was half white. All I know he is so beautiful and sweet and I love him so much. Taehyun is also very underrated. I haven’t personally noticed any specific hate yet. But I’m sad to hear it. Soobin is clearly such a soft person. He is a great leader and you can see how much it affect the group when he is gone. Yeonjun is the sweetest and most thoughtful older brother in the group. I am actually shocked how few views some mv’s have. Like hello??? Over the moon doesn’t even have 50 mil. It’s very shocking. Their music is probably the best discography in kpop in my opinion. And to see how they don’t get the views as they should. It makes me feel really hurt. It feels like no matter what they do, how overworked they are, they never get the support they deserve ?? I'm a fairly newer moa compared to you, but I can't imagine loving any kpop group as much as I love them.. Me too i saw that but i couldn't understand why they're making such fuss about this .. for the fact it wasn't even a proper album yet it's just mixtape that contains one song which is ggum. I feel like ggum is probably the boldest release of the year which deserve praise for being that unique.. it's ok not to like song but way that things blow up is absolutely crazy it was to the point that i started to feel depressed, demotivate i had to detach myself from social for awhile.. i must praise Yeonjun the way he's dealing with the situation. TXT is only one group that I dive in all albums. No skip albums. They are all talented, funny and charming. When together, they have some dynamics and bonds. Feel like they are friends and siblings. Thank you for creating this video, I hope it will be seen as much as possible🙏🏻 from the very debut I felt that too much was kept silent, but I thought it seemed to me. Since initially I was an army, after the debut th became moa and th became my ultimate, I constantly felt this pressure on th from the whole kpop fandom. All their awards as groups of BEGINNERS were simply devalued because they were either awarded to BTS or compared to the achievements of BTS. And they also debuted in 2019, while skz and etiz (aka the top three of the 4gen) debuted in 2018 and they already had their own fanbase, while th just had it. You also rightly said that each return has a unique and inimitable concept, but at the same time all their returns are connected by a plot. The plot and uniqueness are a VERY strong point of tht, I admire their universe and unique concepts. But for some reason (I really don’t understand why) many people don’t like their versatility. In their opinion, it would be better to use the same concept every time and release similar songs (aka emo-rock). I’m (already) not amused by the fact that literally every side of the th I admire is exposed in a negative light and undeserved hate is poured on them from all over the Internet, while achievements are stupidly silenced and ignored. Every time Moa is happy for th, it is condemned. Why can’t I - moa call th the best, if I really think so, and other kpop fans can??? Moa and as much as possible respectfully, warmly and carefully treat the mentions of other celebrities, quietly rejoice for th and tolerate such an attitude from fans of other groups. And I love that now (at least 5 years later) they started to speak out about it!!! I won’t be shy anymore either. this video was so needed. I'm a freeze moa who cherishes TXT like I've been there since predebut, and the hate for gbgb honestly baffled me. Moas were so angry at TXT for gbgb, as if they didn't already have songs like frost, puma, etc. They even released a rock version of 0x1 to get these moas used to the concept, and they still hated gbgb. smh, I don't miss the hate.
I'm maintaining a huge distance to mainstream k-pop and especially k-pop fandom and social media plattforms.. So most of what you mentioned in your vid is news to me and it makes me immensely sad. Some I heard of before, the more recent badmouthing mostly, and the reasoning and argueing is ridiculous. Getting to know about what a harsh time these guys had and still have (and funny that it's similat to what bangtan went throu as well..) makes me appreciate these wonderful and beautiful - inside and out - five people even more. I found them through BTS, yes, but after two years as a mostly casual listener, nowadays I'd really like to concider myself an ot5moa. I absolutely adore these boys for their talent and personalties and how despite or because of the hate and backlash they recieve them as a group and family are as close and sincere and hardworking and seemingly just good people. I kinda wish I would have stanned txt earlier , all of their releases are fire and it’s a shame that instead of praise they get hate for stupid reasons and are called flops just because Deja vu , chasing that feeling etc weren’t trending on TikTok that much .. like they are still popular and txt isn’t flopping just because you don’t see their newer songs that much on TikTok . Anyway I hope txt will grow even more in the future and can finally just get praise for their hard work and amazing music.❤
I've felt every word you've said and it's frustrated me enormously because no one has ever talked about them, let alone as fully as you have. I've been following them for years, they're my favourites and I couldn't understand why no one was talking about them. Among the reasons for hatred, I've also seen that they're "too perfect" to be liked... that's nonsense. Another thing I've noticed is that sometimes there are obvious (and I do mean obvious) plagiarisms of their work and nobody cares. Really. It's mind-boggling. One day it's all over Twitter and then it's over. TXT are a fabulous band, you really get the impression that because they're nice and polite you can step on their toes with impunity.

