I keep meaning to tell you that I love the new(ish) color scheme in your background from the clothes and bags. Since you've defined your color palette the background looks even more cohesive. You're probably not a fan of the Longchamp Le Pliage but it's a perfect rainy day bag and could be stored in your car so you could slip whatever bag you're carrying into it if you were to get caught in the rain while out. The Peekaboo raincoat, though...😘
This thumbnail reeled me in. I had the realization the other day that I don't have a pair of everyday sneakers other than my favorite Black running shoes. You have so many bags so you can wear a different bag everyday. They are ALL everyday bags!!
I just realized that I have no beach vacation bags. We go to a nice resort on the beach fairly frequently and I usually take a floating bag for the boat/pool and a $5 target nylon bag. Nothing I have is suitable for possible sunscreen exposure and super fancy dinners. 🤷♀️
There are loads of really nice diverse everyday bags below £100, €100 or $150, so you have to go shopping to get some you really like to have in addition to all your wonderful gorgeous luxury handbags. Have fun!

Dayle, your every day bags are just upscaled! I have recently purchased a black YSL toy tote-It is low key, I can put my sm laptop in it, a water bottle, my bigger make up bag, etc. It can do cross body or hand held. I also carry what ever bag I decide to use. Sometimes I just leave the tote in the car. LOL, I have the samorga liner on order in fuschia pink---for a pop of color! One of this years resolutions is that life is short---wear your closet.
PS, sold my Balenciaga. I know that it would be second hand but the only way to affect a house is through $. I think they push the envelope and I think they went too far. Sell, there is too many options out there!
I really enjoyed this video and laughed so much when i saw the title. Watching this made me think about my own collection and how id answer those categories so I too have just realised i have far too many date night, occasion / impractical bags compared to hardly any practical everyday bags lol x
I love that you mix and change the bags you wear. That means you get use out of each. I haven’t got a Chanel but the 19 could be an everyday bag maybe? My holiday bags are a little boring, an old neverfull bought years ago , and a camera bag from Gucci that does day and night!
At first I wasn't sure what your title meant but I think your bags are perfect for you and lifestyle. Dayle you have beautiful fun bags so although they may not fit into the categories of "everyday" bags I loved your recommendations from what you have and don't have. Lucky you that you don't have to worry about the rain too! For me I don't have to worry about a luxury work bag since I work in a very conservative environment, I commute partially using public transportation and prefer a backpack for the commute. Hahaha oh dear this is what I mean about how I used to just buy the styles and colors that made my heart sing because this is exactly what I found out about my collection that there was nothing that I “wanted” to use as an everyday bag. This is for multiple reasons and I say “want” to use because there are bags that I could use but I don’t “want” to because they cost so much and I don’t want to ruin them etc. I have found that as I get over a bag that’s when I might pull it out and use it daily before moving it on but it doesn’t excite me to use by that stage 🤷🏼♀️
I may be insane but a bagette a flap that side trunk even the peekaboo I'd think of it as an everyday bag. Well i am very much a top handle person... so that could be why... and I don't carry much anymore so a small to medium bag would work as everyday for me.
👸🏼hahaha but i have some bags for occasions that r very specific... a backpack for hiking, a swimming pool bag. A beach bag. A few snow bags. A few rain bags... but i walk and use the subway all the time so will be caught in the rain/ snow any moment. I have been caught in the rain with my kelly. I just put the plastic shopper i carry everywhere ( kusama from the museum btw so counts as lux in my book as well lol ) and then wiped it when i got home... it actually did pretty well so now i am no longer afraid and carry it a lot more. Even the vacheta bags I've been caught in the rain with... as soon as i feel a drop i put them in the shopper and run for safety lol

My speedy 25 damier ebene bandouliere is my absoute everyday bag. Snow, rain, work, date nights, it ticks all the boxes! However, it's going to be 10 years old and I want to give it a break outside of the winter months and rotate it for another version. I got the mini peekaboo sellaria in grey so I am hoping that can be my summer/spring versatile bag. We will see! Thanks for this very good "reflecting on my bags" video

