You should hop on the Thinkorswim squawk next week and show us in real-time how well your weighted A/D and quad predict market action. Too easy to look backward and find "confirmation" of how well it works.
ADSPD started to go up from 11 to 12 so looking at it around 11 wouldn't tell us that the bottom might be in... We had to wait until 12 to actually see the divergence which is not really a leading indicator
Loved how you put words on a phenomenon I have experienced many times. The sideways approach towards a trendline... it is like you say it almost never reacts at the trendline when you get that type of PA.

I'd love to hear more about how you set your stops mentally and physically. I sometimes feel like the market watches me set my stop and then just reaches out to stop me out and turns back on trend. I'm getting a persecution complex!!
It's definitely not out to get you. It has no idea you (or I) exist. There is no "they" ... there are only buyers and sellers that have different timeframe outlooks.
@@therealshadowtrader Yes - thanks to your insights I am learning to feather my intraday trades only in the longer time frame direction. I use 5 minute trendlines and fast stochastic crosses for entry and then 1 minute trendlines on the option for exit - works well but I get pushed out often. Thanks for all your education.

To my sight the market is in a clean down-trending channel, which can take another few months to produce a mid-term bottom. As far as the Feb low, it reminds me of a mirror version the big COVID vaccine 3% gap up in Aug 2020. It gets to that target once real hard and quick, only to get there again in a much slower, orderly fashion and then break it.

Leading indicators dont exist. Nobody can see the future.

What trading software is he using?
You can customize TOS watchlist to show %change or %mark. My sectors I use %change, equities use %mark.
Yes but not "% change from open." That's the most important thing I'm talking about in the video.
