So proud of Taemin. He has so much ambition and is so creative, and his artistry has not limit. He always tries to do better and isnt afraid to try different things. He could have let the company decide for him, but he took part in the whole creative process, the mixting, chose the director, etc. He worked so closely with this album, that he basically called it his baby. What I admire the most is that he tries to make his own mark, as he said several times: ''I want to widen the horizon of music in Kpop, I want to make music that only belongs to me" In this industry, so competitive and with new groups all the time, it's admirable. 😹LOL it is impossible to resist Taemin’s powerful aura & angelic voice that he possesses making you hypnotizingly memorized. As you can see he is big fan of MJ as an artist especially as a dancer combining his own moves along with some choreography of his very good friend world famous japanese choreographer Koharu Sugawara who probably had a hand in his dance which you will see allot of if you choose to continue to learn more of Taemin (THE ACE OF ALL THE ARTISTS) that have debuted after him. He has done something that is very hard to achieve in the music & entertainment world is that he was able to stay extremely well-grounded & humble along with his brothers SHINee throughout his career who became role model to so many artists and fans. As always, I appreciate your love of Taemin's talent. The concept for this MV is Stockholm Syndrome from the victim's perspective - Taemin; however, Taemin is also the perpetrator (the criminal). Basically, as Taemin has stated, he's trying to break away from his old image/persona and create a new one - "Destroy me more" (and make me even better, as though refined by fire). Right now he's leashed by his old persona ("I'm on a leash called you" - meaning himself) The process of changing your persona, the image that has been with you since the beginning, into a whole new identity is painful but necessary to achieve what he wants, which is to become an even better performer and artist. The statue with him in the sign of the cross is a symbol of resurrection/rebirth - the newly emerging Taemin. Taemin is a devout Catholic, so his MVs often have a lot of meaningful religious imagery and metaphors. Taemin said the beginning scene, when he is down in the dark with the lava floor represents the deepest depths of his present persona. The lighter scene (in the white room w/the speakers) is the mid-progression of his rebirth. Act II of the 3-pt album will be that resurrection/rebirth. I believe this MV/song is linked to "Famous". The short explanation being "....being "Famous" may be "fabulous" but it's "dangerous" and creates a lot of drama, and Taemin wants "no drama". yes i agree, Kai is one of the best dancer and Lay. I know Taemin before but i stan Kai first and he is really a good dancer no lie but when i got a chance to stan taemin bc of Dont call me i swear to God we have the same reaction!
