@@CeadReacts, it is to the shame of Eurovision that they reject "October Rain" but it is to the honor of Israel and Jews to make "Hurricane" as the fix for one allows Eden Golan to show the emotion and depth of her voice in "October Rain" while the power and control in "Hurricane." I like the original better, but I think the second did better for the world.
My top 10 list at Eurovision, unless someone tells me something to watch:

The Eurovision ridiculous advisors couldn't stand the raw truth, and made her change the song. And it's still WON🎉
This version is more about contemplation and a very deep state of grief and mourning.
It feels more like a"Kaddish" ( the Jewish funeral ceremony) then anything else.
since October We are all heartbroken still.
The massacre and This war that followed is devastating for both sides but we have to fight because those savages still trying to do it again and again and again...
So Israelies has no other choice but to keep fighting for freeing the hostages and for the justice that the victims deserves and for the world to see the truth because the world won't listen.
But the truth is that we are tired. we are so tired.. we are not a symbol for good or evil, we are just people who wish to live and die in dignity..
The Jewish nation has been trough enough over decades! we are tired..
and this talented young brave woman, she delivers this collective feelings very accurate.

This is indeed the original version of the song and it was supposed to be performed without props and dancers.
They didn't intend to win with this but hoped it could qualify and sung in the final before all of Europe. The EBU decided to censor it so the production team and the broadcaster went with a more standard entry so it could at least get high on the leaderboard.
The management in the broadcaster ironically preferred to not go to the ESC rather then censor themselves but the president (it's a ceremonial position but he is considered the consensus voice so his advice is often heeded) convinced them to produce the censored version - Hurricane.

I think it was the right choice to do a small changes to push it through ESC... Finally the people aren't stupid. They know what is it all about and dancers helped to convey the message very well. With all that Hurricane was more hopeful than October Rain and probably was right choice for ESC.
Now we can hear the original song and know it all well.
She is the real winner. I feel so ashamed how the mob reacted to her and the jury. I will never watch this disgrace, ever. Stay strong Israël!

Translation of the Hebrew part. There is no more air to breath, there’s no more space , there’s no more me from one day to another , they were all good kids one by one.
The last part in Hebrew is heart breaking. I personally feel alone drowning in an ocean of antisemitism and hate, after my friends and family were slaughtered, mass raped and tortured. I was moved by your tears and empathy. It means the world to me, for me its much more than a reaction video. You don't speak Arabic probably but when Hamas and the Palestinians from Gaza (children and women civilians) bursted into the houses of the Israelis with fire and guns they shouted: "itbah el yahood", meaning - Murder the Jews! However when the Israeli soldiers enter Gaza strip in order to stop Hamas from shooting rockets over Israeli civilians UNTIL TODAY btw in the south of Israel there were thousands of rockets that they still shoot on Israeli civilians, no Israeli soldier shout to murder Palestinians. We talk about peace and they talk about death. This is the difference between us. We give Palestinians jobs to work at us, and we took sick Palestinians children from Gaza to Israeli hospitals to take care and save Palestinian children's lives, but they were dancing and giving candies every time they shot rockets on Israel's children. And yes, Israeli people died from Hamas rockets! This is a war that Hamas started. And Israel has the full right to protect its own civilians! This is so obvious. Bring the Israeli hostages back home now with no condition!!!!
