Other Notes: To celebrate 2024, I finally had the time to film something so I decided to hit up another undocumented Vortex in Mahoning County. Decided to go to the one at the South Mill Veterinary Clinic as that one is confirmed active. To my surprise, it was very punchy from where I was. I was also not expecting this to have an ESC-2020 controller as most Whelens in the county seem to have ESC-864’s. I’m actually very happy this one has an ESC-2020 as I really love how those sound and it’s been ages since I filmed one, especially it being 560 Hz. Unfortunately, I accidentally had my Zoom facing the front instead of the back but I thought it still came out top notch as usual so I kept it. Also, you might notice the watermark changed position when the wide shot came in. Well, I wasn’t hoping to do that but it was a must because my secondary shot was a little too low unfortunately. Still came out very nicely so I’m happy with that. Other than that, very happy with how everything came out especially the main shot because of the snow. However, I might revisit this sometime in the summer in the sunlight to get a nice sunlit shot of it.