I have been following TXT ever since Jin mentioned they will be debuting in his speech years ago and honestly I don't regret it, their music the way they present themselves resonates with me the same way BTS did 9 years back. All the members are such sweethearts and honestly deserve everything in the world, I adore the members.
I came across your videos and as a Stay, I thought I’d watch to maybe learn a little about TXT. I don’t listen to other 4th gen, only some older artists. Due to the ‘butter’ era of BTS / and the ‘Kateye’ show I have developed a dislike for Hybe as a business. This has meant I’m one of those that don’t want to promote their artist.s So in watching the struggles these poor lads have been through I lower my head and say sorry. It’s not thier fault thier company is bad, they obviously work hard and deserve respect. I don’t like that the artists are pitched against each other as they are often friends off stage! I will take an interest in TXT and try to support, at least appreciate them. I happen to love the noice music so will check out what suits my taste. Great video content and well presented. 24:25 That’s a great point I’ve never thought about. When I was first getting introduced to the txt members one of the first things I was learned is that Beomgyu has multiple sides to him. Yes he can be loud and silly but he’s also sweet and kind. For this reaction I definitely don’t think it’s something for people to throw a fit over but I can imagine moas wanting Taehyun as Simon since he is the smartest but you did call out some unconscious bias I didn’t even know I had. Why should it bother me if someone decided Beomgyu is Simon? And have I ever thought of Beomgyu as smart? I never thought he was dumb but I definitely didn’t peg him as a genius either. I can’t remember what group but there is a member that people treat exactly like Beomgyu when it comes to smarts. The fans reaction is so overwhelmingly negative that EVEN I noticed it. I thought it was so weird how people were acting like the member was actually stupid- like that’s a human being you’re talking about right there. 24:57 ya know what’s so interesting about these topics? They’re both included in Beomiebear’s guide to txt. And they’re main points as well. One point labeled as “middle child” and the other “tiny”. Isn’t that crazy? Moas have blown this out of proportion even though Beomgyu has already stated his stance and it’s such a big deal in this fandom that it makes it into a guide to txt as a MAIN POINT of his personality.

Beomgyu is more than that he's a good producer, self taught guitarist, person who possesses rear ability like relative pitch , he's a shy , quite introverted guy who acts fool just to make us and the members happy.. he's a mature grown up man not annoying kid / babygirl/ princess who can't be left unattended.. he's caring person who easily sense if something is wrong in the atmosphere and many more. People forgot taeil's SA incident, seunghan's incident in a week but cant just forget to hate on txt for the past 5 years just because they are a hybe group and the biggest reason why they get hate is they are TXT. I'm tearing up while watching this video. Txt is the only kpop I stan. Sure, I like watching other groups but there's no other Kpop group like TXT. I never consider them as "BTS little brothers" ever. I am not a fan of BTS in the first place. I only got into kpop because of TXT. Before I learn about them, I didn't give a sh** about kpop. What's surprising is that, l eventually learned that I'm not the only one. There are a lot of people who weren't into kpop before or until they learned and stan TXT. Isn't that enough proof to say that Txt is amazing on their own? They are not just "BTS little brothers" for us. For many of us MOAs, TxT is what saved kpop... TxT is kpop. I remember when Taehyun was revealed as a member of TXT and people said he had a resemblance to that of Jonghyun from SHINee. I liked it but others said that as a way to say that he's not better than the person he looks like, and I was like: "what do you mean by that exactly, and how does that tie in with how he performs better than someone who is no longer with us?"

