I couldn’t believe this once I saw it and tried it and how long I’ve been paying so much for those stupid pods!!! I just use the smallest coffee filter, but just takes 1, and pour in a good amount of (just any regular ground coffee)… and it turns out even better than the pods? 🙏 You have my eternal gratitude. You don’t even really need to do the whole cup thing, just push a filter in with your fingers, pour the grounds, wrap it up right, close the lid, and there you have it.

very clever.. and it works. I've had that same coffee maker for years and only used it for about a week when I first got it. After watching video, I took it out of the cabinet and tried the suggested pod maker tip. It worked! and no mess, which is what I remember making was the reason I stored it away. Great video, only took me ten years to find it and watch. Thanks

First of all, I m French and I just expect you understand that I'm write...
You show a very good idea. I remember that kind of cofee filter when i passed some months in USA. But in France, they aren't at all the same ! I know I can cut mine on the same way but it's not so easy cause they are very differents.
Hope you understand. But it's a good idea for ... American people !
    Have a good day. Kiss.

Good idea. If I can suggest when You buy whatever coffee you prefer, try getting it ground in the machine very fine. They have different adjustments on the store grinders. You want a drip type that is fine, almost like espresso. For me it made a big difference with my Keurig too.Peace

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Nice of the gentleman to show us how to do it but at the end of the day I could have scooped a 1/4 cup out of coffee bag, put it in a filter, pot it im my old school coffee machune and literally brewed it in almost the same time it took for him to make ONE pod THEN brew it. I will look at this again. Maybe I'm missing something lol.

Thank you for your video. (BTW, please ignore all those people who feel the need to correct your grammar or ask why you want to make your own pods, etc.) I have a CV-1 single serve coffee maker that I bought after trying one in a hotel. I love it....but it doesn't come with a permanent brew basket. The company insists on selling their pods with a disposable basket (that's where they make their money.)
After much hunting, I found a permanent brew basket on ebay. I have been buying pods on amazon. They're okay but limiting on coffee choices. My daughter wants to make Starbucks coffee but those pods are only available in k-cup style (or Starbucks Verismo.) So your solution allows us to make the kind of coffee we want whenever we want.
This would be good to use with loose tea, too. One thing I will say, though about the measuring cup/glass bottom size: I have metal measuring cups that are taller and not as wide as the plastic one you used. I used the 1/3 cup which is about 2 1/2" across and that one works well. Also, after folding over the filter I gave another gentle press with the cup bottom. It all worked well!
Thanks again for taking the time to make and upload the video!

I use my Senseo here in Brazil.
I've been trying different ways to make my own pods but sometimes it works, sometimes not.
First thing that piss me, is i cant turn on the machine and then make my coffee, i have first to warm the water, making a coffee without any pod, getting on my cup just hot water, or i will get a cold coffee in first time.
Recently, when i use a pod made with paper napkin, the machine starts to leak with constantly drops util the process is finished. Other times, the water, or coffee i should get, stops of pour and seem that the water gets pressure and when it happens, i cant open the machine.
I realized that the kind of powder used makes a huge difference. When i use a very fine powder, the machines tends to clog. When i use a more consistent loose powder, everything is ok.