Everyday bag...wow i had a different description for this. I know LV canvas i.e Speedy 25, Graceful PM and even my Odeon PM can be an everyday bag but i do not use it every day simply because i do not use luxury handbag to work to avoid those small talks from my colleagues. I know is none of their business but errr....still not so comfortable. So i had quite a few contemporary brands that will be my everyday bag i.e Longchamp, Coach or my Agnes B, Bucket bag that i also do not need to baby it. Yes, Chanel definitely can't be in any of this category but no doubt some will use Chanel Deauville tote for holiday. For the Gucci, Balenciaga tote turn it around to use it for now. lol. 👸🏻I don’t think of everyday bag when I buy hand bags. If I run errands, I don’t use expensive bags. Apart from that i think all my bags are work bags since I don’t need to bring much. My rainy bag and travel bags are usually Louis Vuitton canvas bags. And this is very fun to watch. Appreciate your honesty. 😄
Dayle you have a bunch of really pretty everyday bags! Because they are everyday for you as they suit your style and your lifestyle. I like to differentiate my bags by “delicate”and “carefree”. My grab and go when I don’t want to have to be careful are usually a hearty leather or canvas with no vachetta. I have several of those and they get a bit more use because I have fewer of those, but most of my bags are of the beautiful, more delicate, make my heart skip a beat variety. I was thinking a few days ago that maybe I should start buying more of the carefree ones since I use them more often, but they dont bring me the joy when I look at them or use them that the pretty ones do. So I’ll just keep buying what speaks to me. I consider your tan Chanel crossbody practical, your totes (as they are your everyday bags for work) are practical as well. I also thought your Prada reedition that you sold was a practical bag. You will have so much fun looking for a couple ones. I think a video with all the contenders would be so fun!

I know what you mean - the bags I find most beautiful (and buy) tend to have something unique about them which is why I like them, but they aren’t everyday bags. I finally (just yesterday) bought a lux everyday bag that is practical but not to-die-for beautiful, a lv cruiser gm in black leather.
The baguette or the Peekaboo could be an everyday bag. You can buy an Aspinal or Mulberry for an everyday bag. I like the Carryall in the Empriente not the canvas. You can get a monogram strap for the Favorite bag.
I’m struggling with an everyday bag and I’m thinking about YSL med Niki crinkled gloss leather all black. Can be worn on the shoulder or crossbody. Caitlin has one and she’s very happy with it .
Hilarious title and great video! I drool every time I see your wicker Gucci. I think the Chanel Reissue 227 is the perfect everyday bag - fits a ton, easy in and out, can be worn several ways including crossbody, and shw keeps it more casual.

@@DaylesAddiction Lululemon nylon bumbag worn crossbody. It's extremely casual and not the most attractive, but it works. I have them in multiple colors. For a more professional setting, Louis Vuitton epi leather works well in the rain. For an evening out, my husbands pockets 😂

But if you need inspiration - I just bought the LV Keepall XS in reverse monogram and it’s a great everyday bag. No vachetta to worry about, carefree, fits all daily essentials and being black, goes with just every outfit.
RE:Balenciaga. Girl that money is spent. Wear it. That Vuitton looks choice tho. You need a LePliage in a mad colour to drop your chosen bag in to protect it from the rain and to use for holiday.

Hi Dayle 👋! I think the daily bag is a difficult objective to achieve. Mainly, because it needs to be a everything bag. You and I both know this is impossible. How to transcend work, play, outings and parenthood (or pooch duties). It needs to functional, aesthetic and define your style. As a ‘new member’ of the luxury sisterhood- I have discovered a quandary. My Chanel Diana bag defines my style, is aesthetic but it doesn’t give me functionality in every instance (despite being crossbody). What do I do next? I’m now oddly looking for a camera bag that ‘does it all’ casually. Rookie error?!? 🤷♀️

Hi lovely Dayle from the future!! As you know, I'm a big fan of your bags and their different appeal! Daily use is an abstraction, right? We know what it means, but it really varies from person to person. I thing I love your bags so much because mine are excessively "every day" oriented. I keep buying the same bag: another big beast to carry all the things I need for work. I know, boooring. I love a million different bags (the moment you realize you're not exaggerating 😂), but they wouldn't fit my lifestyle, and I'm happy to admire them on other people. I know I'm lacking options on other areas, but every time I find myself looking for a new one, I end up getting what I love (and isn't that the all point?). I find your Balenciaga tote amazing, I don't have it because I couldn't find it in store at the time. I'm sure my opinion is not a particularly popular one, however this tote is part of a Gucci initiative to celebrate the brand's 100th anniversary. Balenciaga, belonging to the same corporation, was the chosen partner to "hack", which made sense, since both Gucci and Balenciaga were always on the top three most sold brands of the last years. So, why punish Gucci? Even if the BB is on the bag, it's still a Gucci anniversary piece. On the other hand, we're talking about the brand created by the fashion genius Cristobál Balenciaga. I haven't been a fan of the creative direction for years, but I certainly differentiate the brand itself from the people managing it. Demand more/better, get rid of them, not the brand. If people can live with the likes of Dolce&Gabbana, Alexander Wang, John Galliano, and so many others... be consistent. I know, wrote too much again (sorry!), but these topics are inspiring, it's nice when we get the think about this stuff.

