Because in my opinion, for a few seasons now, Jay has been a bit forgotten and even his personality in some seasons was a bit "common", in addition to him being a character with powers that weren't very well worked on, but with the script they were very good.

That's probably the first good argument for a plot hole that I've heard about why Bonzle never mentioned Jay. The vision produced by Wu's spirit shows Jay as a ninja and his power after the episode prior Bonzle first heard about Jay.
I'm hoping that maybe it's because the stakes were too high in the moment and she'll bring it up to Cole later, she doesn't react much in general, so maybe she did realize and just is waiting for the appropriated time to bring it up.

Simply put, the 16 Realms collided together with Ninjago after an event called the Merge, and everyone in the realms got split up. The Ninja have mostly gotten back together as Lloyd is training two new Ninja students with special abilities. In these scenes with Jay, he has amnesia following the Merge and does not remember his past life.
Episode 7, but if you might be able to tell, there is a cut because that’s the cliffhanger for that episode. Most of that scene takes place in episode 8

In season 5, she finds out that she has to leave her samurai life behind to become the water ninja In season 6 her and Jay have a little fight that they're no longer friends, and then at the end, she dies!! But oh, a miracle happens, and her and Jay fall in love In season 7, she finds out the truth about her parents, and it feels like her and Jay have become more distant until that cute moment happened when they realise water and lightning could scare the baby snakes away. In season 9, they get separated cause Jay goes to another realm 🎉 SEASON 10, the writers finally gave them a break, and Jay proposed!! 🎉 In season 12, they get SEPERATED AGAIN. And Jay loses Nya once more :( In season 13, this weird goblin queen hits on Jay, which makes Nya mad that he's NOT picking up the hints, and it kinda makes their relationship go back to the ups and downs In season 15, she starts losing her powers and hits deep depression which made her lose hope and even forget about her relationship with jay. And at the end she dies as in no longer human and separated from jay again. In season 16, Jay becomes depressed and mentally ill that he separates himself from the world and fills glasses half full half empty to get signs from Nya :( UNTIL SHE CAME BACK AGAIN YAY🎉 In Dragon's rising season 1, they get SEPERATED AGAIN. and Jaya haven't seen each other YET. In Dragon's rising season 2, Nya gets a vision of how she remembers Jay, but it's a negative-fake vision, and he TELLS HER FACE TO FACE that he doesn't know who she is. THEN, the fake vision turns out not to be so fake after all, AND HE REALLY FORGOT HER :(( Thank you for reading until the end. They'll never catch another break, will they?
Gosh this goes into even more detail than the Jaya compilation I made. They really just never catch a break, and sure while all these adventures are nice, you barely ever see them just get time to themselves. I mean the only moment that comes to mind is the “Let’s Dance” Prime Empire short but nothing else comes to mind. I understand all the character developments happening especially with Jay’s character right now, but it still feels so unhappy

They're the happiest couple with the most balanced relationship ever, yet we have never seen them explore this relationships further more, its like everything they do together is private and the writers don't want to show us how their relationship is going so far, so they just keep separating them from eachother every once in a while then they get back together stronger than ever

Well you know I think Lord Vortech was just a tad bit unethical and while they definitely could work together or make as a fun bonus world, I don’t think the administration would join him because he certainly is doing illegal things and would not want to be bothered by paperwork 🤷♂️

These clips are season 2 part 1. Season 2 part 2 will probably come out September (who knows), but season 3 will start in spring 2025

What happened? I stopped watching ninjago a few years ago and now i’m curious about the plot
Simply put, the 16 Realms collided together with Ninjago after an event called the Merge, and everyone in the realms got split up. The Ninja have mostly gotten back together as Lloyd is training two new Ninja students with special abilities. In these scenes with Jay, he has amnesia following the Merge and does not remember his past life.

In pirates, Jay catches feelings for Nya, and she gets kidnapped.
In season 1, she gets kidnapped again
Season 2 gets kidnapped and turns into a villain controlled by garmadon, and that also causes a fight between Cole and Jay
In season 3 her and Cole catch feelings, AND she tries to hide it from JAY??
In season 5, she finds out that she has to leave her samurai life behind to become the water ninja
In season 6 her and Jay have a little fight that they're no longer friends, and then at the end, she dies!! But oh, a miracle happens, and her and Jay fall in love
In season 7, she finds out the truth about her parents, and it feels like her and Jay have become more distant until that cute moment happened when they realise water and lightning could scare the baby snakes away.
In season 9, they get separated cause Jay goes to another realm
🎉 SEASON 10, the writers finally gave them a break, and Jay proposed!! 🎉
In season 12, they get SEPERATED AGAIN. And Jay loses Nya once more :(
In season 13, this weird goblin queen hits on Jay, which makes Nya mad that he's NOT picking up the hints, and it kinda makes their relationship go back to the ups and downs
In season 15, she starts losing her powers and hits deep depression which made her lose hope and even forget about her relationship with jay. And at the end she dies as in no longer human and separated from jay again.
In season 16, Jay becomes depressed and mentally ill that he separates himself from the world and fills glasses half full half empty to get signs from Nya :( UNTIL SHE CAME BACK AGAIN YAY🎉
In Dragon's rising season 1, they get SEPERATED AGAIN. and Jaya haven't seen each other YET.
In Dragon's rising season 2, Nya gets a vision of how she remembers Jay, but it's a negative-fake vision, and he TELLS HER FACE TO FACE that he doesn't know who she is. THEN, the fake vision turns out not to be so fake after all, AND HE REALLY FORGOT HER :((

Gosh this goes into even more detail than the Jaya compilation I made. They really just never catch a break, and sure while all these adventures are nice, you barely ever see them just get time to themselves. I mean the only moment that comes to mind is the “Let’s Dance” Prime Empire short but nothing else comes to mind. I understand all the character developments happening especially with Jay’s character right now, but it still feels so unhappy
@LegoTheorist that's so right!! They're the happiest couple with the most balanced relationship ever, yet we have never seen them explore this relationships further more, its like everything they do together is private and the writers don't want to show us how their relationship is going so far, so they just keep separating them from eachother every once in a while then they get back together stronger than ever
@@Turo_Oikawa I mean it's certainly better that they don't explain too much of it so that their relationship doesn't get ruined again after the love triangle in season 3, but the solution every time should not be to separate them
