Great video, and love the Hobby. Keep it and document the repair work! They don’t make them solid like the circa 2000 Hobby’s anymore. Looks like the aluminium corrosion corresponds with internal plumbing fixtures, water tank, boiler and bathroom.

Repair it and keep it. That’s what I would do. Its lovely. Bet it’s shower leaking as well as windows

That’s a lot of work for a van with the steering wheel on the wrong side.
