  • Relic of Lyhr testing in golem room.
I gotta say, I really enjoy the idea of stretching my legs as a tank and actually absorbing damage from allies. Will be raiding with this in my static very soon.
I will still be using Karakosa in pugs; it's an incredible relic and doesn't carry the risk of eating someone else's failed mechanic.
Just for comparison though, my record for a Karakosa extreme dmg run is an afk alt with 1690 armor and that rotation was even more strict imo. Lyhr still has wiggle room for errors (there are several in this run) at 1000 armor.
Build - Optimized for 100% boon duration with cheap food (~72 wasted concentration with asc heal food)

Log - Unfortunately, logs are weird with golem damage runs and often get corrupted time values and cannot be parsed. I got 3 successful runs in this session and only the first log was parsable, and I was still working out the rotation so the boons are not perfect.

Does armor mitigation factor into the damge recieved by the Relic user?

Hi, sorry for the late reply. Yes, but only once. The dmg the healer is taking when all buffs are active is 884 and 442. 884 is the arena directly hitting the healer and 442 is the relic dmg which is exactly half. So due to the relic the healer is taking exactly half what it would have taken if it took the hit intended for the ally. The relic splits RAW incoming dmg to the ally and sends half to the relic user and half to the shielded ally. Then each packet of dmg is mitigated by each character's own armor/buffs.
