This dude dropped the ball so hard, you did excellent to not give up after the initial push. He likely didn't know what to do after you didn't resign and was fully winging it, hence the revolt.

Nice. The guy saw the mortars and revolted without an answer to the mortars, so, should have made some cav before revolting. But was an entertaining match

I think Loar usually finishes the game with that early push so when he faced mid and late game he lacked experience

Yeah that's what I was thinking, he was probably getting quite a lot of ELO from the opening build as a lot of players struggle to defend

that was so cool you are so good at defending those early pushes I've noticed. Weird late game by the opponent but I think even if he had not turtled hard or focused on eco after that first timing push I think you still would have had the tempo advantage which is so cool to see. I wish I was able to recover like that

I think he revolted since he ran out of resources. His mines and hunts weren't available, idk why he didnt keep pushing in age 2 with humbaracis and delis he couldve done so much more, or even like you said spahi in age 3 wouldve been devastating

Cool game, but kinda disappointed because he was too lost after the first attack. I can understand the turtle, but the revolt its nonsense, he had a lot of resources. Even his micro at the end was weird, very weird. But after all that, its nice to come at the end of a game and enjoyed all parts :D

Tbh, china has a slight edge vs ottoman. Strong cav of china acts as good meatshield vs low dps janissaries.

I've played Loar before. He has to be a young kid because he always turtles. He typically builds forts and FI's. He a very low level player for sure. Also very annoying to play

@wedgie its the lame metas nowadays that are why you arent enjoying the game recently. Same with me. The current metas incentivize longer games, timed attacks, only FFing, and favors turtle civs. This wasn't the case 2 years ago. The Devs have F'd up the game. The reason you enjoy this match is because he applied age 2 pressure which was fast paced and exciting. The Devs have moved away from this type of game play in favor of FF'ing into loner games
