The offense should still be lights out good. Can this defense make the same jump Baker made at Mizzu? If so, it will come down to beating ole miss or bama.
Not confident at all about the opening week against usc. I hope, we can take care of business. But, we've shown over the past few years that we really don't know who we are coming out of fall camp. Until we can buck that trend for a couple of years and look like a decent team in the opening week , I'll be very cautious

I think they will be better if Nuss takes care of the ball , they’re going to batter teams with the run game, a qb scrambling for rush yards isn’t the same as running backs smashing it up the gut lol JD was hard to catch but they aren’t scared to tackle a quarterbacks , this should be a well balanced offense and the defense has to be better 😂

I don't think 10-2 will cut it unless it's the 2 best records in the SEC or other conferences have a 10-2 or worst conference champion runner up to make the argument. Given the automatic bids. Hopefully other conferences don't have a few teams with great records to take away from multiple SEC teams because it's gonna be hard for landing two best records when you have the teams of Georgia, Texas, Ole Miss, Missouri, Alabama, LSU and Oklahoma who have the potential to make a run for the CFP. It will be interesting to see just how well the season plays out.
A 10-2 LSU gets over every other 10-2 team in the SEC unless it's UGA/Bama. Texas schedule is below LSU's, and if one of their losses is to UGA, they won't have a true signature win Mizzou has a crap schedule Tennessee has a mediocre schedule, and if they lose to Bama and UGA, no way in hell they get over LSU If LSU goes 10-2 and Ole Miss goes 10-2, i think the only way Ole Miss goes over LSU is if they beat them at LSU. Bama at 10-2 could get over LSU, but if LSU beats Bama, then LSU is automatically in. IMO, UGA and Ole Miss in the SECCG, both make the playoff, LSU at 10-2 makes the playoff. What you ALWAYS ignore is the coach. What coach has a better record or history overall. Then, looking at the history of year 3 then the history is insane. I know you have to come up with talking points but why can't you focus on all the power we have instead of the few weaknesses. Come on, man. If everything goes positively, we have had an off season and season of joy and hope. If not, we at least have had an off season of joy and hope. That running games needs to play keep away from USC game 1
USC is straight garbage, even their offense with the 1 player in the draft was getting shutdown.
