That's why I set it on repeat whenever i find the song, once you hear it enough times you can can memorize the lyrics and learn how to pronounce certain letters (btw it may not look like it, but there's technically only 18 letters in the Irish alphabet 😉)
i knew einar selvik since vikings series, but, god.... that julie fowlis voice is magnificent...together they produced an eargasmic masterpiece on that coronation ceremony song
The song melted my heart, i dont know why i miss my elder brother so much who passed away last year... Whenever I listening to this song, her voice its like im traveling to the past, to the world of those vikings time....
the music in wrath of the druids was so good that i looked it up and will listen to it time to time while working. this was an interesting video, thanks ubisoft 🤙🏼
I know Ubisoft is going through a hard time now. But it nailed Valhalla. Been playing for a month now. 140+ hours crossed. Currently in Ireland DLC. Just heard this song. Wow. Really hope Ubisoft manage to nail Shadows as well.
This soundtrack and Julie and Einar were just….perfect….hearing her for the first time made me wanna just cry because it was as if I was seeing a beautiful dance or ceremony being done it felt….like I had heard it in a different time before…truly a mystical and awakening song to hear for the first time… Edit: did 23 and me and found out I am 75% Irish, Scottish and British❤️✨the rest is Swedish….maybe I did hear this in another time, tis the language of my heritage, my ancestors✨éirinn go brách 🇮🇪
What they created here is simply incredible. Julie's voice really leapt out of the game and instantly made me want to hear the music on it's own. Amazing work. One of my favorite things about Assassin's Creed is that the music never disappoints. Always authentic, always inspiring and introduces me to sounds in instrumentation i've never heard before.
When i came across the second song by Julie in the game, i simply stopped playing and just listened over and over for 45 mins with a cup of tea. It is enchanting, beautiful and makes the game. Congrats to both of these musicians.
A beautiful song, thoroughly enjoyed Wrath of the Druids and Julie did a fantastic job on the character, she's a beautiful singer, has a wonderful voice. A touching song.
After finding my roots on where i came from, i bought AC Valhalla and when i find out that watch of the druids (WOTD) was mainly Irish Gaelic (with a touch of Scottish). I wanted to learn more about the language and learn how to speak in Irish garlic tongue. It's been a few months and found online a good site that helps with the alphabet and rules to the language. Love the music, keep it up!
I avoided it because the reviews made it look like there wasn't much stealth. Bought it on sale just before Christmas and my wife and I had an amazing couple of weeks playing it. Fantastic game - great story telling!
I first heard this song in the game expansion pack, after taking the Castle you are asked to 'find Ciara'. Needless to say I found her in the Tower. I put the controller down & just listened for 10-15 minutes as the song repeated over.
Just like Eivor I was laughing at her drunken singing then BAM the coronation scene came up and I thought I died and went to heaven where the angels are welcoming me with a divine song.
One of ubisoft stongest parts of their games is thier music. This dlc is just another example of how good they really are with combine good music and for me this dlc is one of ubisofts best dlcs ever. Awsome story and sometimes scary sometimes just enjoy the view and the songs.
was hoping to see where Ciara ended up when you spare her. I romantize her in game so I wonder if she had Eivors baby??? i think Ciara had Isu DNA now mixed with Eivors thats some powerful baby !!
@@jackalope07 Why would I need to do that. I'm Irish? Yes the Gaels may have been native to Ireland but the woman herself said she speaks and sings in the Scots Gaelic language. That is the Scottish language. In Ireland (primarily western Ireland) we use Irish aka Gaeilge. That's like saying French and French Canadians are the same..

Ubisoft games always have a good soundtrack, don't they?
Absolutely.
Definitely
truuue
Absolutely yes for sure 👍 not only main theme every single piece.all throught the game.
Not always but most of the time
Ciara's voice (Julie Fowlis) ingame is just godly... my god.
My favorite character ingame of Ireland.
i knew einar selvik since vikings series, but, god.... that julie fowlis voice is magnificent...together they produced an eargasmic masterpiece on that coronation ceremony song
I am in love with candid Lia Fàil. I just loved Julie's voice ❤️
I didn't understand a single word of old Ireland laguage but Ciara's song still touched my soul
Incredible. Julie Fowlis is Incredible. Makes me proud to be a scot
The music in this game was as immersive and beautiful as the world they set it in. Loved the performance of Ciara.
The one constant through all these games has been the music. For 15 years it has carried the franchise. My goodness.
the song was the best moment of the entire game for me. I didnt expect the song at the barid's funeral scene so it came as a surprise and i enjoyed it
AC games always have a wonderful soundtrack! ❤️🎶
First with Merida’s voice, now she sings in AC Valhalla, LY Julie✨🛐

Julie Fowlis is beautiful, just like her singing!
Thank you Assassin's Creed for introducing me to Julie. I have been obsessed with Gaelic music for months now. Julie Fowlis has an amazing voice.
I know Ubisoft is going through a hard time now. But it nailed Valhalla. Been playing for a month now. 140+ hours crossed. Currently in Ireland DLC. Just heard this song. Wow.

I fell in love with her voice, stopped the chaos, perched on rock and just listened for 20 minutes. Thanks to all :)
Quite enjoy these behind the scenes videos. Especially of the soundtrack. Please make more!

I have to say I love the music, the Lia Fail song enchants me with Julie's voice and einar's music. Its amazing what u have both achieved
Ubisoft you've blown me away with this amazing DLC and the first thing was this song that hit me in the spot and I was just lost 😍

Wrath of the Druids was worth the soundtrack by itself, let alone being a great DLC. I really got drawn to this music.
Her voice is so beautiful... when Ciara sing on the tower alone, I just slowly moved to her for listening her song longer.😂
I did the same thing X}
I regret finishing the storyline and not just sit there and listen to her sing
Yeah right?! I was wondering where this beautiful voice comes from and just sat there for half an hour listening
Canaid Lia Fáil is one of the most beautiful songs I have heard
Simply amazing
loved it so much will done julie
I love these composer videos!!!!!!!! Thanks ubi
They did an astounding job! I could not stop listening to the music.
every songs from the Poetess Ciara (Julie Fowlis) is a masterpiece.
I listen to Canaid Lia Fail when i want to relax.
Just... beautiful!
That's soo coooool ..... Love to ubisoft
Omg I love that guy he made vikings what it was imo. And with Julie no wonder this was as great as it was
i just have to say love u guys and many tnx for ubisoft that created this masterpiece😍
A beautiful song, thoroughly enjoyed Wrath of the Druids and Julie did a fantastic job on the character, she's a beautiful singer, has a wonderful voice. A touching song.
I love this game
Honestly this DLC was the best part of the game, and her character was the main reason. The music was another major factor as well.
Wish she was part of the main story.

The only thing in which ubisoft have maintained their standards !!!
You are beautiful people , with beautiful ideas ❤❤❤
Thanks you
This is the best DLC in AC Valhalla

What's the name of the flute that was used for this song?
Thanks i like so hear 👂 this 🎶 music 💚

sucks you can barely hear the music ingame due to shitty audio game has
0 background music until combat.
Yup major minus point of valhalla
Bro picked the female Eivor
This game would have been perfect if they did it properly and didn't wokify it, Ubisoft has gone down hill rapidly since black flag
