nahh yall overthink this kinda stuff,,,, idols nowadays arent as fake as they used to be back in the day when maintaining an idol image could make or break your career. honesty is appreciated, especially from a variety point of view. NCT are quite open, especially yuta, doyoung and renjun so I'm gonna trust my gut and say their personalities are similar to what we deduce
@@JolieGirl2002 it's not about being fake it's about how we don't see every part of their personality, even when they aren't intentionally hiding it. we can't see them 24/7 so it's reasonable that we don't know completely their personality, an example is stays being surprised at members we thought were introverted getting extroverted results

It can be hard to read if someone is an introvert who’s being more open or if they’re an extrovert. For example, Han Jisung of Stray Kids seemed like an extrovert but it turns out he’s an introvert (ISTP) who’s very comfortable and open with his members. It can be surprising to find out who’s actually an introvert.
i think people are confusing what is or isn’t an extrovert or introvert. introverts are not closed off, extroverts are not overly open. extroverts simply get their energy from being around others and thrive in long lasting group environments. introverts need to build that energy up, are more likely to be the first few to leave a gathering or sit by themselves because they just need some time to regroup. introverts can be talkative and outgoing and friendly as anyone else, extroverts can be quiet and reserved. it’s all about how they get their energy, from people or on their own.

Jaemin is not an extrovert, he is an ambivert, he only seems extroverted towards fans but when he’s in the dorms he’s usually quiet and doesn’t talk and uses this time to recharge!
Ambiverts are not a thing in the MBTI world. If he recharges by being alone, then he is an introvert with a developed Fe/Se. But how sure are you that he recharges by being alone? Did he say that he prefers being alone after a lot of interaction?
To be honest, I also didnt think he was an extravert but i dont know that much about him to support why i think he might not be an introvert. He reminds me of exo Chen in that regard, he is loud and bibbly but also seems to prefer being alone outside exo schedules and isnt as talkative as he appears too. Both have been typed as ENTP and i can see the ENTP traits in them. I think they either have a developed extraverted feeling (Fe) or are mistyped. But ENTPs have introverted thinking (Ti) as a second function and Fe as a third function.
ENTPs have dominant Ne which explains why they may prefer being alone at times. So i think they are typed correctly.

For me Renjun is ISFJ, his Si is on spot. And Fe.
Jeno ISTP, Ti dom with well developed Fe.
Chenle ESTP, Se dom with Ti aux playful, quick to adapt, and kind.

I personally can see Jaemin as an ENTP with a developed Fe. His I can also see the NeTi. I've always seen him as a logical thinker and he is calculated in the way he approaches being an idol. He is also a person who is open to many possibilities and thinks far into the future. He already manages his finances well for the future. He also can play devil's advocate when he wants to stir things up a bit and likes to engage in debates or rather complaining about the illogical things his fellow members do, namely Jisung. lolRenjun to me is an ISFP - He has an individualistic way of thinking and is true to his own personal values despite how it impact others which is a big indicator of Fi rather than Fe. Fe dom individuals make decisions, taking into consideration how it will affect others more and Fi doms make decisions based on how true it is to who they are - We can see that in his iconic responses when asked about which hyungs he wants to take after, his answers are that he doesn't want to follow in any hyung's foot steps but he wants to be himself. He was also not fazed by the fact that his hyungs were possibly watching. He also said it infron of Taeyong and the other older members one time. Another type that is Fi dom is INFP and I have considered him being potentially an INFP too but it doesn't quiet fit him, I think Jisung leans more on being an INFP than Renjun. INFPs are very idealistic and have a burden of wanting to change the world for the better some way of the other but I don't see that in Renjun. He and Jisung's interest and conversations about the galaxy make me wonder about Renjun possibly being an intuitive than a sensor but the Ni in ISFP can be responsible for that side of him. But looking at other INFPs that i know, Jisung is more similar to them than Renjun.I'm not sure about Jeno, he could be an ISTJ as per OP. He seems to be more well behaved to be an ISTP. By that I mean, he seems too responsible and happy to do the "right" thing as opposed to questioning authority and established systems. I am an ISTP and to me, he seems like an ISTJ. lolI'm not sure about Chenle either, I haven't watched him closely enough. He could be an ESTP, he seems grounded in reality like most sensors.
@@cooljesuschickita08 I like your analysis. For me, I can see Renjun as an ISFJ because he prefers the truth but not sure it come from Fi or Ti. He likes to say something from his mind and direct to the piont. I have ISFJ friends they're very similar to him. When they talk, open their mind and share idea. Also they really interested in theory. I had conversation with them, they answered directly no matter how hard and even it was a personal question.
And they always have the worry looks, afraid of doing something wrong lol.
For Jeno, I like your point that he can be an ISTJ. At first I think he's an ISTP because TiSe when he do physical activity and fast to learn about things. But you're an ISTP so, it make sense that you know about your type more than me lol. And yeah he can be ISTJ.
Why I think Chenle is an ESTP. Because his ability to adapt and fast thinking. But in this video mentioned that he's an ENFJ and I disagree lol. He wasn't the person who came to comfort Jisung when he cried in dream show. And he's competitive and blunt sometimes.
When Jisung asked him "if that person doesn't want your gift what will you do?" Chenle paused and thought then said "I don't know" lol.
For Jisung I'm still not sure about him. lol
And for Jaemin if looking at Fi blind. I don't know if he ever mention something likes 'the past moment that embarrassed him' if he's an ENTP. Or maybe he doesn't want to talk because it's internal value and it's in his mind. 🤔

