At about 35:00 into Episode 3, right as Vi and Powder are having their last exchange (in the aftermath of the monkey bomb explosion), you can hear the chord progression of Goodbye playing and building as atmosphere for the scene. Innocence lost.
I can't get enough of watching peoples genuine reaction to this episode. This whole show really is an emotional roller-coaster of a ride, and genuine reactions like yours will keep people coming back for more.

Was going to write exactly this. The song enhances the scene so much, and it unfortunately gets little attention in reactions. But then again this episode is so jampacked with amazingness that it's tough not cutting something good.
That last fade-out scene is from Vi’s point of view as she succumbs to being knocked out. Imagine that as your last view of your adoring sister, and thinking back on that last exchange, and you can’t actually do a damn thing about it.
Loved this so much! One thing I really appreciated about them releasing these 3 at a time is that they forced us to sit with this episode for a week before moving on. We fall in love with these characters and the complexity of their situations, and then they leave us with THIS-just like a rock in your gut. I totally just sat, stunned, and watched the credits roll too-I needed to process!! Hopefully you can take some time with it, this is a series WORTH not rushing through! Love that you’re sharing your journey through it with us!

Even at 7:03, you mention it's so good and watching the Witcher and it's not comparable. Similar thing happened with me. I watched the Witcher (season 2) before Arcane, and liked it - it was a well made season. But Arcane just blew me away! To the extent that I'm just watching it again and again, and can't make myself watch any new TV show or movie thinking it'll not live up to Arcane levels. Eventually I'll find something that's as good or better but not sure anything in animation will ever come close to this level of mastery. There have been very few episodes in any TV show with this level of suspense and emotions. The one that comes to mind immediately is episode 4 of Happy Valley season 1.

FFS, she's still mostly a kid herself and her sister's recklessness just contributed mightily to the death of *both* their best friends *and* their surrogate father when - from Vi's POV - they had it under control. Of course, the primary fault for all of their deaths is Silco.
I think it's the fault of everyone :) Ekko for telling Vi that Jayce was rich, Vi for wanting to steal Jayce, Powder for destroying the building and so on :p

Powder didn't loose Deckard on Vander and the kids while they were trying to rescue him (a thing they were morally justified to try to do); Silco did. And Powder was reckless in using the orb to power her bomb, but the greater evil she was trying to protect her sister, friends, and surrogate father from? Silco. None of any of this death and horror happen in this episode if Silco isn't out there ushering it along.
You could argue it's piltovers fault for having the resources to help but refusing to aswell. Ultimately that's what motivates Vander and silco in the first place
That's right. While there's absolutely no doubt that Silco is a villain, it's the Council's exploitation of and apathy to the suffering of the Undercity that *makes* people like Silco.

Tip, the show and the game never really should be connected. The lore/ stories created for this universe were designed solely to give the characters you play back stories for those who want to read it and feel connected to the game. You can play the game for years and never learn anything about the lore and vice versa. So its not worth connecting to show to the game at any point. They are completely separate besides the characters. The only real connection is the lore and the show depicts abilities a character may have in the game.

Vander was never in love with the enforcer. I don't know why you imagined that idea, but it never happened, and at this point never will. How about we just let the show decide who ends up together rather than coming up with ridiculous ideas that have no evidence.