I agree with everything else everyone is saying, that nowadays people seem for discredit TXT for the success they should have long owned before, coupled with the unnecessary hate generated by people on the internet. Their brand of music is so unique and each of the members alone are aces, which is why TXT is a group of aces-but I still think they’re not recognized enough for it. When ggum came out, I was excited because it’s yeonjun’s first solo and I thought people should support it since he worked hard to try a different genre he liked. I feel like in terms of music, what matters is that yeonjun likes it - if this isn’t to your taste, you do not have to like it. Idols have boundaries and deserve respect too - I do wish they are well to give a concert than unwell. Some people just hops around into comment sections when they are not a fan, to comment on him, and yeah, it’s not even about the music but that the music became an excuse for them to dislike him and his potential. I do not think he deserves any of the hate having said that. Some people have a fragile heart and you can’t ask them to grow a stronger heart because everyone’s experiences are different (sorry if I am rambling on!). At this point, it is just people not willing to accept that YJ IS THE 4TH GEN IT BOY and took every reason to pray for his downfall. I listen to other group’s music too and like other groups - I always wonder why there’s always some kind of hate surrounding one member. singing abilities: As someone who knows quite a bit about music and vocals I can say that Txt’s vocals are really well rounded, there isn’t any member with weak vocals, even Beomgyu who is generally considered as txts weakest vocal is a good singer. Yes, when members hit those higher notes (mostly Teahyun and Huening Kai) they can sometimes strain their voices, I feel it’s really rare for them to do so. They only strain when they’re singing songs that are not in their usual vocal range which is natural in any singer and something they have constantly improved since debut. Other stans comparing their vocals to other idols its inevitable but txt is absolutely not a bad group vocally and anyone who says so is either deaf or just a hater. Huening kais hate: fat shaming him is crazy. I know it’s not my job to judge his body but anyone can tell that huening kai has never been fat. As you said in your video others say his waist isnt “snatched” or that his thighs are wider but those are all genetics? anyone who says someone is fat for having genetically thicker thighs or genetically wider waist is insane. Hueningkais body type is not one that kpop stans are used to seeing in idols but his body type is normal and common. People who judge his appearance and body are ignorant fools have nothing else to talk about. Unstable fandom: Since txts music varies so much each comeback people not liking it will be inevitable. Txt generally doesn’t have a set style in their music so keeping fans is just difficult. As a Moa I think their discography is impeccable and each comeback is amazing, i never have to force myself to listen and force a song to grow on me but I get that people simply don’t vibe with specific songs and that’s understandable. I understand that people may not like their new comeback but I KNOW none of their songs are bad, they are just not every persons style. Hating on a song is insane to me, just dont listen to it. I personally loved GGUM and I saw a lot of people hating on it. Yeonjun has always been a more performance based idol with his strong suit being dance. This song allows yeonjuns dance to shine and i honestly think that people hate on it because they see other doing it too. if you dont like a song just dont listen to it. talking about the "baby bts" thing, txt were under bighit as trainees BEFORE bts became the biggest kpop group, if im not mistaken Yeonjun was in bighit since 2014 (and the other members followed in 2016 i think), so it pisses me off when people say they wouldn't have succeeded if it was not bts, thinking bighit would only decide to do a new group if bts became the biggest kpop group on the planet...
Yes yeonjun joined in 2014 and the fact that bighit wanted him. Yeonjun never approached bighit first but bighit did. And i believe taehyun joined 1 and a half year later than yeonjun, like a few months after bts debuted (maybe) and then soobin joined, then hueningkai and at kast beomgyu joined in 2016. People think txt didn't have to struggle.. really? They had to practice in a room that was leaking water, they only had one heater to rely on, they went to the same place where bts would go to eat, the lady still remembers them, they would order 2 soda and mix water in it so that everyone could have it, the only reason they didn't starve to death was their parents, their parents would send food for them often and the 5 of them shared with each other... There are countless more things that had happened but yet people think they lived in luxurious houses since trainee days... People called them fake only because they seemed really close even before their debut. Do people forget that these idols train together in order to debut together?? These 5 has known each other for almost 3 years before debuting. Ofc they were close...
Okay so I'm going to post a long comment because thank you bestie I want to scream out my feelings too 1) The thing I hate the most that general people have this perspective that omg txt debuted under bighit, bts's company wow they're so privileged from the start and wtv and tbh I can't blame them for thinking this way because people tend to believe what's shown to them or what is on the screen. The actual reality is so brutal, TXT had it I won't say the same struggle as bts (as artists I respect them a lot, their extraordinary rise from humble beginnings is not something anyone can achieve) but txt had equal struggles! They were there since 2014 when bts was not known. Now Imagine you working extremely hard, saving money for food because the company didn't give you food, sweating a lot but still can't open the windows because it will make you ill or so many more only to find that now when it's your time to debut, your seniors have become so popular that each and every person will compare you to them and criticize, hate you for debuting after them. In my opinion I wonder how strong minded and humble they are to endure everything they went through! 2) And if someone thinks bighit treats them so well than oh my god, they can't even give qual treatment to a 5 member group what do I expect from that company?! The only good thing that company has ever done to this date was to just debut txt. And now hybe? I absolutely agree with this video and I’d also like to add that hatred towards BTS and anything perceived as associated or connected to them is permeated with hatred by Kpop Stan’s. This is absolutely part of the reason why txt, and now other hybe groups are relentlessly harassed and bullied, because all Kpop Stan’s can think of them as is bts’ juniors when they are their own people and should be allowed to be seen as such.
I agree with everything, but the hate and neglect is not only from other fans but Bighit itself and other powerful people in the music industry. They remind me so much of the Beachboys a fantastic group that came out of USA battlling it out on the charts with the Beatles. They never got the love they deserved, never won a Grammy, the local hometown group. Yeah, the got some tribute Grammy after most of the band was dead. But you know what they had was longevity. I think TXT health is most important right now, I don't want them to burnout from overwork. They put so much emotion in their singing and expressiveness in their dancing. I stopped at the end of episode 2. As an MoArmy, was guilty of episode 1. .. like i joined their weverse on Mar2023 because of BTS and forget about them... till wow back for more. 2. Their bts and txt songs are similar to me, as i dont care about all other kpop groups but just this two, its diverse/variety, rich and well balance. 3. IMO Txt have the ✨️BEST✨️ discography in all of kpop. For the opinion 1 I dont have any problem if he is in maknae line or hyung line. Even if he is close to Soobin's age. Soobin is the one who want beomgyu to be in maknae line 😂. Whenever beomgyu talks about being in hyung line, you will always see soobin correcting him by saying that he is still one year younger according to korean age standards. I listened to it when i wasnt a moa and then i decided to stan them. And chasing that feeling is amazing to me. It give the 80s aesthetic vibes. The instrument is so soothing that i can literally fall asleep while listening to it. Chasing that feeling was the first song that made me want to learn the choreo. Chasing that feeling is my most favourite song and i think its really underrated but its okay. I understand people has different taste in music. I’ve noticed it to all the time. I became a Moa right around the time freeze came out and I remember how when gbgb came out everyone and their mother was talking about how TXT were such flops completely ignoring all their achievements. And like if those people actually listened to a TXT album they would realize that there is probably at least one song they would like because they don’t have the same sons on every song let alone album.
The achievements that TXT have hit in their careers are I would say pretty big and impressive but every time a most tries to praise them they get bashed because apparently it doesn’t really matter and anyone could do it.
You’d think with the amount of times haters have been proved wrong when they try to make up a scandal for TXT they would give up. Taehyun a whole club thing was proved to be an over exaggerated when the person in charge put out a statement saying it was a personal party; or like way back when, when people were trying to get Yeonjun a bullying scandal only to have his schoolmates come out and talk about the amazing person he is.
Sorry I have some feelings about this topic.
It seems that no matter how hard txt works, no matter how many new and innovative genres of music they put out, no matter how much they write, produce, or improve their vocals, there will always be someone to diminish their success. txt is the only group I stan as I only casually listen to some other groups, so I cling very tightly to them. I don’t want to sound like one of those parasocial fans but I take the hate they receive personally, since it is very disheartening to see. The members all work so hard, are ridiculously talented, and seem to be lovely people. They don’t deserve any of this.

