@@christianalboroto7574 I think it's because Season 2 isn't being shown "officially" on any service. He said he wouldn't watch it through other..... methods.
I love how this episode gives context to his grim and angry demeanor when he's introduced. He was so angry because he didn't enjoy boxing, it was more of a means to an end for him. Now that he likes it he can look at his opponent with a smile
@@elkiki298 Knowing that we learn his backstory isn't really a spoiler. It'd be kinda surprising if we didn't considering how important of a character he is. I was intentionally vague to make sure I wouldn't let anything slip that might ruin it.
@@gyver8448 LOL it might not be a direct spoiler, but you're still hinting that it will happen, which ruins the element of surprise also, providing a justification for giving a "vague" spoiler to someone watching a series is pretty whack ngl
Yessss. Volg is my absolute favorite character of the show. Of course all the characters in the show feel genuine, but Volg's character is just so clear. The development from when we're first introduced to now really is great.
Amazing reaction! Hajime no Ippo is my all-time favorite anime. I stumbled upon it in 2006 and have watched it through many times. I am so glad that it is finally getting the recognition it deserves. I am excited to jump on this journey with you and can't wait to see what you think of the rest of the series. Keep up the good work!
When you mentioned that we are gonna see volg and sendo again, I wonder if it is because they have some sort of animal theme to them. Sendo with the tiger, and volg with the wolf, animal themed boxers just seem to stick around in this show
Volg shoulda won in my opinion. Both because it's getting kinda predictable cuz ippo keeps winning and you lose on the suspense, but also I thought it'd be a great opportunity to explore a plot line where the coach pushed Ippo too far, how Ippo may have a strong will but the body can only take so much after a certain point. Sometimes, giving it your all can be a bad thing. I just would loved that theme to be explored.
I’m honestly always surprised Ippo still keeps getting these W’s. I know he’s the MC, but I’m just waiting for that match that’s so close but it just doesn’t tip in his favor…
I wonder if Lax gets or read those simple but good lines such as the trainer realizing it was his mistake to overlook something because he was blinded by Volg's talent
Broo, what happened :c, there are still so much episodes to cover and the last ippo was 2 weeks ago u.u is he going to upload 5 in a video or something, I hope so xd
Man I really don’t know how much more I can watch. Not having Ippo lose a single time is getting super repetitive and stagnate. Hopefully something changes soon
@@rodrigomendoza1507 Not bait. It’s truly boring right now. Imagine in Haikyu, if the team just never lost once from the start and went all the way through Nationals. Or in KnB, if they never lost. Makes for a very predictable and stagnant show.
One of my favourite episodes. Really hit me hard too when Volg realized his love for boxing.
WE ARE GETTING REALLLLLLY CLOSE TO PEAK
FRRRRRRRRRRR
REAALL
Every episode in Ippo is peak. But we are getting to peak within peak.
Suddenly stopped uploading Hajime no Ippo reaction though.

Kamogawa's issues with people looking down on Japanese boxing like he did in this situation will make more sense once you learn about his backstory.
Oh yea pseudo spoilers

7:37, Bro took the impact of Gazelle Punch, that's why Volg stood up with flashback.

You're just describing Joe at this point.

Volg's definitely a brother
Lax, predictions on the Date fight?
Dude....if you think this match is insane (which it is) I can't WAIT for your reaction to the upcoming Ippo and Takamura fights.
Goated. Fucking goated anime.
