Agreed! Big fan of the bands and guitars out of Japan. Cool to see Band-Maid featured on Trogly. I got to visit an insane block of guitar stores in Tokyo years ago and it’s one of my fondest memories.
@@AMPR45 yup, totally agree. I love their sigma series - the logo they use for that on the headstock looks great. These guitars are hard to buy though, I’ve only seen them in store a few times in Japan.
Japan makes some fine instruments. I still have my first decent guitar which is an Aria Diamond from the early 60’s. The build quality is really nice and the only issue I’ve had with it is some lifting of the finish near the neck. This was a common problem in those early days when the guitars were shipped to different climates. It was an issue of the wood not being properly cured and dried. Apart from that though it’s a great ES 335 style semi hollow guitar. Honestly I will never sell or replace it. A lot of original songs were written with that guitar. To me it’s priceless.
This is the only channel I still watch every day. I always loved guitars. I loved them years before I finally owned my first one. Been listening to BAND-MAID all day everyday for 10 years now. Such a great and unique band. Saikis voice is so great and so beautiful. Best band on earth. Misa is an absolute beast of a player, her tone and style are extremely prevalent in their music. And love her bass tone is absolutely insane.

If any of Trogly's subs are curious about Band Maid check out one of their latest live videos, "Hate?". Misa and Kanami the bassist and guitarist tear it up. @@zoeherriot nope. The body shape is what defines it for fender. Which pickups show up in the bass are less important. The pickup name just follows which bass it showed up in originally. PJ configurations have shown up on just about every fender style bass at one time or another. Your aerodyne is called a jazzbass because of its jazzbass shape. As to why Jaguar and not jazzmaster? Stuff does sneak through
its really a copy of the jaguar bass. Looks great
Beat me to it… that original Jaguar bass (with the separate passive and active circuits) was really great, kind of regret I wasn’t a bass guy when those came out.
You've got a what, now? Is there a cure? Oh, wood things, with stringy things on them. Right on!
For the love of all bass players please pick up a HX stomp or tech 21 sans amp bass DI for bass review 👍
Looks like a Jaguar bass

Man I just can't stand instruments with odd numbers of strings they just feel so weird

I think they did some songs that were in quentin tarantino movies
Not Tarentino. They did 2 songs for the Netflix movie Kate and appeared in the movie as well as themselves performing in the bar scene. They also had one of the songs in the Peacemaker TV show.
