    Thanks! Btw, you can change the color of the links in Elementor, no need for custom CSS (21:30). You can do that by editing the Column Style. I know, it's not really intuitive.

    Thanks Pete for the great walkthrough. Been struggling with this exact thing. Does the template tip in elementor also apply to the default post styling in WP if you haven't edited in Elementor, all of my posts have been added in the default editor at this point and I am not using the Post Page option, I created a separate page with a grid layout and link to "blog"

      Thanks for the comment Dan!
      Honestly--I'm not positive (as I'm not sure I'm understanding you correctly), but I *think* the answer to your question is "yes."
      You shouldn't have to re-do any of that content built in the WP editor.
      You can build theme templates in Elementor, apply them to your blog posts, etc, and the content will pull through (where you can style it Elementor).

    Thanks for sharing all this valuable information, Pete! For Elementor Pro 3.0.9 doesn't have the option to just choose "single" and then choose "podcast". Any workarounds you can suggest?

      I'll be honest here: I don't know :/
      Wish I had something for you here in the YT comments, but that's a tough one lol. Sorry!
      Side Note: There's always a workaround--just depends on how much time you're willing to devote for figuring it out yourself--or how much you can pay somebnody else to. 🤷‍♂️

    Hi pete. Sorry about my comment which was a bit ‘strong’. What really meant is that as you yourself mentioned at the beginning if your video is quite confusing due to the very nature of the ‘overwhelming’ tools available, which we struggle to follow them all.
    In essense , we can use so many ‘themes’ or ‘child themes’ , or readybmade templates, or plug-ins, or even various different page builders, and ‘now’ also gutenberg blocks and add-ons , and on and on and on.
    When compared to ‘Excel’ which is just one spreadsheet only !
    I think ‘Wordpress’ is going overboard !!! , and driving everyone else into a frenzy . My humble opinion, and sorry once again if i was a bit too harsh. Kind regards. Martin Argimon

    What I've been struggling to do is make an easy way for a client to upload podcast episodes via posts without going through too many steps. I don't want to burden them with the code, just a simple way to post new episodes like they're using one of those run of the mill podcasting websites, but specifically for their content.

    • @DoYouEvenBlog
      @DoYouEvenBlog  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's a doozy! And one I'm not really sure how to tackle I'm afraid. Might dive into their documentation or reach out to their support?

    • @EasterlyArt
      @EasterlyArt 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DoYouEvenBlog Would the best option then be to just manually add each episode myself and update all corresponding pages? Ideal state would be I build the framework to spec for what the client wants, and all they have to do is drop an audio file into an upload field, fill out some supporting text, publish, and all pages that correspond with said publishing are updated and new pages are made automatically.

    Dear Sir,
    Your videos has been very helpful.
    With the help of Pods, we can organise our contents creating multiple Custom Post Types and Custom Fields.
    If we have more than one Custom Post Types, Sir , how we can display Custom Post Types on various topics using Elementor and Elementor Pro ? Do we need to create different templates for different Custom Post Types ?
    For example : If I want to display all topics on Cars under Custom Post Type " Car " , do I need to create a separate template for displaying all Cars under Custom Post Type " Car " ?
    What if I have multiple custom post types ? How to display them using Elementor and Elementor Pro ?
    I hope you got my point.
    Please help .
    With warm regards,

    I like the content you are presenting, but OMG, it is PAINFUL to watch this. First off, you need to BACK OFF THE COFFEE!

    • @linkomatic
      @linkomatic 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That whole interlude where you said you wasted a half an hour trying to figure something out was such an annoying, confusing diversion! And THEN you come back to show this page with 3 copies of the same content, and then add yet another copy with the shortcode. You have not idea how confusing this is to someone trying to follow the steps correctly.

    • @linkomatic
      @linkomatic 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Suggestion: START WIH THE END IN MIND. SHOW people the thing you are going to build, then BUILD IT -- ONCE without any sidebar comments or diversions into mistakes.

    • @linkomatic
      @linkomatic 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      And, Jesus, SLOW YOUR ROLL. You talk and click too fast! Develop a SCRIPT for what you are going to do (don't just wing it) and FOLLOW IT. Pretend that you are NOT trying to whip through the content as fast as possible. Take your time so your audience can follow both your words and your mouse clicks..

    • @linkomatic
      @linkomatic 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Lastly, injecting a LITTLE bit of personality into the presentation is fine. It doesn't have to be completely dry. It seems you are trying awfully hard to ENTERTAIN us. The (too many, and not great) attempts at humor are a distraction from what the main goal should be, which is to educate us.
