Hey I got a question: For quiet recording purposes in the studio, can you use the head without a bass cab/speaker load connected, like only with de DI plugged in the back of the amp, (basically like you would use a normal DI going into a MIC IN of a studio preamp)? Then you listen to the signal with headphone but you have the tone of a tube head with treble and bass etc... going direct. I worry you might always need a cab working so no silent recording... Thanks :)
@@jreid641check out the positive (unsolicited) reviews on talkbass forum, and imagine trying to keep up with Brendan McCanty playing drums…I think the sweetwater review guy was either playing stadiums (in which case maybe use another cab) or there was something else going on.
How do you expect to sell it if you don't show good demos of it? Same as the milkman half & half, but at least the milkman has some shitty demos around to listen more close to how it sounds What I shame, I would have bought it
Hey Carlos, we can’t meet the demand for them FYI. Even if we could, I am of the opinion that good bass amp demos cannot exist on TH-cam. I much prefer people buy them after trying them in person for that very reason, rather than listen to demos online. The demos don’t exist, but not for lack of caring. Hope that makes sense.
Well I'm in Mexico, I tried to look for one to try it, but I'm not able to, It would be cool to get at least an idea of what this little cool amp can do, but at the moment I'm clueless, hope you get you orders fulfilled 🫶

Ummm ok. You are selling a bass amp and do a video with guitar and drum higher in the mix than the bass... Maybe do it with the BASS being the predominant sound?
Yeah I think if I really wanted it sell an amp I'd do more than a few seconds. Maybe like 5 minutes of various settings. Nobody wants a painfully long video but give us something useful. Just my opinion but I definitely didn't hear enough to even consider buying anything. Seems like you're trying to hide it more than promote it
Dude, chill. The bass was as high in the mix as it should be in an actual mix. That is exactly how it should be demoed, as opposed to unrealistically boosting the bass. And I'm sure there will be other demos, if you really need to hear more.

YES! works great for direct recording without a cabinet...high quality transformer di after all the tubes and tone controls.
Which brand of bass is Joe playing in this video?
Bass amp sounds good here. Review on sweetwater site says it doesn’t get loud enough to use with a band. Its only doing 175w into the one 15”.
@@jreid641 someone should tell that to all the bands using them I guess? It’s extremely loud even at 175 watts.

@@BensonAmps could have been. He said that when it started to get loud enough, it was too much distortion. Maybe it's operator malfunction?

You can hear the bass by itself in the beginning of the song, and then later in the mix, in context.

Yep, and every time the music is ducked for the voiceovers all that's audible is the guitar.
Sad, a class D amp.
We used to make a 260 watt all tube bass head, realized it's a bad idea with today's big bottle tubes (fail). Plenty of SVTs around for tube purists.
