Been working on them for 20 years now, looks quite detailed despite some minor details are missing or bugged visually. Looking forward to try it out in msfs
Beautiful video great images it looks real thank you for this discovery of the cl 415 what a great plane and I am excited to fly with the canadair who saved my house in south of france when I was young
@@Belatu42 Probably the H225. Skycrane, Cessna 400, Draco X and PC-24 are others I’m really looking forward to depending on the type of flying I want to do.
I’m personally looking forward to the career mode. The certification process is going to be representative even though reality is much deeper. The sense of achievement will be cool, so I don’t understand the pushback on it. You can free flight all you want.
@@stefanblackadder5236 I understand the pushback. Hardcore simmers want to be able to set up their own fires to fight, fields to spray or loads to slings in free flight. Without having to complete a training or certification, or use an economy system. Asobo would have to build a mission editor to use in free flight.
@@Belatu42 fair enough. But ya can’t have everything. The mission editor I bet will come. I don’t have enough time left in my life to do the 3 million missions that are already going to be in the sim. I guess I’m all about less bitching and more flying. I’m on Xbox series X so I have a lot to bitch about. I’m happy if the sim works at all. I’m also happy I didn’t get the 707 haha.
@@stefanblackadder5236 I’m on PC. Xbox is interesting, but I fly mostly helicopters and it just doesn’t support enough peripherals. I agree, I prefer to fly more and complain less :)
The H225 Looks spectacular! I have the H160 from HPG and it is fantastic! I'm sure the H225 will be just as good if not better quality, plus with working features like the hoist!
Great video, im so looking forward to flying helicopters and bushplanes in msfs 2024 with the new psychics modelling. Did you preorder the standard version, i have msfs 2020 premium deluxe, and I'm not sure if i order the 2024 standard version. Does it upgrade to deluxe as i have that at present in 2020.
Thanks! 2024 is an entirely new product so I don’t think your 2020 version would upgrade the 2024 version… You could always ask on the official forums forums.flightsimulator.com/
@@rckt83520 thanks! There may be, but there isn’t a manual available right now to know what they would be bound to. I haven’t been able to work them with a button on my hardware yet.
it will appear in your 2020 content manager. It can take up to 48 hours. If you have issues, go to the MSFS forums forums.flightsimulator.com/t/missing-de-havilland-canada-cl-415-after-preordering-msfs2024/657006
I have preordered on Steam and after 48 hours still nothing. do you think the weekend has something to do with it? did you preorder on steam? weekend or normal weekday?

That’s great! I can’t wait to hear what you think. I’m excited to explore the CL-415 in the new sim with the walk around features
Really LF to this one! I hope all of the other new aircraft are as well done as this one. Great video!
@@Gulf76 Thanks! It really showcases the possibilities of the new sim and gives a lot to look forward to for sure!

@@herveferlin6229 Thanks! It’s a lot of fun to fly the Pelican!
This thing is pretty fun to fly. I counted 17 NEW aircraft in msfs2024 I’m excited to try 😅⏳ Not sure how I’ll find the time, but I’ll try!
Which one is at the top of the list?

I agree! The new helicopters are really rounding out the fleet. I'm hoping we can do sling load training in the R66...

Pelican is the French call sign for the CL-145
I’m pretty sure Pelican is also the official name given by the designers :)

I thought one gets the Fs2020 version too, when one pre orders FS2024.
I did order FS2024 yesterday, but I have no Canadair 415 in FS2020.

I ordered on the Microsoft store. I think it was a Thursday :)
How long did it take after pre order to get the CL-145 in MSFS2020?
It showed up in the content manager about 1-1/2 days after I preordered
12 hours here.
