Right now I am fasting for the month of Ramadan and this song is truly beautiful to hear. I live near a LDS Church and often come across missionaries from abroad, particullary the US. They are always kind and I truly have so much respect for their dedication to God and how they spread their message. Though I do not believe Jesus (pbuh), son of Mary, is God Himself manifested in flesh. As a Muslim, I believe in Jesus (pbuh) and love him as a prophet of the Lord, the Messiah, and for the message of Truth and Light that he brought through God. I would like to learn more about Christianity and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. As Muslims we do not believe Jesus (pbuh) had to suffer, that blood has to be shed, for God to be able to forgive us. Why would God have to sacrifice Himself in another person to be able to forgive as the Father? Why would the guilty be let go because an Innocent was sacrificed? We believe God saved His beloved Son and Jesus (pbuh) will return at the End of Times. We believe God forgives those who repent out of His love and mercy for us, that He will reward the righteous and punish those who caused wicked. We do not believe in original sin, though Adam and Eve transgressed, they recognised their doing and turned to God in repentance. They will be held accountable for their act, it was part of God's greater Knowledge in accordance to His Plan. We believe a new-born is completly pure and born sinless, how can an innocent baby be born with sin? In life we have been given 'will' as a test, therefore we believe in acccountability and there is no need for sacrifice. No one is perfect, only God is, everyone sins. Having faith and trying to be the best person you can in doing good is what matters. At the end, it is through God's Mercy that we attain Heaven. We believe our only purpose in this life is to worship God. Worship meaning literal worship through reverence and devotion in prayer but also worship in living life according to God's way or path. To try and better yourself and do good in this world. This could be anything from small to large, picking up a piece of trash to helping out a neighbour. I would like to know what the LDS Church teaches about these things and what your beliefs are. I'm 17 years old, not many people I know are religious and my faith is often misunderstood. Though we may have differences in belief, I see Christians as my brothers and sisters in faith as we all call upon the Almighty, the Creator. _''And do not argue with the People of the Scripture (ie. *Hi, I know this comment is long and you will probably not even read this. But I truly hope you do and I hope you are all doing well.* I came across your channel by chance and I'm really glad. Right now I am fasting for the month of Ramadan and this song is truly beautiful to hear. I live near a LDS Church and often come across missionaries from abroad, particullary the US. They are always kind and I truly have so much respect for their dedication to God and how they spread their message.
Though I do not believe Jesus (pbuh), son of Mary, is God Himself manifested in flesh. As a Muslim, I believe in Jesus (pbuh) and love him as a prophet of the Lord, the Messiah, and for the message of Truth and Light that he brought through God. I would like to learn more about Christianity and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. As Muslims we do not believe Jesus (pbuh) had to suffer, that blood has to be shed, for God to be able to forgive us. Why would God have to sacrifice Himself in another person to be able to forgive as the Father? Why would the guilty be let go because an Innocent was sacrificed? We believe God saved His beloved Son and Jesus (pbuh) will return at the End of Times. We believe God forgives those who repent out of His love and mercy for us, that He will reward the righteous and punish those who caused wicked. We do not believe in original sin, though Adam and Eve transgressed, they recognised their doing and turned to God in repentance. They will be held accountable for their act, it was part of God's greater Knowledge in accordance to His Plan. We believe a new-born is completly pure and born sinless, how can an innocent baby be born with sin? In life we have been given 'will' as a test, therefore we believe in acccountability and there is no need for sacrifice. No one is perfect, only God is, everyone sins. Having faith and trying to be the best person you can in doing good is what matters. At the end, it is through God's Mercy that we attain Heaven. We believe our only purpose in this life is to worship God. Worship meaning literal worship through reverence and devotion in prayer but also worship in living life according to God's way or path. To try and better yourself and do good in this world. This could be anything from small to large, picking up a piece of trash to helping out a neighbour. I would like to know what the LDS Church teaches about these things and what your beliefs are. I'm 17 years old, not many people I know are religious and my faith is often misunderstood. Though we may have differences in belief, I see Christians as my brothers and sisters in faith as we all call upon the Almighty, the Creator.
