It’s kind of funny I never owned this game, but I played it a couple of times as a kid growing up but after all these years, this stage’s theme song and the beginning of it is the one track I remember the most. 😄
This games soundtrack is top tier. I just want to go back to the days of playing this game with my family and friends doing multiplayer tournaments all the time. It was a family tradition to be the best player.
Same, I miss the days of my friend Jimmy losing his mind when he all thought we were ganging up on him in mulitplayer on License to kill mode. Lol. Those days when you are so good at the game you can look at their screen and know right where they are lol
These tracks are just so insane. Even if the game sucked complete ass I probably would have still played it. But we all know this game did the complete opposite of sucking ass.
I seriously fantasize about an alt-reality where the 2nd analog stick never became standard, and all FPS basically modelled themselves after Goldeneye's default control scheme, where you would stop to do manual aiming (using the right shoulder button IIRC). I think it was a lot more true to reality, and a lot more immersive than the direction that the FPS genre ultimately took. In a way, I kind of blame Sony for this (they were probably the 1st with the Dualshock). The pacing of Goldeneye is a lot slower, in a good way, and it's basically never been emulated to this day.
There's a genre for that. It's called Wave! Skeler does a goldeneye remix that's insanely good. I seen him play it live at the club. I almost broke the concrete and flipped the rail, I was flipping out and rolling nuts
One of my favorite games growing up as a kid never forget being 11 years old when I got a Nintendo 64 and Goldeneye game in 1997. Definitely had late nights playing Goldeneye alone or with friends and one of my cousins who was a big James Bond fan like I am. I am still a Bond fan having all the movies just don’t get to watch them as much as used, part of getting older working and having a family.
there was a spot where you could hide and the enemies would just constantly respawn (at the base of the steps in the first portion of the level)... I wont lie that I spent hours there multiple times to listen to this song on repeat back in the day XD I would simply jam to this with endless waves of enemies spawning and getting near infinite AK ammo! oh the memories XD
Something I never had so clear about this game was how many faces were there for the soldiers all along the game, but I had the feeling that they were barely a dozen.
Still by far in my top 3 favorite n64 games ever! Loved sitting and playing 4-player multi-player with homes and fam.. can't find shit like this no mo 😩 plus the music was TOP TIER!! 🙌🏾🙌🏾
I remember when I was little playing this I was stuck in this specific level since I didn’t know how to progress, later in this year I found out that I needed to open a door from a button. Man, I was a real idiot
since this game released, I went on to a decent job, 2 amazing kids, a great girlfriend and still my biggest achievement in life is doing facility 00 in a minute 10

Same here. I was never a gamer, but enough of my friends were that this is still my childhood 😂
Yes because mom turned it off before you could headshot the sentry fire team
DK mode would help fore headshots
Like Borises profile pic in the movie
This is my favorite childhood song of 007 goldeneye theme song for sure 👌 😊
Control was good

@@LovelyPaperI get what you’re saying, but man is this game unbearable to play on 1.1 control. 1.2 is where it’s at brother.
Some of the missions are ass

I used to put proximity mines on those green ammo boxes in multiplayer 😂

Or inside the bathroom stalls.
Takes me right back, so glad I got to experience these times.

Well it’s time to bring back some memories.
Realising a decade later this game set me up with a knack for IDM / Ambient for life.
this shit went hard in the 90s lol
Sick bangers 2024. Miss the childhood…

you mediocre , your tastes are the void
That cold hit sound is so fucking iconic. I believe its just a massively pitched down tambourine sample.
I thought it was a metal pipe being dropped.
Whatever it is, it's hard wired into my head as the Soviet Union sound
4 player quarter screen on 1 old 4:3 tv, and you remmber telling your friends not to look where you at.. XDD good old gaming times.
Hands down the greatest soundtrack of any video game ever no argument

0:50 that little synth is what I came to this OST playlist looking for. Classic
funnily enough that seems to be a stock sound of an elephant

Kirkhope was definitely a brilliant musical mind!

This level was the most popular one when the game was new. So many guides were written on how to beat it in 00 Agent for the Invincibility cheat 😂
Thx to the producer❤😅
