So for anyone who isn't already aware, when doing a dungeon and Shtola is one of your trust npcs *always follow her during mechanics!* She gets them correct 100% of the time because of her ability to see the flow of aether. Conversely *do not follow Bestinian* because the loldrg "meme" is now canon.
Estinien is the kind of player who has to eat a mechanic once in order to learn it. Then he gets it. Also, Estinien has similar LB tactics to Alisaie, with one difference: He will only fire it if it's safe. ...unless the tank is dead. In which case, *"It's all or nothing!"*
So basically for trusts system. Always follow Y'shtola and never Estinian. Got it. So what about the others in trusts systems. Are there any traits about them I should know about.
@@GalaxiaKnightX I've noticed that Urianger is like Shtola-lite in that he does get the majority of mechanics right but will still do things like stand next to the tank and get himself cleaved on occasions. So as not to spoil things for people who haven't got there yet I'll call them the Satrap it's pretty safe to follow them too but they don't move into position quite as quickly. For the rest it's mostly rotation things like Ryne applies old Trick Attack and Alphibro applying party buffs rather than behavioural stuff. One thing I will say, though, is to try it with Shtola as a healer then as a dps and watch that personality swap faster than Minfilia taking credit for your hard work.
That YYH movie was actually my first experience with the anime; rented the movie from a Blockbuster, and they kept talking in the movie in a way which made me wonder if there was more to it than a movie, so I went looking and found that there was an entire series. Of course these days, YYH is way more well known. Back to FFXIV, I'm glad that I'm not the only one who, even though I use the Trust the first time in a new dungeon, tries to figure out the mechanics on my own (even if it means dying and resetting) instead of just following the trust. Also, as a lala, it was so funny running past Golbez in that one scene. Finally, so weird seeing Drak as a viera. XD

My opinion is the exact same in any dungeon on any class, sadly. It's not a WHM-exclusive critique. It's the fact that every expansion each job gets more and more homogenized. Well balanced, but absolutely devoid of character and class-identity. So yes, I chose the MOST boring option aside from that, but my opinion remains unchanged.
2:40 best was in ARR their was quest early lvl that if you mindlessly follow the map without looking, you would fall down a massive cliff and see other people who did the same all lying dead.
Unlikely. And if I do it'll be off stream. The fans of the games can get pretty insufferable cuz on the chance that I DON'T like their favorite FF game? I'm garbage, my opinion is trash, I'm awful at games, etc etc. Even if I don't actively trash the game, people will come out of the woodwork to defend why I SHOULD like it. And I'm just too pampered by modern games. I don't have the adventurous mind that a lot of older RPGs require. I'll be using a guide the whole time and I doubt that'd be fun for people as well. If anything it'd just give them something else to complain about that and I just don't feel like going through it. FF4 3DS remake has already put me off characters I started to really enjoy through Opera Omnia of all things and people did NOT like that lol.
@@drakanoustwitchhighlights7853 my comment was supposed to be silly, sorry if there was a misunderstanding. But yes, I was meaning to imply that you would play them on your own time at your own pace. To play them for your own sake and not ours. If you do play them, I'd suggest the Pixel Remasters as they have the most QoL stuff added. And they're all about 20-30 hours each to play. You can even play them on your phone for quick sessions. And yes, I'd suggest using a guide if that makes you comfortable. No shame in that.

And if you are running as DPS with Alisaie you have about 3 seconds to use Limit Break rank 2 when it becomes available, otherwise she will use it.

DF large pulls don't make it any less "fun and engaging". Healer gameplay is ass.