This was a very detailed and well-made video. It was nice to hear from the perspective of a predebut moa (not that any of this is nice but you know what I mean). I became a moa and a kpop fan about one month before Thursday’s Child came out. I don’t think I had witnessed so much hate towards a member until ggum came out. I was shocked at how open and casual other kpop fans were about their disdain for Yeonjun. At some point it didn’t even seem like it was about the music or dance. It was about him. I feel horrible for him because there’s no way he didn’t see that. I of course feel horrible for the rest of the members individually as they all unfortunately receive their own share of hate.
Five years of TXT, and it's insane how they’ve had to deal with so much hate and unfair comparisons. Meanwhile, groups like bts, straykids, and enhypen keep getting praised for doing the same thing over and over, while TXT is out here breaking the mold. Their sound? Unique. Their performances? Next level. Their concepts? Deep and groundbreaking. It’s clear some people just can't handle the fact that TXT is on a whole different level, doing things no one else can. i never thought about it untill you made the older and younger sibling analogy, but maybe thats why i feel such a deep level of attachment to txt, as someone who lived in the shadow of my older siblings achievements, subconsciously, maybe i related to this aspect of them in addition to their great music and talent and hard hitting (for me at least) lore and story line centered about not wanting/ feeling ready to grow up.

Im gonna be honest I’ve been around for a lot of boy group debuts: txt, ateez,enhypen,stray kids. They all got hate after gaining popularity and establishing their music identity. While some of them changed musically fans didn’t accept it and refere it too a “down grade” in music. It was really just a change in style. I’ve personally never seen anyone say that but the fact that there are people who think that way is insane. I respect Taehyun a lot for that exact reason, the fact that he has boundaries. If he is told to do aegyo for a challenge or an interview, he chooses not to. I don’t know why anyone would be upset by that. He is a human being who can make his own decisions and he owes us nothing. But I noticed that when moas tell him to do aegyo at fansigns or on fancalls he always does it. He would never deny a fan’s request. Even if he did though, that would not make him a horrible human being that the haters so desperately want him to be. I would fully support him if he ever denied a request.

