The previous gen Swift's will be a hit in the used market! 4th gen is a "downgrade" power wise and an "upgrade" ONLY in price!!😆 Don't buy 4th Gen Swift; Maruti must learn that the market rejects it hands down and market must teach Maruti a lesson! Swift means two things: sporty handling and that creamy smooth high revving 1.2 4 cylinder unit not this crude 3 cylinder just for mileage and fuel efficiency...

The biggest problem for the new Swift, even in the customer segment that prefers Maruti for its hassle-free ownership experience is the Baleno. The prices for each variant between the two cars are literally the same. The Swift VXI on road Chennai is around 8.7 lakh, which is the same price as the equivalent Baleno Delta. Not very sure what is Maruti's game plan here.

I think new Swift vxi is not value for money. We can get Hyundai i20 magna varient for same price which is spacious refind engine and premium hatchback. Interiors quality are premium than Swift. My choice is i20.
