    I already had a fair amount of bayld when I hit 99, and if you're in the same position, you can jump right into 119 gear by buying it from 1 of the coalitions. You can instantly be 119 as soon as you level (I was holding it in advance).
    I'm working on the Adoulin KIs right now though, so I'll probably check out that guide you said you linked.

    Thanks for the video. I stopped playing 4 months ago wishing i would have seen this video. Once i achieved lvl99 no one really helped me and i was only told to solo stuff that i obviously didnt stand a chance with. Wouldnt mind going back and doing the extra stuff

    You can also get 119 gear using Bayld. It's better than spark gear and then I would do ambuscade next.
    You can get a full suit of ambuscade gear easily just using all 119 bayld gear

      this! all you can do with sparks i117 gear is throw it away, so it's really frustrating to waste what a new player will find to be a good little bit of teleport and food money. players should be turning in ~10 copper voucher for Bayld and buying Gourney +1, Schneddick +1 or Weatherspoon +1 from the Mithra NPC right beside that Homestead weapon NPC. this gear is fine for all solo content and good enough to solo early ambuscade.

    Additional Unity benefit i didnt hear you mention (that is huge imo and borderline the best reason)...instant warps to almost anywhere that would take forever the old way to reach
    You can actually get to adoulin at level 1 with sneak and invis and start generation of imprimaturs. Those quests can give you free exp and bayld (you can also exchange that bayld for HP bayld) for doing virtually nothing (warp to a waypoint and back)
    Also should be noted doing the quests to get to escha zitah and escha ru aun give you some nice KIs and a decent place to PL future characters or pay for mercs (thats where a lot seem to go). You have to get to rank 4 for genkais (6 for dynamis) so may as well do these early RoV missions that require rank 3
    But yeah once 99 the stuff you mentioned is all good stuff

    I hit 99 someone power lvled me. I got 119 gear. But i didn't finished some stories. Shall i finish all the story missions first? Or focus on to get much better gear. I'm very new to this game and sometimes i'm getting lost and stuck. I read guides etc but still it's confusing.

      I would recommend that you focus on finishing the Rhapsodies of Vanadiel Missions (which will require you to do some of each of the other expansions). The RoV missions give many bonuses which are very much worth picking up. Once you have done that I would suggest focusing on getting better gear and getting CP to master your job.

    Also...it sucks...but just go knock out the missions. Some great gear and trusts you can pick up from those on top of the CP bonus for completion.

    Returning player here after playing again for a month, I’m stuck and don’t know what’s the next gear I should be working towards. I have all trusts and they are +1. I have all +2 ambu gear. I tried SR solo and failed miserably! Please assist

      Omen for AF+2/Dynamis-[D] for Relic +2(+3 if you have friends who want to kill the 1st wave to have access for +3)

    • @Verthias
      @Verthias 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ambuscade gear is good. You should do all of the missions for the RoE quests and capacity points, upgrade necessary AF/Relic/empy to at least 119(it’s not usually all needed) and work on support classes. Usually endgame linkshells have REMA DDs who are stacked and don’t play support, but they need buffs. You might get better results having more options available. Good Rune Fencers and Geomancers are always in demand, so are Corsairs. I know we can carry cors through just about anything because we low man stuff with Summoners. This will depend on your server and who you have available to help.

    Hey brother returning player here. I've tried to come back numerous times since 2012 when I originally quit but it never stuck. 700+day play time on my account so I was a veteran once upon a time and quit during the last abyssea more or less. I guess at some point I played enough to get a little sparks gear and I have an obscene amount of ancient currency(60 L jades) because I was working on guttler when I quit. This is overwhelming trying to figure out a starting point to focus on and this was very helpful to me. Thank you and I'm glad to see you're still making videos.

    1 thing I wish I had known earlier was to use login campaign points to get a white rahab cap+1 for TH+1 at level 1. As a whm it would’ve probably saved me a ton of time while farming spells.

    Have you ever made a leveling camps guide for 1 to 99?

    • @cloudchiefarcade
      @cloudchiefarcade  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have not and I am not sure I am going to. There is such a wide variety of camps that it would be hard to encompass it all. Also a lot of it comes down to preference. I kind of have my own path that I go and I could easily see a more productive path being presented.
      I may make a video showing the camps and paths I tend to take but if I did make such a video I would make it very clear that people should try out their own camps and that it is just what I do and would greatly encourage them to try their own path for leveling.
