I was a month ago again in NY and Nashvile. There I have my Latino and non-Latino students. I will be again in a year in August for one month.

i don’t understand why your student wears tennis shoes on a dance floor. mistake number 1, socks may be essential too? Leather soles man.....
i always look at ladies shoes first before asking, knowing those with improper shoes are limited to especially turns.
Novice! Captain salsa is trying hard to shape this lady but is not an easy task! Kudos to him he is 👍 great at teaching
I don't think tennis shoes matter very much to a good dancer? There is more traction with tennis shoes. But many a dancer will dance on concrete. So, with good dance technique, I doubt it really matters? Ever heard a good piano player play a piano with several broken keys? You don't even notice it.
@@jerrysamuels1113 that’s really ok for you but it looks stupid and the turns turn into twist and is hard on the knees. your suppose to turn on the ball of your feet and your knees will be a problem later in life. concrete or not no excuse. women who are flat footed dance flat footed.
