I adore Derek and Ruth and his first wife Lydia and had listening to many teachings and also read his book "GOD is a MATCHMAKER" and "Appointment in Jerusalem" and it was the BEST I EVER READ Google " escape liked a bird" and read Ruth's testimony it will bless you for sure because it blessed me SO MUCH!!!
These teachings are anointed as Derek always has been since I have known him....what a blessing. I guess maybe I am a exhorter and showing mercy..and hospitality ....mmm......not important but hey it's fun to bless God's people.....they need the love to touch their heart.
I totally agree with the statement that the Holy Spirit is totally practical.Shortly after I intentionally taught my young sons to worship God, they broke into a fight because the younger broke a bottle he was told NOT to touch.With the broken pieces of glass on the floor God told the younger brother to go outside, take his slippers, broom n dustpan n go sweep up the mess he made. God IS practical!

Its also good to read the Present with Religion, a book available for free on the internet.The book is about the truth of life and it shows the full picture of life for the first time so that you may stop being deceived by the world and be able to follow the steps of Jesus and other prophets to Heaven.Knowing the whole truth of life is the key factor in our salvation. We must know the real truth, all of it and live in it and change ourselves according to it in order to be saved.There is no other way to our salvation.With the knowledge of the truth there comes true repentance which means changing our minds and also true obediance to God' s law and finally our sanctification which is a lifelong process. And God in His mercy will give us His wonderful grace which is the time and ability to make the proper change.Only in this way will we br able to attain our eternal salvation.Our task is to find this narrow gate that leads yo God and do it quickly and stay on it till the end no matter what.Then snd only then we will be saved.There is nothing more important or serious to do in this fallen world as our eternal fate depends on it.
