KDK Typhoon 16" Desk/Wall Fan

Here's my KDK Typhoon fan, model WB 40L. My dad bought this fan for me for Rp. 700.000, or about $65. This fan is the newest KDK Typhoon version, which is in silver colour. The older ones have their blades painted grey, while mine, is just clear coated.
I've been using this fan a lot since i got it. It's a quiet fan, but it moves a ton of air. This fan is also available under Panasonic's brand, called Panasonic Crossover, which are far less common then the KDK ones. But there is a thing i hate about this fan, and other modern KDKs. What i hate from modern KDKs is that the 5 way mechanism aren't centered, and are very hard to adjust. Other than that, it's a nicely made fan.

I never noticed that the blades were what appears to be raw aluminium, unlike with their metal blade wall and stand fans sold in Singapore where the blade is evenly painted, but I think the blade is still balanced.

The blades are indeed stamped aluminum, with no sort of paint whatsoever. The first gen Typhoon had grey painted blades, but no chrome on the badge. I guess they cheaped out on the 2nd gen as these are a bit of a sales flop. And no, the blades aren't perfectly balanced.
