Hi I'm new and enjoying your videos! You seem so sensible and wise compared to a lot of young moms on the TH-cams.
Re vinegar as fabric softener the trick is to wait and add to the rinse cycle! Get a downy ball, it's a little container with a rubber plug on it. Half fill it every load with full strength vinegar. When the wash cycle starts to spin it flings open the ball and adds it at the right time.
If you still don't like the result 3 things. 1 you may not have given it a chance. Keep doing it and see if it helps over time. 2 may be that the bounce is coating the fabric and adding layer of residue every load. Vinegar is supposed to remove residue and also soften water which helps fabrics rinse cleaner making them feel better...downy and dryer sheets coat the fabrics making them soft on the surface. And 3 if you like the way bounce works you can just do that and stop using a rinse away product.

Such lovely work I try to balance the cycle of all the housework in a way that I don't mind staying at the bottom of the cycle when everything is a mess too much but it is undoubtedly the best phase to work for it all to be tidy and clean again..

I love your videos ❤ I wish I was as together as you are when my kids were small - now as a grandmother my home is decluttered and tidy all the time but when I was younger it definitely was not. I find my strawberries keep better in mason jars if I don’t wash them first. They keep for 2 weeks and no condensation. I wash them as I use them xx

It's so interesting to hear how it is in other countries! Even though we have a dryer, I've thought of getting a clothing line just to experience "line dried" sheets. I've heard they're heavenly 😅

We ended up canceling our Walmart+ membership because we kept giving them way too many chances and they kept delivering with things either missing or expired. We've moved on to Krogers now and it's way better. Even without a Kroger's membership it's cheaper because we don't have to tip. Kroger's delivers the groceries in a company refrigerated truck with employees making the delivery instead of a third party.

Hey Shelby, I also have walmart + and I do enjoy it but my only issue is I am in a gated building an sometimes the delivery people have issues. I do love the convenience and the fact that any items I'd like to buy I do not have to pay shipping on.
Ah man, I can see there being issues with the gate! When my kiddos were newborns the delivery was a MUST, but I think I'm going to save the extra and go for the pickup.
I think if you had hampers in your rooms, you might see the amount of laundry building up.
That would probably help, I keep it in my closet right now because I don't like to look at it lol

You aren’t using enough vinegar. I fill my bleach dispenser cup. A splash isn’t enough.
Thank you!!! I was filling up my softener dispenser with it, thought that'd be enough. Definitely not. I don't use the bleach dispenser so I tried putting the vinegar in there because it holds more and it worked great!! I'm back to vinegar 💕