Jaemin is NOT an extrovert, he just feels comfortable enough to demonstrate his personality close to DREAM. The boys have already said that when he gets home, he seems to hang up as calm and quiet as it gets. And we can see in interviews and programs, how quiet and a little isolated he is, he himself says that he has no friends other than NCT. Even with his hyungs he becomes an introvert.

I think he is extrovert since he is really good with adjusting/getting comfortable to new people and can tolerate them as well. He seem to be really good with dealing with people although he might be shy but he can warm up if necessary.

Yes, I think typing someone is very hard so, he can be ENFP, ENFJ, or ENTP.
BUT I have to mention about Cognitive Function for MBTI (MBTI was developed from Cognitive Function) and it's more effective to use typing people.
*ENFPs care about their own feeling and internal value but less than INFP and ISFP. Because they have Fi (introverted feeling)
*ENFJs care about other feeling and value. Because they have Fe (extraverted feeling)
ENFPs are more cheerful, creative, and playful than ENFJs.
ENFJs are more calm, organized, and practical than ENFPs.
(My opinion I think Chenle is Thinker (he's not ENFJ). His personality is like ESTP, competitive, kind, and playful and he loves sport 😁)
And go back to the ENTPs, they're not good at feeling stuff but they can if they really really really care. For example of The famous ENTP character is Tony Stark.

this just appeared in my tl and i can see how a lot of people thought jaemin is an extrovert when in fact, he’s an introvert. from the video, he was ENTP but when he took it himself recently, he was an ISFJ. a lot of fans tend to overlook how he’s quiet in some vlives and just watches the others talk. in an interview, he said he wants to travel alone. he also likes having alone time. i think most of you thought he’s an extrovert because that’s what he wanted us to see him. that he’s energetic and always happy but in reality he’s a completely different person.

I think in a sense I'm really similar to Jaemin. He's not necessarily into socializing (not very open to a lot of people) but is good with adjusting/tolerating people.

