Good idea to get lots of train travel in before your railcard runs out. After that the economics make no sense at all.

These trains hardly have a trolley on the Cardiff Nottingham service surprised that they don't have plug sockets the transport Wales 170 s used on my local line to ebbw vale have plug sockets

At what point did cross country not meet your expectations? As you stated in your headline title "cramped train and awful service" I didn't see any of that through out the 10 mins 16secs of this "review". Care to explain?

@@danielstripreports delays sadly happen (should be expected) but that doesn't exactly equat to an awful service now does it? If say your train never turned up or you was promised a first class meal but only received substandard packet of crisps and can of drink instead of the first class meal then I could see your point on the awful service but a slight delay? Come on now you can't mark them down for things out of their control.

Up to me what I put in my review. The service was poor, dirty and cramped. The train was delayed which is sometimes the operators fault, and sometimes out of their control. I think most people can agree that cross country are one of the poorest train operators in the country their trains are very dated.

@@Six_b Well as you can see from the video he does not once mention it being an "awful service" infact for the whole 10 minutes and 16 seconds (of which you will never get back) he has nothing BUT good things to say! 😐🙄 so.... care to explain that happenstance? And just an FYI mate if he doesn't want criticism be it good or bad maybe he should remove the comment section of his future videos or just stop trying to click bait people.

Chill out mate, click bait is a little offensive as I just produce videos to give people info on trips. Don’t watch the video if you don’t want like it. Why would I turn off comments when most people enjoy my videos, you’re just shelling out Criticism cos for criticisms sake, especially on christmas day smh.
