    Great tips to clean and test pearls/beads, and your drawing really will newer pearl knotters. I love your new magnetic clasps. Are they rare earth? Thanks for the great videos.

    Hi! Why do you not make a knot after the bead tip?

      Hi Sibylle, we want to make a knot into the end tip but when you do a knot after or next to the end tip, the thread surface is larger and has more area to rub against the silk knot and wear it away. It's traditional to let the pearl be next to the end tip and put a knot after the first pearl. i hope this helps! ~janice
