After 20+ years of their career, Silverstein is one of the few remaining bands, which: 1) still exists without ever breaking up 2) hasn’t gone into pop sound (yes, Silverstein is not exactly the same band as it used to be, but name one band, which hasn’t changed completely over 20+ years of its course. I bet that you’ll not find any bands, which have stayed exactly the same throughout their careers) 3) has most of its original line up 4) still has amazing live performances These are the reasons why Silverstein is still my favorite (number one) band. I’m extremely tired of seeing complaints about their newest albums starting from A Beautiful Place to Drown. YOU CAN’T EXPECT THE BAND TO WRITE SONGS/ALBUMS IN THE SAME STYLE AS THEY’VE BEGUN 20+ YEARS AGO FOREVER! THEY WANTED TO TRY SOMETHING NEW AND YOU CAN’T BLAME THEM FOR THAT! To be honest, I’m surprised that Silverstein hasn’t decided to try something new for 20 years. JUST PLEASE LET SILVERSTEIN TO BE WHAT THEY WANT TO DO WITH THEIR MUSIC! What the hell is wrong with views? I'm not a long time fan of Silverstein, I discovered them a couple of years ago and I want to say that this is one of the best albums of recent years in the whole music industry!!! I think promotion is a problem and this label... This album needs much more views and listeners! And Silverstein, please never stop making music! World need bands like Silverstein!

really catchy, poppy but not too light. i like this one quite a bit on first listen! nice that the band keeps rolling - i still remember buying discovering the waterfront when i was 12 as the first non compilation album i ever got with my own money.
I feel as if this is every lyric lyric Shane/Silverstein has ever written summed up in Layman's terms behind butt rock/radio rock and the screams don't even save it. It's still good music, but built for people that are not familiar with the path that Silverstein has carved out over their impressive 20+ year career as a band. I'll still rock it, though. Their entire catalog is so good that it's really hard to rag on this song specifically, but the other songs released from this album so far have been more along lines of what long time listeners like myself are thankful for. (Maybe that's just me lol) That being said, Misery Made Me will be a part of a catalog of music from a band that will go down in history as a staple of the emo/screamo/post hardcore/rock genre that helped shaped a generation of music lovers. I can't wait to hear the album from start to finish let alone see them live once again. Much love to all
