Two Games In Two Days!

- I was named medical-sub leading into a massive Friday Night clash vs Melbourne Demons at the Gabba. The dees showed why they won last years premership beating us by 58 points. I got on the ground in the last quarter, and I want to say I love the Lions fans, I could hear the cheers as I came on and kicked a goal.
I was given the option if I wanted to play Saturday in the VFL against the undefeated Casey Demons (Melbournes reserves) and we ended up winning in a hard fought game. Securing a top 2 spot leading into the finals, finishing the game with 42 disposals.
Golf has been a massive outlet for me mentally whilst going through a tough year with footy. Hope you enjoy the vlog, time to rest before we play finals footy for the 4th year in a row.

Yeah, Mitch always played like that at Carlton too.
He was the sub. He was purely playing for next week. Which will probably be his last AFL game.
Mate he was the sub of course he is going to hve fresh legs and run harder than most but he was the only lions bloke that was putting in 110% which is what robbo does week in week out and that’s why he is one of my favourite players in the AFL he always gives it his best whether it’s the 1st bounce or the end of a game no matter how gassed he is
Mitch came on during the last quarter of Brisbane vs Melbourne; during this period, Brisbane goes on to outscore the Demons 21 (3.3) - 9 (1.3). I'm not specifically outlining Mitch as the X-factor last Friday but he brought real intensity and aggression to the Demons, even scoring a Goal. The fact that he then backed up for the VFL game with 42 disposals shows his "elite-ness" . You deserve to be back in the team, especially against a red-hot Richmond side. All the best Mitch, hopefully we see you in the side more consistently come finals this fortnight. 🔥🦁

Robbo, I can kick a sloppy 30 metres and have never played a game of footy in my life. My fitness is also mediocre at best, and I'm 165cm. Is it realistic at 22 years old to start playing footy, or would I be better off playing a sport that's not so dependent on physique and fitness?

Travelled up from Melbourne for my second ever game at the Gabba. Hurt to watch. So happy to see you come on and actually put in effort. Would of been easy to just do the required and get through the game.

How big is the stress heading into the finals compared to a normal game?
Lions need to turn Hipwood into a backman, his a spud up forward.
They need to delist him... can't kick a goal 20metres directly in front.
