Basically this. It's such a sad reality as this wasn't how TH-cam gurus were when I first started in 2020. I'm just glad people find my channel and actually watch my videos. The content is free and valuable
I regret signing up with them. I wish I saw this video earlier. Everything you highlighted is true. Such a terrible, horrible, useless company. You can't even get hold of any one to resolve your issue.
Thank you for sharing your experience with em, it's actually terrible that they operate like this as well as have all these TH-camrs affiliated with them. It's probably because they know once there is an issue it's too difficult to resolve so they rather just ignore it and move on.
i'm telling you all. The shipping methods has improved since last month really well. Usually it took for me 2 weeks aprox. to get my order. Now it arrives in 1 week! And it is an Overseas purchase! At this rate, it won't matter if you order local or overseas. Thank you for you transparency with dropshipping! I hope to build my shop fromvery soon (once I saved the needed capital).
Yup AliExpress is super quick now. I had an order arrive within 6 days including weekends. Anyone who still says AliExpress is slow hasn't used AliExpress recently. TH-camrs only say it's slow so that people use their autoDS affiliate link. Sigh.

Yup agreed! I'm in Australia and I used auto-ds last year on and off and everything was fine. until...recently. I have 2 active stores running and they billed me $998 Annually for one store then 2 days later billed me $360 for the other store. despite me selecting there monthly plan of $39 that allowed up to 3 stores &this is while I was still on 5th day of my14-day trial. They seemed helpful at first and refunded part of the first charge so $980 refunded but that $360 is no where to be seen. Even after cancelling subscription and removing them from my stores they just billed me $380 once again. I had no choice but to file a dispute with the bank and have my card blocked while they try to resolve this in the next 15-25 days. I will definitely look into the trust pilot reviews. May possibly help my case but this is important time that could be used to focus on important things testing, scaling, think about ideas. This would be disheartening if it was someone new Auto-DS is not worth the risk. I'm just paranoid person so I check my statements alot for shit like this otherwise I wouldn't have noticed.
What a nightmare... These are issues that shouldn't be happening and they're just cunning to continue doing this. They hope that their customers don't raise chargebacks and move on.
And I'm glad you mentioned being paranoid about future charges by autoDS. I completely forgot this would be an issue that develops. A feeling that any business owner should not experience when running a business.

When you have your products private labeled with a supplier do you tie that same product to your store like normal and the supplier just sees that it's coming from your store and labels it as your product? Or do you have an option to select something when you purchase your orders for your brand? This portion of private labeling has always thrown me off. I want to get into private labeling and this part has always confused me the most about it. Great video and insight! I was on the fence between DSers and Autods and this just saved me and answered other of my questions. Subscribed, thanks!
Exactly the first point. I've built a solid relationship with my suppliers so they know they're coming from my account and will need to include branded tags, etc.

I’m glad you made this video because me and my parents were skeptical because when you go in to see how much you’ll be paying after the free trial they don’t show it and the auto DS channel they say how much the product is and then say the profit of what you’ll make from it with auto DS but it wasn’t adding up if I have high dollar product why am I only getting a such a low amount from it and all the TH-camrs I look up to try and help me all use auto DS I wish people would genuinely help instead of just trying to make a quick buck all the time 🙄

Unfortunately, I don't have any knowledge or experience of this so I can't provide much help. The only thing I'd say is that I wouldn't just rely on TikTok shop imo and competition there is insane.
How do you drop-ship clothing from AliExpress without the Chinese writing? And thier factory addresses on the clothings bags? How can you brand the packaging with your logo on when ordering multiple suppliers for one order for example? Love your content very helpful
Exactly why I don't want a discord group that everyone can enter. Yeah I don't understand why people don't just go directly to the source (AliExpress). Ofc there's Alibaba but they don't offer dropshipping services.
After you give a supplier consistent sales on AliExpress they are usually more willing to explore the possibilities of branded logos, etc but of course this depends on the product and how easy it is to get the brand on the product.

Hmm, ok. First time coming across your channel. I just built a drop-shipping shop (shopify/autoDS). I have not yet passed tiktok shop ID verification yet. My shop has not started selling. So can't comment on my autoDS experience that much. However - I feel like there isn't enough context behind you criticism of autoDS. All services will have a mixture of reviews, good and bad. Secondly, you are a DSers affiliate. The competition. Regardless whether or not you say you being objective, this does strike me as a little biased, no offense. It's not that I doubt you believe what you say, it just feels as though we need a bit more context. Were you a former autoDS customer and got burned? It's just that I put a lot of hours into setup/configuration of autoDS with my shop. If I am to consider jumping ship to another service, I feel like I need more details here.
I wish you the best with AutoDS, hopefully, your experience is good with them. I mean I don't want to sit through all their 1-star reviews, but honestly just go through their 1-star reviews and you'll soon realise the same issues come up over and over again. Yes I am affiliated and I mention it many times, I don't promote my links nor do I make much from them. Over the past 6 months, I made a grand total of $2 lol. I never used AutoDS and I also used Oberlo for a year then moved over to DSers as Oberlo closed down. They're not perfect but they don't have fuck ups like AutoDS and Zendrop. CJ dropshipping is the worst out of the four after reading their reviews. The point of this video is not to make you guys jump ship but to raise awareness that AutoDS is not as great as everyone makes it out to be. If I really wanted to make money from affiliate links I would have teamed up with AutoDS and not DSers.
You're welcome. You need to find your own suppliers and then contact them. Initially you're going to have to pay for it but over time if you bring in a lot of sales they'll work with you and provide cheaper rates or even provide it for free. Although this is something I wouldn't focus on at first.

