I'm good with everything Mac has brought to. Circles was a perfect ending to his discography and I'd hate it if his label would start releasing a lot of half-assed music he was in the process of doing and call it an album.
This is literally the last track that we’ll see on any Mac Miller album built for release and it shows where Mac was musically. It’s so far ahead of anyone or anything. It’s beautiful. He was on the cusp of being worldwide stardom. This beautiful piece of somewhat a perfect ending to the situation. And I’ll be forever sad knowing I’ll never hear a new song / album. RIP Mac. I don't think he had any hate in his heart. If he did it was probably towards himself. He transformed from a frat rapper to an amazing artist who produced a lot of his own work and dabbled in many different styles as well as singing. A lot of his newer stuff is very introspective and kinda gave us an inside look of what he was dealing with and how he was growing as an individual, he has exposing himself and being brutally honest, but you could tell he was getting better which is the saddest part to me. R.I.P. Mac fr. 💯

it's also because mac evolved. From a stoner rapper to almost a jazzy rapper. He's really an artist. And I think fans that were there from the start also went through that growth. Swimming in circles was supposed to be a trilogy... circles being song based, swimming a mix of song and rap and the third one he was supposed to do a pure hip hop album as saying "I still do this, I still love this..."

Once a Day was a sad ending, leaves you expecting more. So I guess in terms of macs death it was accurate, but seeing as the album was a positive one it should have ended on a positive note, not a melancholy one, so i think that one dude whose name i forgot to handled the album should have put good news at the end
The Album was 95% done when he passed, Circles was a continuation of Swimming, and Once a Day is a genuine cliff hanger...Because it was supposed to be a 3 part album, unfortunately the 3rd album will never be...

Everytime i listen to Malcolm i feel sad and happy at the same time. My bestfriend wanted me to liste to his music and i would always tell her ill listen but i dont. Now that she passed away I do nothing but listen to Mac Miller and he keeps me Above waters like she did for me when she was alive. She was only 23 , we would keep eachother balanced and unconditionally love eachother. Thank you Mac Miller for being there for her when she was going through tough time and now you are here for me thanks to her. I feel the same. A good friend of mine killed himself & I always wonder what he was feeling during his last day with us...i feel like it was a lot of the melancholy that is so often exuding from Mac songs. Idk man, I just feel more of a connection to my friend when I listen to Mac Miller; he touches those unnamed, unfamiliar feelings so often.
My best friend died 8 days before his 23rd birthday. I still miss him so much it hurts. And he’s the one who introduced me to Mac. I feel every ounce of your pain so hard. It never gets easier either. Just stay strong for the people who would feel this way if you were gone.
Ever since his death, I have been in such denial of it and not wanting to accept it, though knowing he’s not here with us anymore. It hurts me so much to know he’s not here with us anymore. I miss him so much. I'm glad that his family didn't do what other posthumous albums did. Taking rough drafts and making them songs without the artist's permission. But here, it feels like Mac wanted this album to be released. It's genuine and beautiful. RIP Mac Miller ❤️

It's a weird feeling to miss a person you never actually met. But I really miss you, Mac. Hope you found happiness now, wherever you are now. Your legacy, just like your music, will forever be alive.

Mac knew he was gonna die. He wrote this album to be released post-mortem for us to deal with the grief. I thought it was weird when I first noticed him carving "Momento Mori" in the coffin of the "Self-Care" video. I just lost my brother to suicide last week. Days before, I came very close to taking my own life as well, coming as close as tying the noose and staring at it.. had a nervous meltdown, was too scared to go.. In my 25 years of living I've lost every single member of the family who raised me, besides one person, my cousin. It was so close to being both my brother and I, and my cousin being only one person left in the whole maternal side of my family.. I can't fathom what that would have done to her. The pain of losing my brother, essentially burying what's left of my moms side of the family, it hurts bad. I can say with certainty, though.. I am grateful that I am alive to be feeling that pain.. I am grateful that I got to reunite with my brother after a 19 year separation before he passed.. and I got to take mushrooms with him.. I will never forget that. Hearing my cousin say "please don't leave me, too" when I gave her the news.. it sent me fuckin reeling. No, man. I don't want to leave. Not anymore.

The last couple minutes the music made me feel like I was spinning and I felt like things were just flashing through his previous music up until his current one and doing like a quick rewind. It felt like this was the last one and it felt like the bow on top of a present. I don't think he had any hate in his heart. If he did it was probably towards himself. He transformed from a frat rapper to an amazing artist who produced a lot of his own work and dabbled in many different styles as well as singing. A lot of his newer stuff is very introspective and kinda gave us an inside look of what he was dealing with and how he was growing as an individual, he has exposing himself and being brutally honest, but you could tell he was getting better which is the saddest part to me. R.I.P. Mac fr. 💯

Once a Day was a sad ending, leaves you expecting more. So I guess in terms of macs death it was accurate, but seeing as the album was a positive one it should have ended on a positive note, not a melancholy one, so i think that one dude whose name i forgot to handled the album should have put good news at the end

I just lost my brother to suicide last week. Days before, I came very close to taking my own life as well, coming as close as tying the noose and staring at it.. had a nervous meltdown, was too scared to go.. In my 25 years of living I've lost every single member of the family who raised me, besides one person, my cousin. It was so close to being both my brother and I, and my cousin being only one person left in the whole maternal side of my family.. I can't fathom what that would have done to her. The pain of losing my brother, essentially burying what's left of my moms side of the family, it hurts bad. I can say with certainty, though.. I am grateful that I am alive to be feeling that pain.. I am grateful that I got to reunite with my brother after a 19 year separation before he passed.. and I got to take mushrooms with him.. I will never forget that. Hearing my cousin say "please don't leave me, too" when I gave her the news.. it sent me fuckin reeling. No, man. I don't want to leave. Not anymore.
It’s crazy how you just explained the same experience I had in 2020… Like so close it’s crazy.. My brother must of put in a good word to God for me bc i found god or more like God found me after my brothers death. Keep your head up we’ll find them again in no time

The last couple minutes the music made me feel like I was spinning and I felt like things were just flashing through his previous music up until his current one and doing like a quick rewind. It felt like this was the last one and it felt like the bow on top of a present. To me it feels like the perfect end to a chapter because I’ll never hear it like I did this first time again and that was the first time hearing him speak again like he was really here again for just a moment. And now it’s just another recording. Man it’s a special and surreal feeling. I really miss this man. I wish he didn’t die. It really breaks my heart when I think about him.
