"Special Lady" - Ray, Goodman, & Brown

Formerly The Moments, on Sylvia Robinson's All Platinum offshoot, Stang Records, when they signed with Polydor Records, circa 1979 she did not want them to use their legendary moniker and so they became "(Harry) Ray, (Al) Goodman & (Billy) Brown". This 45rpm as well as the album (on Polydor) from which it is culled, both went Gold on the charts in 1980. One of my favorite groups of all times, in the "Jimi Bruce Hall of Fame", I post this video by special request from one who saw my previous TH-cam shared music. NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED - only the love of sharing music of my lifetime with those who can appreciate it. I remember also, when my radio mentor, Sonny Taylor, became a promotions executive at Polydor Records! As WWRL AM 1600's legendary DJ, Hank Spann, would say on the outro, "Hey NOW!..."
