    Very Clean place. We had a Park Model home there and loved it.

    We've been 3 or 4 years in a row. We normally stay in the yellow area and I recall seeing the Black Pearl at least twice during our visits!

      We really enjoy this campground. The location is great, with the walkway to the beach, wash station, etc. It's an easy drive up to Atlantic Beach for additional sightseeing and the aquarium.

    Do they allow tents here?

    • @dougssundries6578

      Yes, I believe they do have some tent sites.

      Thanks Tim. I think we are going to try and go there next year too. It was a great campground in a great location.

      Doug's Sundries , if you ever have any problems, the staff is very helpful, great staff. Hope to see you down there. Travel safely.

      Thanks Tim. So far we've had very little need for help but this is good to know. This is probably our favorite beach park. We hope to visit again this year (2017).

      Great place, wifi is awful

    • @dougssundries6578
      @dougssundries6578  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, like most RV parks the wifi is lacking. Sad state that we can't get better wifi in these parks.

    I watched your video of kitty hawk park, this one is definitely worth $20 a night more. Kitty hawk looked like a refugee camp, I mean no offence to anyone, but it does.

      Emerald Isle is definitely nicer with more amenities. However, staying anywhere on OBX can be expensive and this park is right on the beach as well. There are a couple of other campgrounds further south on the island but this one is in a convenient location.

    Were you at Kitty Hawk RV Park or Cape Hatteras last year? I seem to remember a Class C Black Pearl

    • @dougssundries6578
      @dougssundries6578  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, we've been spending July 4th at Kitty Hawk RV for the last 4 years. We also drove down to Nags Head for a couple nights.

      @@dougssundries6578 ok I was at Kitty Hawk Labor Day 2017 and Camp Hatteras last July. I probably saw you on the road. I drive an old Gray 1990 Safari Serengeti Class A. a.k.a. The Gray Ghost

      It's very nice for a place that is right on the water. I've been in tighter places without grass. The state parks are the best when it comes to lot size.

      It wasn't at capacity and never felt crowded. We were there early in the season but I imagine it fills up after school lets out.

    Thanks for the nice tour. BUT, you need to slow down. You already didn't play attention and blow the stop sign, it would end my life to kill a child.