I had it for a long time and abused it to death 😭 Always knew I would get another one. I'm still deciding on the color, but it'll be my next purchase. Top of the wishlist: the large Fendi Peekaboo (I love that bag SO much!), the Chanel Maxi flap and the Chanel Deauville tote in the all black version... Big, soft, perfect bags with a touch of rock'n'roll 😂😍 There are others, but these three seem to be always on my mind now!

I carry a black medium Fendi Peekaboo, a medium black Fendi First or a black Chanel Medallion Tote as my everyday bags and I love them ALL 🖤🖤🖤 I have loads of fun, colourful and whimsical bags to go out with or take on vacation but these are my classic workhorse bags😎 For a rainy day I’ll only use a longchamp tote and try not to be sad🤣

Hi I don't know if you have heard of jw pei bags they have one style in particular I really like for everyday it's the eva bag but it is only a shoulder bag but you have the option of adding your own cross-body strap They use vegan leather I personally have some designer bags like prada and gucci but I also have started looking into less expensive but good quality brands I love jw pei eva bags I have 3 of them and I will be adding another one they are very roomy and the quality is amazing especially for the low price u pay and they are durable there are lots of reviews on TH-cam you can check out also they come very nicely presented please check them out Maybe Order one if your interested And see if you like the bags I definitely would recommend the brand especially the jw pei eva bag Also since I have received my bags I've not switched out to my high end designer bags they are so care free and look great I just want to use them all the time😊💖
If you don’t do the same things every day then I don’t think you need an ‘everyday’ bag. I choose my bags depending on what I’m wearing, where I’m going that day, the weather, how am I travelling etc., so it’s always different, though mine are not particularly delicate. The Gucci monogram is a perfect shade though, hardwearing and suits most outfits. It’s such a shame - but understandable - you feel you can’t wear the Hacker Project version and that particular monogram was really well done.
The Neverfull in Damier Ebene would work for 1.-3. for me (and even for 5. - if it‘s about the travel aspect)🤔😂 but I‘ll try to come up with some more variety for my video. Thank you for the tag 🏷️💕

I think most people who see that tote would not realise it’s a collab - it’s Gucci DNA shines through. Balenciaga and Gucci are both Kering Group companies, though it’s true Balenciaga is under a darker cloud than other Kering Group companies right now. 👸🏻

👸🏼hahaha but i have some bags for occasions that r very specific... a backpack for hiking, a swimming pool bag. A beach bag. A few snow bags. A few rain bags... but i walk and use the subway all the time so will be caught in the rain/ snow any moment. I have been caught in the rain with my kelly. I just put the plastic shopper i carry everywhere ( kusama from the museum btw so counts as lux in my book as well lol ) and then wiped it when i got home... it actually did pretty well so now i am no longer afraid and carry it a lot more. Even the vacheta bags I've been caught in the rain with... as soon as i feel a drop i put them in the shopper and run for safety lol

My speedy 25 damier ebene bandouliere is my absoute everyday bag. Snow, rain, work, date nights, it ticks all the boxes! However, it's going to be 10 years old and I want to give it a break outside of the winter months and rotate it for another version. Everyday bag...wow i had a different description for this. I know LV canvas i.e Speedy 25, Graceful PM and even my Odeon PM can be an everyday bag but i do not use it every day simply because i do not use luxury handbag to work to avoid those small talks from my colleagues. I know is none of their business but errr....still not so comfortable. So i had quite a few contemporary brands that will be my everyday bag i.e Longchamp, Coach or my Agnes B, Bucket bag that i also do not need to baby it. Yes, Chanel definitely can't be in any of this category but no doubt some will use Chanel Deauville tote for holiday. For the Gucci, Balenciaga tote turn it around to use it for now. lol. 👸🏻I don’t think of everyday bag when I buy hand bags. If I run errands, I don’t use expensive bags. Apart from that i think all my bags are work bags since I don’t need to bring much. My rainy bag and travel bags are usually Louis Vuitton canvas bags. And this is very fun to watch. Appreciate your honesty. 😄

Dayle you have a bunch of really pretty everyday bags! Because they are everyday for you as they suit your style and your lifestyle. I like to differentiate my bags by “delicate”and “carefree”. My grab and go when I don’t want to have to be careful are usually a hearty leather or canvas with no vachetta. I have several of those and they get a bit more use because I have fewer of those, but most of my bags are of the beautiful, more delicate, make my heart skip a beat variety. I was thinking a few days ago that maybe I should start buying more of the carefree ones since I use them more often, but they dont bring me the joy when I look at them or use them that the pretty ones do. So I’ll just keep buying what speaks to me. I consider your tan Chanel crossbody practical, your totes (as they are your everyday bags for work) are practical as well. I also thought your Prada reedition that you sold was a practical bag. You will have so much fun looking for a couple ones. I think a video with all the contenders would be so fun!