Been using autods for a month now, still couldn't figure it out fully, it's a complete mess of a platform, very slow, navigation is overcomplicated, product search is not working properly, credit system is hard to follow, ugly customer support page like from a 90's website😂, scammy credit card charging, and over all of that turns out my 40$ sub has a cap of roughly 100 products max, if I need to import more, I gotta upgrade to 70$ per month, a complete ripoff!🤬
Exactly it's a trap that keeps people in because you've spent all that time importing and setting everything up. I'm sorry that you're experiencing this with your fulfilment chain. Such an unnecessary headache to have when dropshipping. Thank you for sharing your experience!
If you have sold dinner plates and bowls before, did you have any concern regarding your liability if suppliers utilized harmful substances ie, lead? Some suppliers on Ali indicate certificates but these can be fake.
Hmm I never actually considered this. I only sold those Japanese bowls 4 years ago but closed that store after a month of running it due to conflict in the team. Is there another way to verify this apart from certificates?
@theecomzone I am not aware of any other ways to verify this. Someone on reddit recommended that supplier's certificates be audited but this seems like a convoluted process especially with several suppliers. I may pivot to another niche, i.e., pet products. However, as stated in one of your videos, would the low perceived value of the products be prohibitive in terms of making a profit? Thanks for all your help!
Hi, I wonder if this happens to you. So all my products' price changed back to its original price which is the supplier's because of auto price update on Dser. My question is are there any way to revert to the lasteat price , or I need to fix them all one by onen
Unfortunately, this has never happened to me as I never had this setting on but you should switch that off and have an automatic mark up when you import products. As for the price change now you can bulk edit or install an app that does it for you or ask DSers if there's a way to increase all prices. Sucks that it happened

It is very true they are scam because for one thing they had over charge me from 49 dollars and I tried to reach customer support and here was no feed back from them what’s ever so they basically scam me
That is exactly what other people are experiencing, it's almost as if when there is an issue they just say oops then push it aside. You may be able to open a chargeback with your bank if they don't respond.
It's honestly sad to see. The number of subscribers who jump on 121 calls with me and tell me how much money they've wasted on courses, mentorships, and how bad their experience was with AutoDS is insane. Some lost thousands of dollars.

Are you trying to track other people's store sales because none of them track accurately imo. If you're trying to track your own sales, then triple whale does work but I use my own finance template to track cash flow, profit and loss, sales, etc.

7:42 Watch out for this guys.. I checked and changed my plan 3 days into my trial from annual to monthly and they charged me there and then for changing plan. So much for a free trial.. So if you do wait until a bit later into it
That's a pain or just don't use them at all! I'm not sure how AutoDS charges their customers but it seems like everyone has different experiences and is charged at various times.
Yup I will be Zendrop is on my list next and then CJ Dropshipping. There are so many fulfillment apps out there that aren't useful at all and end up making the fulfillment process a headache when it shouldn't be

I'm transparent with my customers and they know the parcel is being shipped from China as I explain the benefits like free worldwide shipping with reasonably fast shipping times.
@@JamezJN007 pretty sure it's still free. And just a heads up if you can't afford to pay DSers basic fee of $20pm then you shouldn't really be dropshipping or running any business that requires upfront capital. I explain why in my other videos.
Yeah I will be making a video on Zendrop too. They've been around for a while and have a similar fulfilment process to autoDS with absolutely terrible customer support as well

@@Justsomememes-hi5rb Then that's fine as you are selling to the US. I assume you live in Austria and want to sell elsewhere. The only issue is you will have trouble sampling products as AliExpress cannot ship to you if you live in Austria.
Go read the reviews... There are barely any 1 stars and if there are it's usually to do with mapping. I've used DSers for 3 years and yes there may be times when it gets buggy but they usually resolve them. You barely need to contact their customer support as all DSers does is automate the ordering process. You don't need to speak to them in most cases. When you read bad reviews you need to ask yourself if this will impact my experience and how often are people complaining about it.
AliExpress is the way! Unless you can benefit massively from going with a private supplier or have the capital to upscale to your own set of products then I would just stick to AliExpress.

I’m glad you made this video because me and my parents were skeptical because when you go in to see how much you’ll be paying after the free trial they don’t show it and the auto DS channel they say how much the product is and then say the profit of what you’ll make from it with auto DS but it wasn’t adding up if I have high dollar product why am I only getting a such a low amount from it and all the TH-camrs I look up to try and help me all use auto DS I wish people would genuinely help instead of just trying to make a quick buck all the time 🙄

I got hit with scammers as soon as I joined the discord. And the item prices they show are way marked up.

