I hate that Pop'n Music have become popular on TikTok, now every Pop'n Music video will be full of the most basic and npc people that have no f*cking clue about any rhythm game besides Just Dance or fnf.
honestly the game is kind of hard to get into (LITERALLY) 😭 its like rly unaccessible to most ppl unless u live in korea or japan . Like sure ppl can emulate the psp or gameboy versions but i honestly dont consider those popn games lmao ,, psp version is genuinely like really hard to play imo…. the actual cab is also like, really difficult to play in general (the harder modes)But yea, its mostly ppl who find the artstyle appealing i doubt half of these ppl actually wanna play the game . Only reason im mad its getting popular is bc now its gonna be a lot harder to find controllers and merch if ppl DO try and get into the game 😅 but i think more ppl should know abt it, and im actually surprised its taken this long !!

Literally if u play a popn cab , pretty much the first thing that pops up on the screen is a text saying something along the lines of : “ this game is for sale and use in japan/korea only. the copyrighted music/character/art work are separately owned by authors. the use of this game outside the territory is strictly prohibited.” Which is crazy … But ig konami assumes it wouldn’t do well in the west (personally i believe this as well , even if the game is getting popular recently I doubt it’ll ever become popular enough for it to genuinely be profitable over there) But it’s a shame most of us don’t get to experience playing on a cab 😕