Ugh. Thanks for this video ❤ I have been a moa for about six months I think? So I have been in heaven getting to know all the eras I missed. Catching up on it all. And I love them as if I’ve known them forever. They are my favorite group of all time. Their music is my heaven.
But I noticed all this too.
It hurts me to my core when beomgyu doesn’t get lines or very few lines. And some people will always dismiss it and say it’s not important. If you compliment him they come after you and say Yeonjun is better. Always putting Yeonjun on a pedestal but then also love it when they can finally tear Yeonjun down. Like they did with ggum.
People are two faced snakes. And the fact that people STILL have a hard time - with any idol honestly - that they are multi dimensional and not just the silly loud one or the shy one. It’s so baffling. People just have you in a box.
Beomgyu is extremely smart. Emotionally intelligent. Calm and soft. Also strong and funny and talented and amazing. His calm personality was one of the first things I noticed that made me fall in love with him honestly.
Huening Kai is extremely underrated. He gets low views in fancam etc. he is literally perfect. He can sing amazingly. Is a perfectly good dancer. Funny. Caring. Smart. He deserves to shine ! Also didn’t even know he was half white. All I know he is so beautiful and sweet and I love him so much.
Taehyun is also very underrated. I haven’t personally noticed any specific hate yet. But I’m sad to hear it.
Soobin is clearly such a soft person. He is a great leader and you can see how much it affect the group when he is gone.
Yeonjun is the sweetest and most thoughtful older brother in the group.

Thank you for creating this video, I hope it will be seen as much as possible🙏🏻 from the very debut I felt that too much was kept silent, but I thought it seemed to me. Since initially I was an army, after the debut th became moa and th became my ultimate, I constantly felt this pressure on th from the whole kpop fandom. All their awards as groups of BEGINNERS were simply devalued because they were either awarded to BTS or compared to the achievements of BTS. And they also debuted in 2019, while skz and etiz (aka the top three of the 4gen) debuted in 2018 and they already had their own fanbase, while th just had it. You also rightly said that each return has a unique and inimitable concept, but at the same time all their returns are connected by a plot. The plot and uniqueness are a VERY strong point of tht, I admire their universe and unique concepts. But for some reason (I really don’t understand why) many people don’t like their versatility. In their opinion, it would be better to use the same concept every time and release similar songs (aka emo-rock). I’m (already) not amused by the fact that literally every side of the th I admire is exposed in a negative light and undeserved hate is poured on them from all over the Internet, while achievements are stupidly silenced and ignored. Every time Moa is happy for th, it is condemned. Why can’t I - moa call th the best, if I really think so, and other kpop fans can??? Moa and as much as possible respectfully, warmly and carefully treat the mentions of other celebrities, quietly rejoice for th and tolerate such an attitude from fans of other groups. And I love that now (at least 5 years later) they started to speak out about it!!! I won’t be shy anymore either. I will do everything possible to ensure that they receive the attention and love they deserve. I hope other moas will gather courage and will support tht always. Moa once - moa for life.

this video was so needed. I'm a freeze moa who cherishes TXT like I've been there since predebut, and the hate for gbgb honestly baffled me. Moas were so angry at TXT for gbgb, as if they didn't already have songs like frost, puma, etc. They even released a rock version of 0x1 to get these moas used to the concept, and they still hated gbgb. smh, I don't miss the hate.

I'm maintaining a huge distance to mainstream k-pop and especially k-pop fandom and social media plattforms.. So most of what you mentioned in your vid is news to me and it makes me immensely sad. Some I heard of before, the more recent badmouthing mostly, and the reasoning and argueing is ridiculous. Getting to know about what a harsh time these guys had and still have (and funny that it's similat to what bangtan went throu as well..) makes me appreciate these wonderful and beautiful - inside and out - five people even more.
I found them through BTS, yes, but after two years as a mostly casual listener, nowadays I'd really like to concider myself an ot5moa.
I absolutely adore these boys for their talent and personalties and how despite or because of the hate and backlash they recieve them as a group and family are as close and sincere and hardworking and seemingly just good people.

I kinda wish I would have stanned txt earlier , all of their releases are fire and it’s a shame that instead of praise they get hate for stupid reasons and are called flops just because Deja vu , chasing that feeling etc weren’t trending on TikTok that much .. like they are still popular and txt isn’t flopping just because you don’t see their newer songs that much on TikTok . Anyway I hope txt will grow even more in the future and can finally just get praise for their hard work and amazing music.❤
I've felt every word you've said and it's frustrated me enormously because no one has ever talked about them, let alone as fully as you have. I've been following them for years, they're my favourites and I couldn't understand why no one was talking about them. Among the reasons for hatred, I've also seen that they're "too perfect" to be liked... that's nonsense. Another thing I've noticed is that sometimes there are obvious (and I do mean obvious) plagiarisms of their work and nobody cares. Really. It's mind-boggling. One day it's all over Twitter and then it's over. TXT are a fabulous band, you really get the impression that because they're nice and polite you can step on their toes with impunity.

