Ontario NDP removes Sarah Jama from caucus after Israel-Hamas comments

  • Ontario NDP leader Marit Stiles says she has removed rookie legislator Sarah Jama from caucus.
Stiles says the member for Hamilton Centre, who has been under fire for comments about the Israel-Hamas conflict, made what Stiles calls “a number of unilateral actions” that have undermined the party’s collective work and broken the trust of her colleagues.
Jama spoke this morning in the legislature against a motion to censure her for a statement she made on the conflict between Israel and Hamas.
She said Premier Doug Ford’s government is targeting her to distract from its own scandals, and also said that governments and institutions in Canada are trying to use their voice and weight to silence people who support Palestinians.
    Colin D'Mello reports.

myop she spoke out of the chain of command during wartime and like a local that does not read a map, the Federal Govt has the RT to handle the details of when and if the C word shall be mentioned to a Hebrew in their State of War it is not EXodus 32:27 yet, but never bother a H while they handle their own State

if the nazis were killing the whomever, U do not call out for the use of the C word! u find the nazis first and then U C word them into being dead.
Look, she can go outside and attend anti israeli events all legal But when she used her local seat to demand the Premier (i do not even like the guy, but it is NOT the premier's call to demand the use of the C word
IN roman days the word "PEACE" was not allowed to be spoken death was the punishment after many Christians found out the white roman's laws about NOT using the P word IT was too late for many Christians so do not use the C word not even Hebrew atheist lesbians r using the C word
if u use the C word around one of them IDF females, they might take it as an act of War so be aware of where Not to use the C word.

So far, we see two terrorist States at work. Also, let’s not forget the historically, well-known, terrible treatment of the Palestinian people from Israel. They should be both condemned for their actions. Hamas needs to be removed and punished for their crimes, and Israel has yet to prove that they care about the countless innocent lives that are and will be lost under their siege. Israel, at least, NEEDS to establish evacuation corridors and allow the movement of the necessities of life like water, food, fuel and humanitarian help. If Israel continues to not comply with international laws by showing a complete lack of humanity, Canada, and the US, should distance themselves from any military aid in this conflict.

Now that Sarah Jama is an Independent, I'm sure she'll now have more time to use her experience, talent and social media skills to help establish a democratic style of government in Gaza with strong independent institutions of justice, similar to Ontario's. You know, the style of government that allowed her to be elected and to represent Hamilton. The hope is that Gazans will eventually be able to elect officials in a free, fair and transparent election that is devoid of intimidation and coercion. It will be officials that are actually accountable for their actions, and can be voted out if the people of Gaza believe they do not serve the interests of the people. Unfortunately, none of that is possible with Hamas.