Okay hear me out: Renjun feels soooo much like an INFJ. This guess is inspired by the dreamies actually taking the MBTI test and sharing their results on Lysn, where Renjun was the only one who frickin refused to take it, saying "I dont need to take the test to know who I am."
He always struck me as extremely self-assured and independent. Interestingly, INFJs are also almost always Enneagram Type 4s (aka Individualists). I also saw a comment by @renjun's bread in this comment section saying that in arena homme interview, renjun revealed actually did take the test but it’s just for himself to know and that renjun also said “i would like to be seen as i am.” We ironically can't confirm if he's INFJ/Type 4 bc he seems to be such a frickin INFJ/Type 4 individualist that he didn't reveal his result. It's worth noting that Enneagram Type 4s, their ultimate goal is for the world to recognize and appreciate their wholly unique identity. If that ain't Renjun....
But I can think of so many other examples of this kind of attitude: for example, when an interviewer asked what SM artist he wanted to live like, he said "I want to live as myself." When on Weekly Idol the MCs ask who he looks like, expecting a celebrity, he says his own mom and dad lmaooo. With nct 2018, in the clip in this vid 0:40 they asked which hyung do they follow, taeyong and winwin answer the question conventionally, then Renjun straight up says "I don't follow anyone."
INFJs are creative (we all know he loves art) and sensitive and strong sense of uniqueness and personal integrity. They feel things deeply and have a rich inner life (in Renjun's Boy video, Jisung says he's emotional and Jeno says he has many many many thoughts, always thinking). They're deep -- Renjun and Jisung are known to have while conversations about like cosmic things and everyone else can't be bothered to stay in the conversation. Which makes sense since Jisung is an INFP, which is notoriously hard to disentangle from INFJ bc they can be very similar. They initially appear gentle and reserved and calm, and can be hard to get to know (we all know it took a while for him to feel comfy and open up). They are empatheic and care deeply about their loved ones and are sometimes called protectors and loath violation of personal boundaries/values (the way Renjun readily blocks hate on vlive and will grab Jeno's phone to block or respond to a ssng, and he will get really visibly upset even if it's not directed at him).
I'm no expert but I really wanted to guess his type so I did some research. Let me know what you think! Do you agree?
Renjun is more of an INxP (either INTP or INFP). I suggest you look up cognitive functions!
His creativity comes from his auxiliary Ne (both in INTPs and INFPs). He is rather Fi or Ti than Fe, because Fe would be more concerned with social conventions (an INxP is more likely to say "I don't follow anyone"). Fi is very individualistic and in touch with their inner worlds, while Ti is also quite individualistic (but more in a detached, aloof way) and has its own inner logical system, so Fi and Ti might be confusing sometimes, but he is definitely not an INFJ!
Also, for the emotional part, mature and well-developed INTPs can also be in touch with their emotions, so it's not just an F thing! Although I'd say his humour is very INTP-like, very blunt and witty and very Ti-Ne.
I do agree with the enneagram tho, I believe he has 4 qualities in him. (definitely part of his tritype)

The fact that he's an isfj and people with this kind of personality are known to dislike spotlight. It seems like although he's always in the middle, he doesn't use it to steal all the attention of the crowd (but ofc he's still professional and knows what he's doing). He prefers being lowkey, but since he has a great presence and charisma he can make everyone draw their eyes to him.

I am reading way too much into this because it's late... so forgive the novel here. Haechan and i are almost identical in personality. It shocks me very often. He took the test and got ENFP and I believe that is very very fitting. I'm ENTP (my thinking vs feeling is 51/49% though and I feel like his would probably be kinda close too probably around like 40/60). I see why people put him in ESFP, that boy is a born performer and he's got the charms. I just really feel like he's more of a deep thinker than to fall in the sensing category, even just the way he problem solves is not in the character type of someone who is more sensing vs intuition. Little things how he used the heat from his breath to warm the adhesive on the plastic to try to not make noise during the don't wake mom episode. Not to mention his work ethic, where (typically not always) sensing people would just do a job they're given with out wanting to have any progress or future growth. You can watch his performances change in almost every single kick it stage, because he took feedback or wanted to try to make something better/different while still being completely on point with the choreo. Okay, rant over. He's my ult. I love him. I need to not drunk sleepy youtube comment any more. XD
I don't think Jaemin is extrovert. He is often silent too and being a good listener when others are talking. He loves doing anything alone too.

Yeah. Btw Jaemin said that he loves travelling alone (an interview when dreamis was in Indonesia). He also said that being alone is good cause being around a lot of people does spend a lot of energy and he wanted to take some rest (in My English Puberty TV program)

In my opinion Jaemin, Jeno and Renjun, are all high feelers. Renjun ISFP, Jeno INFP and Jaemin ISFJ.
First of all, the function F is not only about emotions, being a feeler doesn't mean you'll be a super emotional person. Above all, it's a functions that makes judgements based on values, moral and ethics. Different from the function T, that makes decisions analyzing a framework that doesn't need to consider values, and must be consistent in its logic.
Renjun and Jeno both have a very mature Fi, what makes people confuse them as thinker types, because their train of thoughts seems very logical. However the more you mature your feeler functions, the best you became at rationalizing your feelings.
That's why Fi dom's sometimes can seem as serious, cold and logical people.
About Jaemin, he is amazing, kid breathes Si and Exudes so much Fe, he's soooo expressive about his feelings and affectionate, that I understand when people confuse him as an Fe dom.
