It absolutely blows my mind that I am sitting in my home, watching a video I streamed to my tv of a robots adventure on a desolate planet millions of miles away in crystal clear quality. What a time to be alive
I can’t believe I’m 70 years old and to see Mars. When I was small boy looking them up at Mars wondering if there’s people there . It is so amazing. I wish that I could be the first to go there.
I am Russian and I really like your voice, it is so clear compared to my English-speaking friends, no need to replay to understand, ty! :) And great content!
If you have ever watched the TH-cam channel Dark 5 you'd have a tough time understanding the narrator. I'm English American and its hard for me to understand him as he talks very fast.
The finest Documentary channel ever on You Tube, I'm in love with this series and all those achievements humans got so far. Thank you for uploading the 2nd episode 🙌🏻❤
These are the only videos in which I avoid the play speed and play the video to the highest of its quality.... These documentaries are treasures. Keep it up. Very nice work.
this almost brings tears to my eyes so amazing & so emotional I am watching another planet & I am 75yrs of age thank you for this wonderful gift this is what we should be watching not war & racketeering of greed & extortion based on a base metal called money with no emotion & real interest THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART THIS GIFT IS MIND BLOWING
Perhaps the finest space documentary channel on You Tube that I have come across. Simple and clear accent with lovely explanation, and amazing quality images. Love watching the videos. Regards from India 🙏
Using an aerial vehicle to accompany this rover was the best idea. If they could later find a more viable system to pair them autonomously, the aerial vehicle could be used as a scout in tandem with the rover. Largely to find those “dune” areas and plan a larger route to have less reliance on the rovers low sensor-range navigation.

um this isn't anything new... we already had a landing on venus and had pictures of it in the 70s... it's not rocket science to predict that we would probably be mapping planets in later years.
Absolutely amazing... Thanks you team. May I ask who is the narrator? His voice and narration is top notch, and resembles Zefrank who did the funny animal videos, The fact about... Although it might only be a similarity, cant put this idea out of may head 🤪
@@ElderFoxDocumentaries I thought the joke was "The space ship Enterprise is circulating Uranus looking for Clingons." Sounds "family frendly" to me. I have heard other versions however. ;^)

Hey ElderFox! Can I please have the image at 2:52? I did find it among the raw images but it was different there. Your version looks great! Thank you. Love this series!
I'm late, but it just fascinates me that every single rover we send to space seem like they have an independent life of their own studying a different planet in the solar system. Although yes, they're technically not alive, but the technology they have just brings life to these machines created by our own hands.
I'm the only person in my circle of friends and family that has the curiosity and love of science that would actually sit through this as well as the previous curiosity rover trips
I still remember Pathfinder. Not sure if it was launch, or landing, but I watched on TV in 96. I still love that name. And, here we are, watching stones in better resolution than our movies on disney+ :p
Slick. Ingenuity is proving its worth. I might guess that small flyers will be a fixture with most or all future Mars Missions? Seems to be a reasonable guess...
hope not...we have messed earth up enuff, and leaving trash everywhere else we go....even around the earth so much debris but they won't even clean that up---just wait till an astronaut(s) dies because of it!
2:34 the rock is named Butt Crack Rock 😂😂 it's not bad and I think it's family friendly enough to be in the video to show humans humor. Btw I absolutely love the name 😂
Is that split rock called R Sol ? Jokes aside incredible images and video. To think how far we have come. More of us need to look up at the sky and relax, even if we just admire the clouds ay our home on earth,

One of the greatest space channels out there. Keep up the great work!
Agree I like to watch space documentaries and this channel is 👌
Did you notice on 5::24 of the video the tracks stopped right in front of a mid size rock and the tracks disappear.?
@donjackson4563 It's because that's were the rover is at the time of the picture. Because of the panoramic camera you can't see it

You should learn English more and eventually you'll understand your friends better
If you’re having trouble understanding there are subtitles.

I also think mabey have a small arm that's a air hose you can pump martian air to clean off solar panels for the helicopters.

Try to keep videos as family friendly as possible. Had many people comment that their teachers played them in the schools.

wish we could see the night sky on mars!!! very surprised we havent been shown any images of that yet, it sounds more incredible than the daytime
Yes it has 2 moons much small than ours but still wouldn't mind seeing how they look from the viewpoint of the Martian surface.
That helicopter flying around on Mars is a wonder for me... Smart engineering by Nasa scientists. I wish I could be part of NASA.

Such an interesting video, I feel like I have been to Mars.
