I have been in a relationship for nearly 10 years. 3 months after getting married, I caught him cheating on me. We decided to get divorced, but I ended up staying and giving him another chance because I found out I was pregnant. At that point he completely got the upper hand and i became extremely submissive... He treated me poorly for years... he would cheat, be verbally abusive, and threaten me into doing what he wanted. I let him walk all over me and would always forgive and bend to his will. I was a stay at home mom to our 3 children for most of the last 6 years and about a year ago, I went back to work. I stopped being isolated and gained some confidence. I got a new friend that I just felt like i was destined to meet and because he was a male, my husband flipped out. This is when I put my foot down and told him he’s no longer going to tell me what to do or tell me who I can socialize with. He did not like this and spent months in a manipulative and toxic spiral, trying to regain control of me, all while bringing in other women. We’ve been discussing divorce for the past 8 months and I’ve kinda just stayed because I don’t have anywhere to go where I can bring my kids with me, but at the same time I’m not dealing with his games anymore. I just fell completely out of love and there’s no going back and he knows this. He’s constantly saying he’ll do anything to get me back, but at the same time, he’s dating other people and it’s just laughable. Wow... I’m a Sagittarius and this was so spot on. I’ll explain my situation so you can understand how accurate it really is. I have been in a relationship for nearly 10 years. 3 months after getting married, I caught him cheating on me. We decided to get divorced, but I ended up staying and giving him another chance because I found out I was pregnant. At that point he completely got the upper hand and i became extremely submissive... He treated me poorly for years... he would cheat, be verbally abusive, and threaten me into doing what he wanted. I let him walk all over me and would always forgive and bend to his will. I was a stay at home mom to our 3 children for most of the last 6 years and about a year ago, I went back to work. I stopped being isolated and gained some confidence. I got a new friend that I just felt like i was destined to meet and because he was a male, my husband flipped out. This is when I put my foot down and told him he’s no longer going to tell me what to do or tell me who I can socialize with. He did not like this and spent months in a manipulative and toxic spiral, trying to regain control of me, all while bringing in other women. We’ve been discussing divorce for the past 8 months and I’ve kinda just stayed because I don’t have anywhere to go where I can bring my kids with me, but at the same time I’m not dealing with his games anymore. I just fell completely out of love and there’s no going back and he knows this. He’s constantly saying he’ll do anything to get me back, but at the same time, he’s dating other people and it’s just laughable. Recently I told him, there is no longer a middle and there is no going back. I told him we’re getting divorced and there’s nothing he can do to change my mind. He’s freaking out because he’s losing everything and he finally realized that he treated me poorly and took me for granted, but it’s too little too late.
