EXCELLENT- I now feel like I can get thru this needle-in-the-muscle study! Prior to your excellent explination I just thought it was another brutal non-patient centered test.
Question Sir. I was watching the test all lines were white and one was yellow the person dragged the yellow line over until it went white. Why would he do this and is this a normal thing to do in a test when done the test and still have the cables attached?
I was hit from Bryan’s got a herniated disc. Normally I have no problems only when I walk a lot the bottom of my foot burns. If I get this test and my foot is not burning will it show anything or only after I have walked.
When I had my EMG exam, the doctor was pushing down on my arm with his arm along with the stimulator instrument. My Amplitude readings were over 100. Is that normal?
I was unable to understand any of EMG things until this lecture by you, it simplified
all of it
Thanks 🙏

Thank you, how would you check the pec and shoulder muscles on the nerve condition part?
Hi Jennifer I have the same question, I’m wondering if EMG is able to assess Brachial Plexus and pec and shoulder nerve bundles
thanks for this awsome information

i don't get the functions of the ground and reference electrodes
Why two stimulation sites necessary for motor conduction studies?
Haydar Arslan you need to know the nerve velocity, you need to measure the distance between two points
azorin Thank you so much sir. 👍

Sensory Nerve (5'4" Height)
Median - 2.9 Pk Latency & 117.7 Amplitude
Ulnar - 2.9 Pk Latency & 86.7 Amplitude
Radial - 2.8 Pk Latency & 30.3 Amplitude
Anita Hernandez that means that the dr under stimulated at a site
Ty_Baby Thank you, I thought so