I have been following TXT ever since Jin mentioned they will be debuting in his speech years ago and honestly I don't regret it, their music the way they present themselves resonates with me the same way BTS did 9 years back. All the members are such sweethearts and honestly deserve everything in the world, I adore the members.
I came across your videos and as a Stay, I thought I’d watch to maybe learn a little about TXT. I don’t listen to other 4th gen, only some older artists. Due to the ‘butter’ era of BTS / and the ‘Kateye’ show I have developed a dislike for Hybe as a business. This has meant I’m one of those that don’t want to promote their artist.s So in watching the struggles these poor lads have been through I lower my head and say sorry. It’s not thier fault thier company is bad, they obviously work hard and deserve respect. I don’t like that the artists are pitched against each other as they are often friends off stage! I will take an interest in TXT and try to support, at least appreciate them. I happen to love the noice music so will check out what suits my taste. Great video content and well presented. 24:25 That’s a great point I’ve never thought about. When I was first getting introduced to the txt members one of the first things I was learned is that Beomgyu has multiple sides to him. Yes he can be loud and silly but he’s also sweet and kind. For this reaction I definitely don’t think it’s something for people to throw a fit over but I can imagine moas wanting Taehyun as Simon since he is the smartest but you did call out some unconscious bias I didn’t even know I had. Why should it bother me if someone decided Beomgyu is Simon? And have I ever thought of Beomgyu as smart? I never thought he was dumb but I definitely didn’t peg him as a genius either. I can’t remember what group but there is a member that people treat exactly like Beomgyu when it comes to smarts. The fans reaction is so overwhelmingly negative that EVEN I noticed it. Beomgyu is more than that he's a good producer, self taught guitarist, person who possesses rear ability like relative pitch , he's a shy , quite introverted guy who acts fool just to make us and the members happy.. he's a mature grown up man not annoying kid / babygirl/ princess who can't be left unattended.. he's caring person who easily sense if something is wrong in the atmosphere and many more.

I'm tearing up while watching this video. Txt is the only kpop I stan. Sure, I like watching other groups but there's no other Kpop group like TXT. I never consider them as "BTS little brothers" ever. I am not a fan of BTS in the first place. I only got into kpop because of TXT. Before I learn about them, I didn't give a sh** about kpop. What's surprising is that, l eventually learned that I'm not the only one. There are a lot of people who weren't into kpop before or until they learned and stan TXT. Isn't that enough proof to say that Txt is amazing on their own? They are not just "BTS little brothers" for us. For many of us MOAs, TxT is what saved kpop... TxT is kpop. I remember when Taehyun was revealed as a member of TXT and people said he had a resemblance to that of Jonghyun from SHINee. I liked it but others said that as a way to say that he's not better than the person he looks like, and I was like: "what do you mean by that exactly, and how does that tie in with how he performs better than someone who is no longer with us?"

Thank you so much for this video! 🥲🩷 You touched upon a lot of things that I have heard of and can never brush it off. I agree with everything else everyone is saying, that nowadays people seem for discredit TXT for the success they should have long owned before, coupled with the unnecessary hate generated by people on the internet. Their brand of music is so unique and each of the members alone are aces, which is why TXT is a group of aces-but I still think they’re not recognized enough for it.
When ggum came out, I was excited because it’s yeonjun’s first solo and I thought people should support it since he worked hard to try a different genre he liked. I feel like in terms of music, what matters is that yeonjun likes it - if this isn’t to your taste, you do not have to like it. Idols have boundaries and deserve respect too - I do wish they are well to give a concert than unwell. Some people just hops around into comment sections when they are not a fan, to comment on him, and yeah, it’s not even about the music but that the music became an excuse for them to dislike him and his potential. I do not think he deserves any of the hate having said that. Some people have a fragile heart and you can’t ask them to grow a stronger heart because everyone’s experiences are different (sorry if I am rambling on!). At this point, it is just people not willing to accept that YJ IS THE 4TH GEN IT BOY and took every reason to pray for his downfall.
I listen to other group’s music too and like other groups - I always wonder why there’s always some kind of hate surrounding one member. If you are truly blinded by one’s success to hate on them, it’s not even envy but that you don’t want them to overshadow others perhaps because you don’t stan them. It might be expectations, as a member of TXT. While soobin is away, I truly feel that TXT is 5, and that I’m glad at least all members have each other to depend on.
singing abilities: As someone who knows quite a bit about music and vocals I can say that Txt’s vocals are really well rounded, there isn’t any member with weak vocals, even Beomgyu who is generally considered as txts weakest vocal is a good singer. Yes, when members hit those higher notes (mostly Teahyun and Huening Kai) they can sometimes strain their voices, I feel it’s really rare for them to do so. They only strain when they’re singing songs that are not in their usual vocal range which is natural in any singer and something they have constantly improved since debut. Other stans comparing their vocals to other idols its inevitable but txt is absolutely not a bad group vocally and anyone who says so is either deaf or just a hater.
Huening kais hate: fat shaming him is crazy. I know it’s not my job to judge his body but anyone can tell that huening kai has never been fat. As you said in your video others say his waist isnt “snatched” or that his thighs are wider but those are all genetics? anyone who says someone is fat for having genetically thicker thighs or genetically wider waist is insane. Hueningkais body type is not one that kpop stans are used to seeing in idols but his body type is normal and common. People who judge his appearance and body are ignorant fools have nothing else to talk about.
Unstable fandom: Since txts music varies so much each comeback people not liking it will be inevitable. Txt generally doesn’t have a set style in their music so keeping fans is just difficult. As a Moa I think their discography is impeccable and each comeback is amazing, i never have to force myself to listen and force a song to grow on me but I get that people simply don’t vibe with specific songs and that’s understandable. I understand that people may not like their new comeback but I KNOW none of their songs are bad, they are just not every persons style. Hating on a song is insane to me, just dont listen to it. I personally loved GGUM and I saw a lot of people hating on it. Yeonjun has always been a more performance based idol with his strong suit being dance. This song allows yeonjuns dance to shine and i honestly think that people hate on it because they see other doing it too. if you dont like a song just dont listen to it.