I had a reissue cut I think it was the wrong size as I couldn’t crossbody it was a small size. Maybe I should take another look!

@@DaylesAddiction Lululemon nylon bumbag worn crossbody. It's extremely casual and not the most attractive, but it works. I have them in multiple colors. For a more professional setting, Louis Vuitton epi leather works well in the rain. For an evening out, my husbands pockets 😂

I think the daily bag is a difficult objective to achieve. Mainly, because it needs to be a everything bag. You and I both know this is impossible. How to transcend work, play, outings and parenthood (or pooch duties). It needs to functional, aesthetic and define your style.
As a ‘new member’ of the luxury sisterhood- I have discovered a quandary. My Chanel Diana bag defines my style, is aesthetic but it doesn’t give me functionality in every instance (despite being crossbody).
What do I do next? I’m now oddly looking for a camera bag that ‘does it all’ casually.

Hi lovely Dayle from the future!! As you know, I'm a big fan of your bags and their different appeal! Daily use is an abstraction, right? We know what it means, but it really varies from person to person. I thing I love your bags so much because mine are excessively "every day" oriented. I keep buying the same bag: another big beast to carry all the things I need for work. I know, boooring. I love a million different bags (the moment you realize you're not exaggerating 😂), but they wouldn't fit my lifestyle, and I'm happy to admire them on other people. I know I'm lacking options on other areas, but every time I find myself looking for a new one, I end up getting what I love (and isn't that the all point?). I find your Balenciaga tote amazing, I don't have it because I couldn't find it in store at the time. I'm sure my opinion is not a particularly popular one, however this tote is part of a Gucci initiative to celebrate the brand's 100th anniversary. Balenciaga, belonging to the same corporation, was the chosen partner to "hack", which made sense, since both Gucci and Balenciaga were always on the top three most sold brands of the last years. So, why punish Gucci? Even if the BB is on the bag, it's still a Gucci anniversary piece. On the other hand, we're talking about the brand created by the fashion genius Cristobál Balenciaga. I haven't been a fan of the creative direction for years, but I certainly differentiate the brand itself from the people managing it. Demand more/better, get rid of them, not the brand. If people can live with the likes of Dolce&Gabbana, Alexander Wang, John Galliano, and so many others... be consistent. I know, wrote too much again (sorry!), but these topics are inspiring, it's nice when we get the think about this stuff.

I had it for a long time and abused it to death 😭 Always knew I would get another one. I'm still deciding on the color, but it'll be my next purchase. Top of the wishlist: the large Fendi Peekaboo (I love that bag SO much!), the Chanel Maxi flap and the Chanel Deauville tote in the all black version... Big, soft, perfect bags with a touch of rock'n'roll 😂😍 There are others, but these three seem to be always on my mind now!

All my luxury bags are boring compared to yours, not really what I would say are fun but I love them all. I don't get to go out like I used to so my needs have changed over the last quite a few years. I do have some mid range luxury bags but I can't remember when I ever wore one. I always pick a high end one when going out and most of my outings at the moment are going doctors/specialist/ surgeons. Hi I don't know if you have heard of jw pei bags they have one style in particular I really like for everyday it's the eva bag but it is only a shoulder bag but you have the option of adding your own cross-body strap
They use vegan leather I personally have some designer bags like prada and gucci but I also have started looking into less expensive but good quality brands
I love jw pei eva bags I have 3 of them and I will be adding another one they are very roomy and the quality is amazing especially for the low price u pay and they are durable there are lots of reviews on TH-cam you can check out also they come very nicely presented

If you don’t do the same things every day then I don’t think you need an ‘everyday’ bag. I choose my bags depending on what I’m wearing, where I’m going that day, the weather, how am I travelling etc., so it’s always different, though mine are not particularly delicate. The Gucci monogram is a perfect shade though, hardwearing and suits most outfits. It’s such a shame - but understandable - you feel you can’t wear the Hacker Project version and that particular monogram was really well done.
