Lovely video, most of my spotting trips started from Newport (we didn’t have a car so my Aunt would run me to the station from Bedwas) I spent a ton of time there it was magic and as a bonus there’s some lovely HST Valenta screams in the footage too! Thanks so much for posting this
nice video in the early80s i drove from newcastle to newport with my bestmate first stop severn tunnel jct then ebbw jct shed then newport stn class33 where in charge of the cardiff to crewe trains