talking about the "baby bts" thing, txt were under bighit as trainees BEFORE bts became the biggest kpop group, if im not mistaken Yeonjun was in bighit since 2014 (and the other members followed in 2016 i think), so it pisses me off when people say they wouldn't have succeeded if it was not bts, thinking bighit would only decide to do a new group if bts became the biggest kpop group on the planet...
Yes yeonjun joined in 2014 and the fact that bighit wanted him. Yeonjun never approached bighit first but bighit did. And i believe taehyun joined 1 and a half year later than yeonjun, like a few months after bts debuted (maybe) and then soobin joined, then hueningkai and at kast beomgyu joined in 2016.
People think txt didn't have to struggle.. really? They had to practice in a room that was leaking water, they only had one heater to rely on, they went to the same place where bts would go to eat, the lady still remembers them, they would order 2 soda and mix water in it so that everyone could have it, the only reason they didn't starve to death was their parents, their parents would send food for them often and the 5 of them shared with each other... There are countless more things that had happened but yet people think they lived in luxurious houses since trainee days... People called them fake only because they seemed really close even before their debut. Do people forget that these idols train together in order to debut together?? These 5 has known each other for almost 3 years before debuting. Ofc they were close...

Okay so I'm going to post a long comment because thank you bestie I want to scream out my feelings too
1) The thing I hate the most that general people have this perspective that omg txt debuted under bighit, bts's company wow they're so privileged from the start and wtv and tbh I can't blame them for thinking this way because people tend to believe what's shown to them or what is on the screen. The actual reality is so brutal, TXT had it I won't say the same struggle as bts (as artists I respect them a lot, their extraordinary rise from humble beginnings is not something anyone can achieve) but txt had equal struggles! They were there since 2014 when bts was not known. Now Imagine you working extremely hard, saving money for food because the company didn't give you food, sweating a lot but still can't open the windows because it will make you ill or so many more only to find that now when it's your time to debut, your seniors have become so popular that each and every person will compare you to them and criticize, hate you for debuting after them. In my opinion I wonder how strong minded and humble they are to endure everything they went through!
2) And if someone thinks bighit treats them so well than oh my god, they can't even give qual treatment to a 5 member group what do I expect from that company?! The only good thing that company has ever done to this date was to just debut txt.

I absolutely agree with this video and I’d also like to add that hatred towards BTS and anything perceived as associated or connected to them is permeated with hatred by Kpop Stan’s. This is absolutely part of the reason why txt, and now other hybe groups are relentlessly harassed and bullied, because all Kpop Stan’s can think of them as is bts’ juniors when they are their own people and should be allowed to be seen as such.
Coming back for more was amazing, but the latest songs aren’t as good. They have to find their groove.
I agree with everything, but the hate and neglect is not only from other fans but Bighit itself and other powerful people in the music industry. They remind me so much of the Beachboys a fantastic group that came out of USA battlling it out on the charts with the Beatles. They never got the love they deserved, never won a Grammy, the local hometown group. Yeah, the got some tribute Grammy after most of the band was dead. But you know what they had was longevity. I think TXT health is most important right now, I don't want them to burnout from overwork. They put so much emotion in their singing and expressiveness in their dancing. I don't want that spark to burnout. Every human needs to recharge and just get away from it all for some period of time. They can write songs if they want or just do things they enjoy other than music.

I think a lot of the reson they were hated was because the bighit pushed them out as bts younger brothers i rmember reading it in littrally everyother article it was there where as other groups wernt pushed/marketed as a younger version of said famous group think itzy you didnt see headlines saying twices younger sisters everywhere and I think them winning grand slam rookies made the hate even more. I think theve come to a point now where that dosnt affect them as much theyve establishd themselves as independent from BTS.

