- Hai. Its time for another Branded deck. Recently ive been liking 60 card lists better, for a few specific reasons.

The music is all original soundtracks from the Touhou game series. I just like the music, it's very cool.

Some Explanations:
- 60 cards has 3 main advantages over smaller builds. Firstly, in 60 card decks you are able to fit in more bricks into the deck without the risk of drawing so many of them. Branded beast, gimmick puppet, and maximus are new cards that have been added into the deck that wouldnt fit in smaller builds as they would be too bricky. It also hides the regular bricks like mercourier and tragedy more as well. Secondly, 60 card decks have more different cards in them than smaller builds, which means your opening hands are less likely to have multiple copies of the same card, which can really help with having playable hands, and more options going 2nd for how to sequence your pushes. These two reasons result in 60 card branded being strangely more consistent than smaller builds. The third advantage is that you can play grass. Going 2nd, thrust lets you search for grass more often, so you can resolve it more often than you might think. When grass resolves, its not amazingly strong on its own, and ends up just being a single extra push or two most of the time. The best cards to mill are retribution, albion, tragedy, and albaz. You typically use albion to send the branded fusion, and then add it back with retribution, or reset it using the 2nd effect of tragedy.
- Keeper of dragon magic is an additional starter to help keep the amount of starter cards high enough. This is why there is a 2nd copy of kitt too. Keeper can also search for deployment, which is a nice alternative when you already have access to branded fusion.
- Puppet is unfortunately essential to deal with snake eye. It helps going 1st, and it especially easy to summon when you mill it with grass, however it is also really important to go 2nd with. Locking out the opponent from playing on turn 3 is a good way to win the game without having to completely break their board and otk.
- Nadir and maximus are super strong. They are especially good when you get handtrapped and are unable to resolve branded fusion. They are not amazing going 2nd, but its too important to have a strong turn 1 against snake eye, and the amount of starters needs to be higher since the deck is 60 cards.
- Duster is a good search target for thrust that can break a rescue ace board.
- Droplet is a generically good non-engine card, which im trying out and have been liking recently. Its not 100% mandatory but i am currently liking it a lot. Playing imperm or veiler is also acceptable, however i really value having a card that cant be easily beaten with an extender.
- Mudragon and garura are both needed for superpoly right now. Sometimes you need to superpoly ash + poplar for garura, and other times its better to wait for later link monsters.
- This is one of my current ideas for 60 card branded, and im also testing out another version which ill post a video for soon. This is one is generically fine, and the other one is something im working on for the WCQ.
Is it good running maxx c in 60 card version? it's a brick and unsearchable meaning if you don't draw the card it can lose games TTT it's always a good card in all turns ( only my opinion 3 copies)
you arent unhappy when ur maxx c gets ashed, because otherwise that ash would have stopped branded fusion.@@phoneQ123

I've been thinking of going back to 60 to have more coverage when going second rather than just relying on hand traps nice list I'll use it for sure

I came back to playing Branded once i got burned out climbing with Snake eyes and actually did much better. Branded Lost is such a good card when you open going 2nd. It either forces a response or ensures your plays will go through even through counter traps like Salamangreat Roar or a negate from Baron.
I had a few good games recently. Yesterday i broke a Dinosaur board by setting Albaz and contact fusing away their Lars and Dolkka since theyre dragons. I also ended up winning games going 2nd against a Cosmo Neos and Calamity lock. Hexlex uploaded my game on his viewer special yesterday.
using it as a boardbreaker going 2nd is exactly why its good. its an extender going 1st instead of a brick, which lets you keep your power going 1st without risking drawing too weak of a hand going 2nd. Thats why 3 is best. playing 2 is not a good idea for cards that you want to draw, its either good or it isnt.

Queen of branded 😆, i wanna build a 60 cards branded too, since it seems interesting to be played,
i remember you ever give me some advice to play 40 cards, but i want to try and play 60
60 is better these days. its mainly because the power level of a 40 card consistent deck doesnt cut it in the current meta

it is still optional if you really dont want to play it. i just dont think its better than not playing it right now. In 60 cards the 1 brick is a small issue, and the card is sometimes the only way you can win against snake eye.
Yeah this meta is crazy. I also only have 2 Branded lost, you say there’s no point in playing 2, so should I reduce to 1 ?
its either 1 or 3. probably depends on the level of play you are wanting. For the highest level i think 3 lost could give stronger chances@@RoyalRareShua

I noticed that generally when it's your turn you will almost always use the mirrorjade effect during mainphase 2, is there a particular reason for that?
there isnt a reason to do that. maybe it happened multiple times in this video by coincidence. the reason i used jade in mp2 against mathmech instead of in the bp was because terahertz negates monster effects in the battlephase. Usually if you are going to banish something with mirrorjade on your own turn then its best to do it under the branded lost window, or in the battlephase, to play around effect veiler.

playing 3 is even better.
I was using 3 at one point but 2 is a sweet spot. I'm currently in Masters 2 running triple crow which often comes up

why do you only play 1 cartesia? and what would you replace feather duster with?
i would keep duster, its for race. can maybe play evenly but it doesnt do quite the same job. 1 cart is all you need. its not a great draw