After you give a supplier consistent sales on AliExpress they are usually more willing to explore the possibilities of branded logos, etc but of course this depends on the product and how easy it is to get the brand on the product.

Hmm, ok. First time coming across your channel. I just built a drop-shipping shop (shopify/autoDS). I have not yet passed tiktok shop ID verification yet. My shop has not started selling. So can't comment on my autoDS experience that much. However - I feel like there isn't enough context behind you criticism of autoDS. All services will have a mixture of reviews, good and bad. Secondly, you are a DSers affiliate. The competition. Regardless whether or not you say you being objective, this does strike me as a little biased, no offense. It's not that I doubt you believe what you say, it just feels as though we need a bit more context. Were you a former autoDS customer and got burned? It's just that I put a lot of hours into setup/configuration of autoDS with my shop. If I am to consider jumping ship to another service, I feel like I need more details here.

Yes I am affiliated and I mention it many times, I don't promote my links nor do I make much from them. Over the past 6 months, I made a grand total of $2 lol.
I never used AutoDS and I also used Oberlo for a year then moved over to DSers as Oberlo closed down. They're not perfect but they don't have fuck ups like AutoDS and Zendrop. CJ dropshipping is the worst out of the four after reading their reviews.
The point of this video is not to make you guys jump ship but to raise awareness that AutoDS is not as great as everyone makes it out to be. If I really wanted to make money from affiliate links I would have teamed up with AutoDS and not DSers.

You're welcome. You need to find your own suppliers and then contact them. Initially you're going to have to pay for it but over time if you bring in a lot of sales they'll work with you and provide cheaper rates or even provide it for free. Although this is something I wouldn't focus on at first.

Yes DSers sends an initial email to the customer when a tracking is updated. However you need aftership or tracking123 app to send further updates

Been using autods for a month now, still couldn't figure it out fully, it's a complete mess of a platform, very slow, navigation is overcomplicated, product search is not working properly, credit system is hard to follow, ugly customer support page like from a 90's website😂, scammy credit card charging, and over all of that turns out my 40$ sub has a cap of roughly 100 products max, if I need to import more, I gotta upgrade to 70$ per month, a complete ripoff!🤬

If you have sold dinner plates and bowls before, did you have any concern regarding your liability if suppliers utilized harmful substances ie, lead? Some suppliers on Ali indicate certificates but these can be fake.
Hmm I never actually considered this. I only sold those Japanese bowls 4 years ago but closed that store after a month of running it due to conflict in the team. Is there another way to verify this apart from certificates?

Someone on reddit recommended that supplier's certificates be audited but this seems like a convoluted process especially with several suppliers. I may pivot to another niche, i.e., pet products. Hi, I wonder if this happens to you. So all my products' price changed back to its original price which is the supplier's because of auto price update on Dser. My question is are there any way to revert to the lasteat price , or I need to fix them all one by onen
Unfortunately, this has never happened to me as I never had this setting on but you should switch that off and have an automatic mark up when you import products. As for the price change now you can bulk edit or install an app that does it for you or ask DSers if there's a way to increase all prices. Sucks that it happened

It is very true they are scam because for one thing they had over charge me from 49 dollars and I tried to reach customer support and here was no feed back from them what’s ever so they basically scam me
That is exactly what other people are experiencing, it's almost as if when there is an issue they just say oops then push it aside. You may be able to open a chargeback with your bank if they don't respond.

Are you trying to track other people's store sales because none of them track accurately imo. If you're trying to track your own sales, then triple whale does work but I use my own finance template to track cash flow, profit and loss, sales, etc.

I'm transparent with my customers and they know the parcel is being shipped from China as I explain the benefits like free worldwide shipping with reasonably fast shipping times.

Go read the reviews... There are barely any 1 stars and if there are it's usually to do with mapping. I've used DSers for 3 years and yes there may be times when it gets buggy but they usually resolve them. You barely need to contact their customer support as all DSers does is automate the ordering process. You don't need to speak to them in most cases.
When you read bad reviews you need to ask yourself if this will impact my experience and how often are people complaining about it.

Yup agreed! I'm in Australia and I used auto-ds last year on and off and everything was fine. until...recently.
I have 2 active stores running and they billed me $998 Annually for one store then 2 days later billed me $360 for the other store. despite me selecting there monthly plan of $39 that allowed up to 3 stores &this is while I was still on 5th day of my14-day trial.
They seemed helpful at first and refunded part of the first charge so $980 refunded but that $360 is no where to be seen. Even after cancelling subscription and removing them from my stores they just billed me $380 once again.
I had no choice but to file a dispute with the bank and have my card blocked while they try to resolve this in the next 15-25 days. I will definitely look into the trust pilot reviews. May possibly help my case but this is important time that could be used to focus on important things testing, scaling, think about ideas. This would be disheartening if it was someone new
Auto-DS is not worth the risk. I'm just paranoid person so I check my statements alot for shit like this otherwise I wouldn't have noticed.