2. IMO Txt have the ✨️BEST✨️ discography in all of kpop. 4) Y'all need to stop treating huening kai like a baby just because he is the maknae. He is not a baby.He is a grown man and im tired of people commenting on huening kai's more mature looks saying stuff like " NOOO he can't dance to the killa, its to mature and He's just a baby." He is an *ADULT*

6) huening kai is an underated perfomer. His mix and max performance with yeonjun proves it. We all know he can sing but he really doesn't get enough credit for his dancing and stage presence.
7 )....i think this was mentioned in the video but the members compliment each other and when one is missing it shows, i think thats why they dont have postions ( apart from the fact that they are all rounders and need no positions😊) ......i see videos where people replace the members with other idols as a joke but i don't think Txt wouldn't work if it weren't for these 5 specific members
8) Txt's issues always get swept under the rug because people think of them as privileged, when txt gets plagiarized other groups call moas sensitive and stupid but had the roles been reversed they would hate on txt so much. When txt gets sick or tired, stays and engens are the first to point out how skz and enhyphen are more overworked and txt shouldn't complain cause they come from a big company (NO HATE TO THESE GROUPS GUYS ). When txt mention they're tired then netizens says its their job.

9) netizens don't have reasons to hate txt so they make up their own.....during their debut era I remember reading a comment that said " y'all i can't seem to stand txt. Like, is it just me, or are they too perfect. They almost never mess up on stage and all The members are all rounders and have no scandals"... like imagine hating on Them for being unproblematic 😂

I dont have any problem if he is in maknae line or hyung line. Even if he is close to Soobin's age. Soobin is the one who want beomgyu to be in maknae line 😂. Whenever beomgyu talks about being in hyung line, you will always see soobin correcting him by saying that he is still one year younger according to korean age standards. Tbh imo beomgyu suits in maknae like more but if being in hyung like makes him happy, i will gladly call him a hyung liner.
37:30 I’d say this is more a matter of opinion. I personally do not vibe with gbgb, in fact, I think it’s one their weakest title tracks. The same could be said about Chasing that Feeling. I love the music video and the song is nice but it’s not one of my faves. Even though a title track isn’t the entire album it’s what the general public and non-fans will see the most so if there’s a negative reaction yes some of it is coming from people who expect all their songs to sound the same but I also think it’s just how the general public takes it.

Lol i respect your first opinion but my opinion is totally the opposite. Good boy gone bad was the song that made me so immersed in becoming a moa. I listened to it when i wasnt a moa and then i decided to stan them. And chasing that feeling is amazing to me. It give the 80s aesthetic vibes. The instrument is so soothing that i can literally fall asleep while listening to it. Chasing that feeling was the first song that made me want to learn the choreo.
Chasing that feeling is my most favourite song and i think its really underrated but its okay. I understand people has different taste in music. Like i didn't like tinnitus, danger, frost ar first listen. I couldn't force myself to love these either but as time went by, i got obsessed with these. Especially frost.

Even though I may not like every title track of txt’s I can appreciate their diverse discography. It displays their versatility and ensures there’s something for every listener no matter the genre.
@@_harley_1288 ngl i love all their title tracks but there are some b-sides that i dont like yet. For example roller coaster, ice cream. These are just not my type, i still kinda like them but i wont consider them as one of my liked songs. I'm actually really afraid to share these thoughts with people because they might call me fake fan but im glad that there are still people who has likes and dislikes and still can consider themselves and others as moa. We are lucky that these comments didn't reach the young baby moas 😂

To be a fan, you need to have love for them and support them. even if you dont like some of their songs, its okay you can still be considered a fan but people just don't understand this... I have seen so many people say "if you dont know this song, how are you even a moa?" It makes me so mad.. i know all their korean songs, i just dont like a a few but i dont really listen to their Japanese tracks. I might start listening to Japanese tracks but for now, ik none of them except for we'll never change, kitto zutto and hitori no yoru...

okay some points, the hate train txt got happens quiet alot to a rookie following a popular senior, fx and snsd. exo and nct(this one was very bad), bap and secret, tvxq, suju and snsd,(also very bad) baby vox and Rania, sistar and boyfriend, bigbang, winner and ikon, 2ne1 and bp(very bad hate trainee) snd the newest examples ateez and xikers and babymon and bp. It's not okay by any means but it has happened all the way back in 2nd gen because people set high expectation on rookies and will hate on them if they were like bts or not because people just wanted something to hate them(2019 was a good year music wise but a bad year when it came to kpop news) because they were bts juniors(after a while the big3 stans get used to those companies debuting new groups so it's normalized, txt was bighit was first group in 6 years and they didn't tell us get used to them because then enha debuted then hybe was reated and then all this groups under hybe are debuting and next year the new bighit bg is debuting), is it okay never as a multi that ulted bts I just wanted to support those boys but damn 2019-2021 were exhausting mentally kpop stans(sorry for the rant)
